I'd seen some people review the pad and decided I wasn't going to get it. Then Tim did the live and as soon as I can get my hands on the toner I'll grab it.

Very cool way to use it with the brayer! Much better. I found some today at my local spotlight (which isn't that great) so try your local store!

I did the same thing when I got it. Went ahead and stamped straight away with the pad (I’m still waiting on my brayer).
But I rewatched some Heidi videos and after pouring you ink into the stamp, you are meant to wait 15minutes before stamping. You are right. It needs to be tacky to work.
    But great video, thank you!,

Hi. I've got a few things that have given me almost, perfect results.
I find that Thermoweb Deco Foil is so much better than the Heidi Swapp foil.
I found that using a small finger dauber to apply the ink straight from the bottle works really well. You can control how much ink goes onto the stamp- and it's also great for small words or thinner images. I tried the brayer method and I found it way too messy, both on the stamps and the hassle of having to clean up so much. After you've put the ink on the dauber, leave it for a few minutes or blot away the excess onto a piece of paper before applying the ink to your stamp, you can build up the ink like you would with regular ink. Then leave the stamped image to dry as usual.

Thanks so much for the tips! I'll make sure to employ them from now on!! Sadly though, I already have a LOT of Heidi Swapp foil. I find it works well most of the time though.

Also, could you please let us know where you got the background stamp with the beautiful script? I love that. I’m in the US. Thank you. ❤️

That one is from Kaisercraft. It's an Aussie company, but not sure if you can get it in the US (it is on Amazon, but out of stock). This is the link to the Aus store: bit.ly/3rr2NVe Good luck!

What a fabulous video :) THANK YOU so much for doing the hard work for us! I was just starting to wonder if the magic results only happen to the overseas crafters, but seeing you use the brayer and the results you got, I have reason to get excited again. Looks like the beauty is definitely in the ink coverage. Could it also be in the stamp quality and how the ink adheres to the stamp? Same as some dye inks - sometimes it beads up on certain stamps.....just a thought. Also what surface you stamp on? And yes I was going to say that as the ink dries and it's not so fluid the results should be better. Like when you do a Lino Print and you get too much ink on your lino, the ink get in the grooves and stamps out goopy :(.

You're so welcome. I'm glad you found it helpful! I think the more you practice, the easier it will get. I stamp on my Tonic Glass Mat, which usually gives really good results. Thanks for your awesome comment.. I got a lot out it! :)

fun video. There's definitely a learning curve with that ink. BTW if you let the ink completely dry on your craft mat you can just use an old gift card and scrape it right off. much less messy.

Oh great tip Julie! Thanks so much! I try and clean up as soon as I'm done, but I have a feeling when it gets a bit warmer here it might dry faster!

@@PlumMashable I actually used this ink the other day and used a coated piece of paper (sort of like freezer paper or the kind you peel away from stickers) instead of a mat. That way i could just throw it away when I was done. It was so much easier on the clean up!

I was in my local Spotlight store today (one of the smaller ones) and it was there on the shelf. I know it's still not on the website, but check in store!
