This part of the brain is called the prefrontal cortex and is responsible for planning, prioritising and decision making. Faith is very different to social and emotional development. I work with young people and so, so many are being raised on social media, they come from trauma backgrounds etc and they are emotionally and socially stunted and I would argue much of the time lacking guidance from safe and caring adults in their lives. She is in the exact generation who has been basically raised on social media. We will be judged on whether we have put our faith and trust in Jesus, not by our executive functioning skills or lack thereof. I am grateful to our good and gracious Lord who doesn’t hold us accountable for all the stupid things we did in our younger years. My heart goes out to all of our young and hurting people. So many are harming themselves. I speak to them every day and I know Jesus loves them because the love I feel for them is not from myself. We are all so hard on each other, how sweet it is when there is grace, acceptance, forgiveness and love.

At first, I thought she was using him. Then, after a more careful analysis, they were using each other. Liam was reportedly battling demons for years, which he also admitted to in this video during an interview, saying he had been in a dark place in the past for which his boys helped him out of. She was working at a restaurant when she met him, so obviously had little money or at least definitely not as much money as he did. He had emotional regulation issues, and coped with drugs which made him a worse person to be around and probably aggravated his symptoms. She used him for money, resources, fame and a lifestyle, and called it love. He dominated and controlled her and was actually somewhat abusive. Evidence was when he mocked her and said she was a child and referred her as "children", telling her not to leave hats on the table. Or when he said she's finally "covered up". He had a controlling personality, and she is young and doesn't have much life experiences. They probably drove out the worst in each other. I think in this case, she was more a victim, who was controlled by him, and she submissively accepted in exchange for 'things'. He ultimately let his demons make him into a bad person which eventually led to his destruction.
I went to high school with Kate Cassidy. We were in the same grade. We were not friends by any means, but she was always polite in the conversations we had. She is not a gold digger (where we grew up, she doesn’t need to be) and she’s not the evil person some of you want her to be. She doesn’t deserve this hate. This book is somehow as if it is figuratively "written on his tombstone" 2. his girlfriend, with whom he was still officially together until his death, left the hotel they shared on the grounds that she found it boring there with Liam. It's kind of like she "doesn't feel the same as Liam does about her" and people are saying that now after his death as if it's "on his tombstone" again in a figurative sense. all very macabre.... Also, his girlfriend hinted that she sees him as a "loser" because they sleep all day until 12 noon. and he was a bit surprised to hear something like that. I think she broke up with him on the phone after she left (we'll never know unless she's honest, and Liam can't say anything more about it) and he found out at the same time that his other ex-girlfriend was going to publish a book about him. And he had other problems anyway. Now he felt that his life and he himself were broken and he killed himself. I feel very sorry for him. I send his family and friends lots of light, love and patience.

Clearly I don't know anything about Liam's personal life ( or his gf ) From what I've read, Liam clearly suffered from addiction, that unfortunately brought out his darkest demons at times ( which unfortunately is more common then not in the industry he was in..) - In MY opinion, its possible that while on the last trip, that he never planned on returning home. Which coukd maybe explain why they stayed longer then originally planned & in turn knowing that eventually his gf would want & had wanted to go home.. I'm willing to bet that after multiple conversations about her wanting to leave, he intentionally insisted on staying & encouraged her to go home.. From my experience, sadly when peope feel so defeated, depressed & actively using.. Once the idea of suicide enters your brain, sometimes it's the only "answer & solution" in their mind! Nothing or nobody can just instantly change their mind! (especially if nobody knows..) - I feel once his gf left & was left alone ( as he wanted ) with all of his many dark thoughts, that he convinced himself that now that he's alone, nobody there to tell him otherwise.. That the only way to silence the demons, end his