Dad was 100% accurate when he said you can’t wrap your head around the number. I gave birth to triplets (2 boys, 1 girl), also conceived naturally, that were a huge surprise. And by huge I mean if I would’ve been less surprised if I woke up with my eyes surgically sewn shut. We just walked around muttering “there’s three of them, there’s three of them, they outnumber us, that’s bad, right?” After 4 weeks in the NICU all three of my babies came home, with only my smallest needing continued care for a minor heart condition. That was 3 years ago and I couldn’t imagine my life without any of them. They’re my world❤️
what beautiful little babies, lilys tiny foot peeking out the blanket melted my heart, having four newborns is going to be four times the stress, four times the loss of sleep, four times the clothing and diapers and four times the puke, but then theres four times the snuggling and cuddling, four times the cooing and babbling, four times the giggles and tickles, four times the kisses and hugs, four times the first words and first steps, while it might be four times harder bringing up these little ones its four times more worth watching them grow

My sister in law had identical triplet boys naturally with no IVF or anything. They were born at 23 weeks. Multiples don't run in the family either. They are 7 almost 8 now.
Identical twins don't run in families anyway. And ivf doesnt cause identicals.

@mrmrso228 omg they are! They have such different personalities and interests as they get older. We like being the cool nerdy aunt and uncle with no kids so we spend most of my money and time on them .

How wonderful. I delivered my identical twin girls at 29 weeks. Their lungs where fine. They came home in a week. Congratulations ❤
29 weeks or 39 weeks? How much did they weigh? I can't see them getting out of the NICU in a week if you truly delivered at 29 weeks.
@@choosey87 I truly understand your not believing me it was definitely at 29 weeks. They weighed 4 lbs 9 oz
And 5 lbs 1 oz. I truly thank God for them their lungs we fully developed. They were born a minimum of 6 weeks early. One twin couldn't suck one couldn't keep her body temperature up.

If the babies are identical, then fertility treatments and genetics of course aren't factors. Those are only factors in fraternal multiples. Identicals are just sort of a quirk of nature. Congratulations to them! I have twins, and I can tell you.....multiples aren't easy!

We've all heard of identical twins tricks and swapping personas. Imagine four identical girls pranking, especially when one gets in trouble and says "it wasn't me" while pointing the finger at a sibling. While they're babies I'd have to use color coded bracelets to tell them apart. 😂

I prob would have jumped off of the nearest bridge after the ultrasound. Totally given up on life 🥲. She’s so brave. And smiled even having to leave her babies so sick. 🥲 so much optimism! Such a brave soul.

@guerline685 probably because they're restricting abortion. People don't want kids and a lot of the time they're going to do something crazy not to have them, if they don't have a safe option
I'm not supporting them but it's really not surprising, given what the politicians are doing
I'm going to stretch the limits of credibility here and assume that you're "just" massively ignorant, and not the Internet's biggest douchebag ever:
1) The mother was overjoyed to find out that she was carrying four babies;
2) She's a far better person than you are, she wasn't "brave;"
3) She was smiling because A) that's the kind of person she is, and B) her babies are all healthy and home;
4) The babies were never "sick," let alone "so sick." They simply were born 11 weeks early, so were all under the five pounds required to let them go home. They had to be in the NICU until they each reached that five pounds, and as each one did, she went home to her parents and brothers.
I don't advocate suicide at all---but I'm mighty tempted to tell you to vanish, and rid the world of one of the meanest, nastiest, most negative, vilest people ever to comment on YT.

Idk why anyone would think they did IVF. You have fraternal babies with IVF. Identical is left up to chance. And identical babies aren't hereditary either. Only fraternal is. So I really don't understand all the confusion.
"Yes, it's possible to have identical twins through in vitro fertilization (IVF) when a single fertilized egg, or zygote, splits into two embryos. This is called monozygotic twinning (MZT). The chances of MZT with IVF are higher than with natural conception, occurring in 1-5% of IVF pregnancies compared to 0.4% naturally. However, the rate of identical twins with IVF is becoming less common as single embryo transfer becomes the preferred choice"

@@MariaPiedadChoreographer I didn't say that it wasn't possible. What I should have said was that it's not the IVF that causes identical twins. With IVF, multiple eggs are put in, which means they're fraternal. Identical is always left up to chance.
And that ending still doesn't make sense. Which is sad since it's from a trusted source or at least that's what you wrote. One has nothing to do with another. Even if one egg is put in, that could still split.
@@arrowverselover100 Well... the article did say "less common" not "impossible." I think that phrasing is to reflect probability; if less eggs are transferred, then there are less eggs available to potentially split.

outdaughtered (the Busby) was through fertility treatments/IVF. and they were't all identical, only 2 of the 5 were. These are NATURAL identical quadruplets which IS rare.

DUH!! Did you not listen to one single thing??? They did NOTHING AT ALL to make this happen! NOTHING! They weren't trying to get pregnant, and they didn't use any means at all other than what God gave them---and since they already had two boys, it's obvious that all their respective reproduction organs function perfectly.

They all shared one and made it! I'm surprised they weren't asked to reduce the pregnancy to help them have better odds. ( im not saying that is a good or bad thing)

Whatever those contraptions are that they are in, they do not look at all safe. And they don’t look like they will last more than two or three weeks either..
They're battery-operated cradles, have been on the market and in use for at least seven years, and aren't cheap entertainment devices.
They're very well made, they're completely stable, and they do wonders to keep the baby calm and content.
Friends of mine have one that they used for their last two babies, so I saw the cradle in use all the time; it's quite heavy, not flimsy, and it operates smoothly, it's quiet, and the baby is very secure in it. It's used for babies until they're about three months old, it isn't meant for a lifetime of use by any one child (clarifying that for you since you haven't bothered to look the cradles up for yourself).
