Great thinking Nancy !! The paper made all the difference. Maybe will have to reconsider the purchase. Those leaves are very pretty and YES !!! that birch foil is the bomb !!
I've wanted to start using this method in my cards, so I've been watching your videos in preparation. Thank you for sharing all these great ideas and supplies.
This is the only video I have seen on this foiling ink. But it looks like a win to me!!! I wonder if you could just use versamark ink to foil with? I don't have a foiling machine. So I really don't know much of anything about them. But I do love you videos!!
Great job... not sure I want to make sure I have the special paper, special stamp, etc to use this product. Agree it’s a great idea. I think there is still some work to be done in the labs to make this product better. Appreciate all your hard work to make it “work”!
A stamp pad usually helps stamped images as well. Do you need to mix toner or doesnt it settle? Heidi has a video also. I think that Brutus Monroe thermoweb has a foil similar to the birch bark one you used.
This is a new product just launched. See my unboxing video linked at the end. Brutus monroe uses decofoil which is not as thick or as much in the roll as creative Vision stamps foil
How long can you hold onto a stamped item before you foil it? Does it have to be foiled within a certain amount of time? I got a Minc on clearance today and I can't wait to get this ink. Thank you for the instructions. I wonder if you can use We R Memory Keepers foil, that you use with the foil quill on your cutting machine.
Once the ink is dry you can foil whenever you fancy. No time limit. No, do not use foil quill foil. It is heat activated and will over foil your project.
I love how it came out! To me it looks perfect! That little tiny area that was missing really doesn't show unless you look really closely. Can this toner be used in Go Press and Foil machine? Will regular ink work in a Go Press and Foil as a transfer medium? I think it would be cool to use that birch bark foil on some birch tree stamps!
Hi Nancy! Thank you for the great tutorial. Beautiful use of the stamp set. However, I am not sure that waiting that long before using the ink is a good idea. Will it not dry out and get too hard by then? I was watching other tutorials from Creativation and the ink is not supposed to last that long. It is made to use right away. What are your thoughts?
th-cam.com/video/BsoQ5mrGod4/w-d-xo.html. Hi guys!! I attached the video I saw prior to my purchase. I would watch it just for reference. This may help you understand the tackiness. Happy Stamping!!!!
The ink is to be "stamped" as long as you can stamp it which is why I put fresh toner on. It is to dry completely before foiling. If you foil when it is wet it won't come out clear. Yes, stamping immediately works. But the ink comes out blobby, give it time to settle.
Is there a toner pen that would work with the circuit maker to foil with? I do not want to buy a toner printer or go somewhere that prints with toner ink to foil?
They did come out nice, but I am not a fan of distressed looks. I work so hard to make my cards perfect, distressed defeats the purpose. Not spending that much money for only distressed. Good idea and test though Nancy. Thanks!
Nancy, do you know if this TH paper simpler to Clay paper? This ink product sounds marvelous. Your “success” is absolutely gorgeous. Love how you used these pretty leaves from SA.
The concept is there i think but it is just way to much trouble. I feel it should come out of the gate with no problems. They might need to go back to the drawing board. Is there a way to reactivate the pad i wonder?
My mail woman texts that the package is delivered before it is actually done so if I go to look nothing is there. I usually wait about 20 minutes before looking. Kind of defeats the purpose of defeating porch pirates. I one time got a text that my package was delivered but it was UPS delivered it to the post office for final delivery the next day. I called the post office about the missing package to be met with lots of question marks. When they do that the code changes to a USPS code so we ordinary mortals dont know what the heck is going on. I love the stamp set but the ink is too expensive. I think I could get a similar look using heat embossing. I just picked up a Mini Minc at Tuesday Morning so I’m checking out your videos.
Mary I don't edit my videos, can't pause on the iPad. You can skip ahead 10 secs by tapping the right side of the screen twice. Sometimes I have to answer if it is work related.
These cards are gorgeous!
Yes it was a success...You did good Nancy...............bravo............pat
Great thinking Nancy !! The paper made all the difference. Maybe will have to reconsider the purchase. Those leaves are very pretty and YES !!! that birch foil is the bomb !!
So happy you finally got this to work and the distressed look is awesome! Love your videos Nancy!
Love all these cards!,SUCCESS!!
I love it and your foiling turned out great! I have a few supplies so I think I’ll give it a try. You helped give me courage. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful job! You might try storing the ink pad in a baggie to see if maybe it won't dry out so quickly.
Nancy, these turned out awesome! Thanks for sharing with us.
Well that was quite a save. Wow, pretty cool.
Made my own a year ago using black toner ink and an empty ink pad. Works great
Is the ink you used so sticky? Does it dry out fast?
@@Debbie-rx6tb yes slightly sticky but it dries well. Just be sure to wash your stamps or stencils in soapy water straight away 😊
I will be doing this technique. Thanks for sharing.
This turn out so pretty. Thank you Nancy
Love this!
Another great video, Nancy! I really enjoy and appreciate your experiments. I would say this was a foiling success!
I've wanted to start using this method in my cards, so I've been watching your videos in preparation. Thank you for sharing all these great ideas and supplies.
These are all awesome!!! I appreciate your time & creativity!!! Need to try this!!! Blessings & hugs!!!
Love how this turned out. Thank you.
This is a awesome teaching tutorial
Yes!!

