Thank you so much for all of your information! I took your advice and was able to obtain my CIIP. It was not an easy task however you made it bearable.
Thank you for providing that feedback Jacque. Really happy to know we could help in some way. Good luck on the job hunt! We just posted some interview advice today on our site. Perhaps you'll find it helpful. pacsbootcamp.com/10-tips-to-prepare-for-an-interview/
Hi Mona. Sorry to hear you missed it by just one point. We offer a practice exam on our site. If you haven't taken it yet, please reach out to us. We can offer it to you free of charge. Support@pacsbootcamp.com
Hi, yes ABII is for Imaging Informatics which is a broader scope. PACS admin is a role that falls under the scope of an imaging informatics role. The ABII exam is the one we recommend based on our personal experiences. However there are others provided by PARCA. We have the books listed here on our website. pacsbootcamp.com/bootcamp/ Hope this helps.
Hi Sherina. If you have the drive, the commitment and the time, it's absolutely possible. In fact some of us here on the team were Rad Techs. Our TH-cam videos explain how you could possibly there. Our website PACS Bootcamp shows you step by step as well. Through free course modules and quizzes. But before you make the commitment, be sure this is the path for you!
Yes it's possible but you'll have to make up for the lack of experience by at least understanding the technical aspects and how they apply to the workflow. For example HL7, DICOM, Computer hardware and software, computer networking, etc. Our site provides free content on these topics. Pacsbootcamp.com Hope this is helpful to you.
Oh are you referring to the 2021 FDA rule. Interesting... though it's going to be hard to get folks to start saying MIMPS instead of PACS. Sounds funky
