I appreciate that very much! I apologize for the late reply Mr. Savage. I'm a rookie myself and probably will be for the foreseeable future, lol. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm working on my editing game still so please forgive the quality at the moment. ✌️
Thanks for vid. Do you know how much finished substrate this makes by volume? I'll be using four 6qt shoeboxes for my grow and a full recipe seems like it makes a lot. Maybe I can do half?
Sorry fir the late reply. The CVG is technically pasteurized, not sterilized. You need more heat for a sustained period of time to sterilize properly. You can make your CVG in the bucket and then make jars or unicorn/ all-in-one bags and put them in a pressure cooker to sterilize them. Pressure cookers will give you a high temperature and pressure i.e. 15 psi. for your desired time span. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I was using two UB bags per 6 qt. tub. You have to find a ratio that works for you. Typically the more spawn the faster the colonization. I wouldn't do more than 50/50
You’re instructions are awesome for us Rookies out here. Bless you Boss🙏🏾💙

Honestly the substrate goes fast if you are actually using enough of it in those boxes
is this CVG pasturised/ sterilised from the boiling water?

how long does it keep for? The unused substrate...
How much and what ratio CVG to make for two 6 quart showbox?

How much substrate do you use in relation to the container?
It's up to you. I go for 50/50 or so with a casing layer on top.
Quarts and pints confuse my tiny brain