No versamark is not an adhesive and will not work. Watch my other 2 videos before deciding.

Great Idea! And those cards look gorgeous! 🥰
Great cards, thanks for all that you do!
I just got the toner ink set saturday and played around with it and was not happy at all. Going to try your tips.
Good on you for figuring a way out!
Hi Nancy FYI: new CVS color Tutti Frutti is Razzle Dazzle with pink tone and Pretty in Pink is close to Nana Rose got my foils on Friday
Got mine today. Going to swatch
Now that looks great! I wonder how it would look on dark paper? Would you be able to stamp using a Misti?
Yes, I am wondering if that ink would harm my Tim Holtz stamping platform thingy.
Thanks for sharing. Love what you do

Hey Nancy do you think after using the ink pad one could close it and seal it in a zip lock bag to keep it from drying out. Love your video .
Probably for a short time. I was even thinking putting it in the fridge.
Thx for the video.
Did you spray the stampin up cleaner fluid on the 'stamp n scrub' or some other cleaner?
Hero arts ultra clean
you have pretty hands, and I love your nail color~

@@NancyStamps Thank you!!
Only just seen your video!! I’m only a year behind everyone else! Lol! Would this work on vellum/Parchment do you think?
It should, might take an extra minute to dry though.
Wonderful video
What about using a regulator laminator...that I purchased for foiling?
Yes if it works for foiling, it should work for this.
@@NancyStamps Thanks...exactly what I think!
Hi, have you tried Heidi Swapp's magic medium to stamp and foil with? Thanks
Not yet. Will look into it
I love how it came out!
No, that's a different foiling system. This is toner/minc foil. That's hot foiling system. It works with hot foil and dies.
So pretty
hello, i cannot find the video where you mention the name of the black and white printed paper pads which can be foiled, can you tell me which co.
Does this require a special card stock or stamp?

There is a Heidi Swapp Toner pen

I'm the same way! I'd prefer a cleaner more solid look. But I had already wasted the money.
Nancy, do you know if this TH paper simpler to Clay paper? This ink product sounds marvelous. Your “success” is absolutely gorgeous. Love how you used these pretty leaves from SA.
Ohhh never tried clay paper but sounds like it would be similar
thanks!
Also where did you buy your cardstock?
Try Hamilco 100lb: amzn.to/2BhvoGL
Beauteeeful !!!
The concept is there i think but it is just way to much trouble. I feel it should come out of the gate with no problems. They might need to go back to the drawing board. Is there a way to reactivate the pad i wonder?
Agreed
Nancy Stamps I agree too...who wants to buy an ink pad that discentigrares in a week, or even a month or 6 months?
Does the toner pad pretty much dry out after each use?
Yes, I don't recommend it.
VERY pretty. Just not ready to get a Minc. Also, I also had a problem with packages not getting
... so tired ... continuing ... delivered. I have a box at the UPS store. They sometimes run specials. It’s worth it to me. FYI!
Do I need to put my mini Minc on a mat when I'm using it because of the heat? Thank you!
No. But I keep mine on a glass mat. Using heat setting 3 should be ok.
Thank. Enjoy your videos!
Love it! Who knew?
PS - I liked it better without the distress around with a leaf motifs
It should have read, “... without distress ink around the leafs.”
Me too. Didn't blend out so nice and scratched the foil.
Too bad they don’t just put markings on the bottle so you don’t need the measuring cup