addiction, & no longer have to live with the regrets & embarrassments due to his past bad actions, lashing out at people etc.. was to end his own life! I feel he planned out getting on the rooftop & "falling" of it.. Knowing it would be a quick way to make all the mental, emotional & any ouce of pain gone INSTANTLY! - None of us will ever know all the truths, but I don't feel his passing is anyone's "fault" - That unfortunately he & only he had his mind made up & chose not to tell anyone! ( because he didnt want anyone to try & stop him ) - I'm convinced, had he not had the opportunity to jump off the roof that day, he certainly would've found another way, at another time. Mental health can be such a dark lingering cloud, even with therapy, proper meds etc.. But some people insist they don't need or want the help/therapy.. Possibly due to "pride" "embarrassment" or simply cause they dont feel it will help etc.. Ultimately, some people just can't be saved, no matter how many people love & support them, no matter how many children they have, or how much money they have etc.. All that glitters, isn't always gold! & For some people, NOTHING or NOBODY has the ability to fill a void or bring light to the darkest part of their soul! It's beyond heartbreaking, especially when so many of us have hard days, live with some form of trauma, illness, depression, addiction, heart break etc.. yet still find the strength to get up each day, try to find the good this world does offer, acknowledge & count our blessings, remember to tell & show our family, friends, spouse, kids etc.. how loved & special they are! Do our best to forgive ourselves & others for the many mistakes made along the way! Life truly isn't an easy journey for ANYONE! This is me just completely speculating, not placing blame or saying this was Liam’s situation. But as a person who has a father in law who is an alcoholic, my FIL goes in a lot of trips with his wife and many of them she comes home early because he is drinking again or they had a bad argument. She’ll play it off like nothing happened and “she just missed home” but in reality it was a bad trip where relapse happened. So it is possible that is what happened here which led him to be destructive in the room and possibly self harming either on purpose or not the alcohol and drugs led to his un-aliving. Very tragic way to pass and at such a young age 😢hopefully she seeks therapy because sadly there is so much I’m sure she went through being with someone with addiction problems. This part of the brain is called the prefrontal cortex and is responsible for planning, prioritising and decision making. Faith is very different to social and emotional development. I work with young people and so, so many are being raised on social media, they come from trauma backgrounds etc and they are emotionally and socially stunted and I would argue much of the time lacking guidance from safe and caring adults in their lives. She is in the exact generation who has been basically raised on social media. We will be judged on whether we have put our faith and trust in Jesus, not by our executive functioning skills or lack thereof. I am grateful to our good and gracious Lord who doesn’t hold us accountable for all the stupid things we did in our younger years. My heart goes out to all of our young and hurting people. So many are harming themselves. I speak to them every day and I know Jesus loves them because the love I feel for them is not from myself. We are all so hard on each other, how sweet it is when there is grace, acceptance, forgiveness and love.

At first, I thought she was using him. Then, after a more careful analysis, they were using each other.
Liam was reportedly battling demons for years, which he also admitted to in this video during an interview, saying he had been in a dark place in the past for which his boys helped him out of.
She was working at a restaurant when she met him, so obviously had little money or at least definitely not as much money as he did.
He had emotional regulation issues, and coped with drugs which made him a worse person to be around and probably aggravated his symptoms.
She used him for money, resources, fame and a lifestyle, and called it love.
He dominated and controlled her and was actually somewhat abusive. Evidence was when he mocked her and said she was a child and referred her as "children", telling her not to leave hats on the table. Or when he said she's finally "covered up". He had a controlling personality, and she is young and doesn't have much life experiences.
They probably drove out the worst in each other.
I think in this case, she was more a victim, who was controlled by him, and she submissively accepted in exchange for 'things'. He ultimately let his demons make him into a bad person which eventually led to his destruction.

