So many other people would milk this to 20 min of unnecessary footage… Joe gives us the concentrated good bits. But I would also watch this if Joe made it 20 min bc I know it’d still be quality

I did it in 2018.... that was my last big food challenge, could't eat for a day after... and the potty time afterwards was painful to say the least... .. good try Joe!
I also think strategy plays a bigger role than most think in this challenge. For example, potatoes are the most satiating food along with proteins (your breakfast was bacon, eggs, sausage, beans, and fries, then the massive amount of turkey, etc.). I have also seen people eating rice, pasta, and tons of unnecessary bread, I think that is detrimental to your success because it takes up so much space in your stomach. If you eat less of those, you can eat more empty calories to run the counter up, and for the sodas, you could open them up and let them run flat because the carbonation can really mess up your stomach and make you gassy/bloated. I think the main strategy is cheeses, oils, sugar (also maybe not sour food like Sour Patch Kids haha), and calculated consumption of proteins. Also, chewing the food longer so it's easier to digest would be super important, you could fit more food in your stomach and digest everything a lot better. I would also rather eat all the proteins first so my body could digest them during my sleep instead of waking up with clogged arteries from the pizza lol Main foods I would eat if I did the challenge: McDonald's Double Quarter Pounders With Cheese (I know I said proteins are bad for staying hungry, but I think when they are deliberately split up and manageable, it would work, especially before sleep) 2 Lbs. of Ground Beef 70/30 (^) Chic-Fil-A Chicken Sandwich (^) Donuts with lots of glaze and toppings (from a bakery, they have way more calories than store-bought ones. Like 190 store-bought vs. 750 at a bakery) Cheese pizza with extra cheese Olive oil shots throughout the day???? Peanut Butter (with bananas, or in shakes) Taco Bell Quesadillas (very small for 500 calories) Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup Pint Total Calories With This Plan: 834 in Double Quarter Pounders (2) 3,012 in Ground Beef (2 Lbs.) 440 in Chicken Sandwiches (1) 3,750 in donuts. (5) ~2,500 in Pizza. (1 Large) 4,000 in olive oil. (4-8 shots depending on how the first one goes🤣🤣) 1,500 in PB. (1 cup) 2,500 in T.B. Quesadillas. (5) 1,311 in Ben & Jerry's (1 Pint) 19,847 (not including any sodas, bananas, other desserts, sauces, etc.) If you include any of that, it's 20,000 easily! (I spent an hour and a half brainstorming and researching what would work/not work, so hopefully this comment gets seen)
These challenges are amazing. I really loved the one where you ate 10,000 calories and then burnt it all off. That shows true courage and determination. Keep it up bro!!!
I appreciate your sincerity. You have no problem showing your limits. It is full of youtubers making videos where they eat tons of food and no matter how hard the challenge is, They always carried it on. So there is no surprise when you watch them But in your videos we see an average man facing different challenges. Sometimes you win sometimes you fail and this reminds us that we are always humans.
Great job bro! Love your videos sooo much. Motivated me to stop playing games 24\7 so now I started woking on my body end even trying to film my workouts to become an influencer in fitness too! Keep it up man you are the real life-changer!
bro i literally cant believe it, first time i stumbled on your videos you had 30k subs. Its amazing, this journey everytime i used to watch you i could always see myself watching you ( we're the same age). I cant say nothing more that a big thank you and like really congrats bro keep it up! ( your editing by the way sooo much better bro haha)
Wtf is this content man. I miss the old Joe Fazer, where he did what he eats in a day and stuff about the gym and bulking. That's the reason why I watched him and subscribed. Bring back the old content.
I've never done a challenge like this but I would think an approach of 1,000 calories per hour for 20 hours would be a better strategy. A grilled cheese with 100g of cheddar, an avocado, 2 slices of bread cooked in 1 tbsp of butter and then a handful of nuts is 1000 cal. I'd go for more normal portions throughout the time than bug sittings, but that's just me. Great vid as usual!
@@sauceprovider3171 sure but if your goal is to eat the calories from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., you could eat 1000 at 12:01, sleep until 4 a.m., wake up and eat 1000 on the hour, then be back to bed at 10 p.m. having eaten 20,000 cals. It's not ideal but I think most of us have stayed up 20 hours continuously at one point or another -- plus you could doze in between eating if you wanted. For a challenge, why not?
you are eating the wrong foods, please do your homework before and eat something which has a lot of calorie and easy to it. Such as a milkshake or more some ice cream
Fitness industry is really really blessed to have someone like Joe! You have literally influenced 1000’s of skinny kids which includes me as well! You might not believe me, your shredded physique is on my Lock Screen! Long live joe🙌🏻🙌🏻
Joe couldve easily gotten 20k if he actually planned out his meals ahead of time and looked for super high cal foods and replaced all those cokes with higher cal drinks or smoothies
If I had to do this challenge I'd eat bags of almonds or sunflower seeds. Because even 3-4 kilos of those seems more manageable that the horrendous amount of food he took in.
How do you determine the amount of calories for each meal, especially the meals in restaurants? Do you weigh the food and look up the calories online, ask the stuff or just assume approximately? I'm asking cuz these are pretty specific numbers, when I calculate my calories I just write ie around 500 calories 😄
For normal meals at home, you weigh the food and calculate the calories using the nutritional information on the packet. If it's unpackaged (eg. Fruit), use the internet/calorie counting app to make your best calorie estimate based on the weight/size. I expect that the restaurants Joe chose to go to had the amount of calories displayed on the menu. This is very common in franchises/chains in the UK.
Is it just me who thinks this could be done much more easily? That entire roast had less calories than a battered mars bar, and a 500mL peanut butter milkshake from five guys contains 1,300, way more than coke
Hi Joe please bring back the 10 min long videos. They feel too short. Also is there any chance of you bringing back training videos. I've watched you since 2019 and miss the og videos.
Joe, you could have gotten through more calories easier if u ate cheeseburgers instead of massive dinner plates, because more volume makes you feel fuller. like 3 small cheeseburgers from McDonald's is basically 2K cals and ur still hungry after eating that.

Joe, you need to go to Las Vegas (not in the Summer, it is incredibly hot right now) and do a Buffet challenge.
