You stayed so chill with the longboarder dropping in, and encouraged someone else to go. Turning your experience into something beautiful, just like the way you surf. You remain my fave to watch.
Thank you! This is probably a reflection of the type of line up on this day - non competitive and abundant waves (also, not waves worth fighting over for me) so it becomes much easier to share and play. I struggle to have to same mindset when it’s pumping 😂😂
POV is so important for us comparing our own GoPro footage and trying to improve. This footage has great examples of where you need to look e.g. where you wanna go.
I was out there with you and only got 2 waves I saw the shark it was a 2.5metre white full exploded out of the water chasing mullet Cheers for not naming our break 🤙
This really made me realize I need to get better at cutbacks to the foam ball, you make them look so easy and I think the POV may have opened my eyes to some of my problems with them. I only surf a beach break so I’m not always keen to cut back and get closed out on! 😂 Cheers!
I think POV is really a great tool for improving your surfing, especially when you've someone like Kale filming himself. I've used your clips as reference (I have an Osmo Action as well) and combined with the tips in the SurfersRoadmap I started progressing more consistently. Kudos from Sardinia 🤙
Hey kale, what’s your height - weight? What are your dims? Like your surfing and I dig the boards. Want to get an idea of the aspect ratio per say, to keep thinking about these type of boards in my own quiver. I have a hard time getting the right dims with the right shapes in these middies although mine feel great I want to refine.
@@KalesBroccoli The secret sauce. I understand. Thanks dude! I’ve been having success with all different sizes. Been tough to predict what will be good tho. The common denominators have been the ones with really thin tails and a fin profile similar to the futures T1.
I’ve been adjusting to riding a 6’10”. I’m not use to sliding my back foot around too much. Do you keep your back foot on the tail or do you slide it back and forth?
@@KalesBroccoli would your model be available in europe ? cuz i'm in france and am looking for a 6'6 perf midlength before septemberrr, takkke myy moneyyyy
6’5 ? Ha my short board is 6’6 ! I always thought mid lengths are like high 6 (6’8 or 610) up to maybe 8’. Anyway nice POV. Makes me want to go surfing

@@KalesBroccoli ha ha ha now that you mention it .... that honesty holds up a mirror to me and makes me feel uncomfortable with myself :)

Awesome!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love the full roundhouse cutback where you have a good tight pocket and we can see your full rotation as you turn ❤❤

Yeah that was mental! I reckon I saw one the next day too! 👍🏽
How fun! Love waves like this. Dreamy.
The best!
I'm stunned how manouverable you make that thing! A kiss of rocker, not too much foam.. That thing looks like a blast. Keep shredding, man!
😍 it’s the best!
I have a 6'8" twin and we are gonna get a good swell this weekend here in NJ so this video got me pumped to take it out
This was so awesome in so many ways. Simple POV surfing... Truly ASMR for this land-locked dreamer, really. Thanks, Brock. More like this, please!
🙏🏽 glad to be of service sir! 🫡
so good. how much time do you spend in the water per week compare to strength and stability exercises ?

POV is good for that!
Merci pour cette vidéo qui m’a permis de sortir virtuellement de la grisaille de la ville ! Bonne continuation.
De rien mec 😎

Beautiful session! Got to be happy with that!
Lovely 🥰
5:04 Karma for letting that person go. Wave stood up with a rippable lip 🤤
I can't wait to get my hands on one of those secret boards!

Are you using a GoPro? and if so what are your settings? the quality looks amazing. btw love the vids

Insane surfing

It’s a little mobile but mainly on the tail!
Any trips planned for Europe this year??
Maybe 😉 stay tuned via my newsletter ! 🏊♀️ 🌊
what are the dims and volume of the thruster one? is it epoxy ? :)
Do they both look quite thick to you? I don't think I've ever ridden a board that thick. I wonder what the difference feels like.
Can’t share that yet :) but yes it is EPS
Hiding volume under the chest but maintaining high responsiveness 😜

What size is the board you are using?
6’5 is all I can share at the moment 😋
@@KalesBroccoli thanks! Was just wondering how much potential I could reach with my 7’2 😬

Location?
If its where I'm thinking, such a nice localised and respected spot! Lovely part of NSW...well unless the seaweed is overwhelming ;-)