Clearly I don't know anything about Liam's personal life ( or his gf ) From what I've read, Liam clearly suffered from addiction, that unfortunately brought out his darkest demons at times ( which unfortunately is more common then not in the industry he was in..) - In MY opinion, its possible that while on the last trip, that he never planned on returning home. Which coukd maybe explain why they stayed longer then originally planned & in turn knowing that eventually his gf would want & had wanted to go home.. I'm willing to bet that after multiple conversations about her wanting to leave, he intentionally insisted on staying & encouraged her to go home.. From my experience, sadly when peope feel so defeated, depressed & actively using.. Once the idea of suicide enters your brain, sometimes it's the only "answer & solution" in their mind! Nothing or nobody can just instantly change their mind! (especially if nobody knows..) - I feel once his gf left & was left alone ( as he wanted ) with all of his many dark thoughts, that he convinced himself that now that he's alone, nobody there to tell him otherwise.. That the only way to silence the demons, end his addiction, & no longer have to live with the regrets & embarrassments due to his past bad actions, lashing out at people etc.. was to end his own life! I feel he planned out getting on the rooftop & "falling" of it.. Knowing it would be a quick way to make all the mental, emotional & any ouce of pain gone INSTANTLY! -
None of us will ever know all the truths, but I don't feel his passing is anyone's "fault" - That unfortunately he & only he had his mind made up & chose not to tell anyone! ( because he didnt want anyone to try & stop him ) - I'm convinced, had he not had the opportunity to jump off the roof that day, he certainly would've found another way, at another time. Mental health can be such a dark lingering cloud, even with therapy, proper meds etc.. But some people insist they don't need or want the help/therapy.. Possibly due to "pride" "embarrassment" or simply cause they dont feel it will help etc.. Ultimately, some people just can't be saved, no matter how many people love & support them, no matter how many children they have, or how much money they have etc.. All that glitters, isn't always gold! & For some people, NOTHING or NOBODY has the ability to fill a void or bring light to the darkest part of their soul! It's beyond heartbreaking, especially when so many of us have hard days, live with some form of trauma, illness, depression, addiction, heart break etc.. yet still find the strength to get up each day, try to find the good this world does offer, acknowledge & count our blessings, remember to tell & show our family, friends, spouse, kids etc.. how loved & special they are! Do our best to forgive ourselves & others for the many mistakes made along the way! Life truly isn't an easy journey for ANYONE! Even when you play by the rules, seemingly do & say all the "right" things & are genuinely a good person! Sometimes life just throws us daggers & unexpected challenges, but ultimately it's up to us to chose how to deal with each challenge, loss, tragedy etc.. & in MOST cases, shit does eventually get better again with time! - Unfortunately for some people, they aren't able to get through the hard times, or cope with certain tragic situations & in the end, just end up feeling so defeated & that the only solution in their mind, is to leave this world on their own terms! Sending prayers to his family & may his son grow up to be a strong, humble, loyal & hardworking man! Break the cycle & be surrounded by people that truly love, care & have his best interest at heart! Losing a parent is hard at ANY age! But as a kid, having a Dad who was a celebrity & seeing all the mixed opinions about him all over the Internet ( true & false ) I'm sure will present its own challenges unfortunately! I hope in time his family will teach & tell his son all the good things his Dad had done & accomplished! Explain the pressures that renders from being in the music business! Teach him & bring awareness about mental health & the effects of drugs.. & who knows, maybe he, like his Dad.. is a great singer & someday will want to perform & if not, that's okay too! I wish him the best & hope he follows his dreams! & Lastly, I hope he steers clear of all the negative toxicity that lingers on the internet! Especially about his Father.. idk how old he is, but I'm sure in time he will hear the good, bad & ugly about his Dad! It would be nice for him to learn & hear good things about him & when's he at an appropriate age, that he has someone who can honestly answer any questions & decide for himself how feels about his Dad & grows up to be a better person then perhaps BOTH of his parents! Just as all of us parents hope for! - Sorry this is so long, but felt the need to vent & 💯 understand if not everyone agrees with me! This is me just completely speculating, not placing blame or saying this was Liam’s situation. But as a person who has a father in law who is an alcoholic, my FIL goes in a lot of trips with his wife and many of them she comes home early because he is drinking again or they had a bad argument. She’ll play it off like nothing happened and “she just missed home” but in reality it was a bad trip where relapse happened. So it is possible that is what happened here which led him to be destructive in the room and possibly self harming either on purpose or not the alcohol and drugs led to his un-aliving. Very tragic way to pass and at such a young age 😢hopefully she seeks therapy because sadly there is so much I’m sure she went through being with someone with addiction problems. Hoping both Liam and her find peace ❤
I also think they ended up breaking up or having a fight and that's why she returned home :) Of course we will never know because it was between them and this woman will 100% not tell the whole story in fear of getting cyberbullied and all that jazz by fans
