Yeah I've noticed they often need a lot of time to try new things. I think they often don't even realize it's food 😋 I hope yours will get used to it 😊 Some of our birds didn't try the chop (yet). Blue and Pacalina just patiently waited until I put the seeds back 😂 But I was thinking of doing a 'bird chop Friday', feeding them bird chop every Friday morning. I thought maybe when it's a routine they start noticing it and they will automatically eat it. I put some of their favorite foods there (romaine lettuce and fresh basil). Maybe that also helped. I think sprouted mung beans will also encourage them. Or maybe I'll even sprinkle some egg food or seeds on top 😊
If you want to encourage your birds to eat the chop, don't forget to chop the ingredients very finely so they can pick it up and chew it very easily 😊
