Thank you Dr Kevin MGowan. I've taken several courses of yours and they are always well organized and helpful (whew, sparrow course). Thanks for all the education. Especially when you're not necessarily just getting started, but later when you think you need to know at least something, it's great to get a bit more in depth. It may have been horrendous at the time, but all that studying paid off for you, thanks.

..my mind was blown trying to comprehend how a ruby throated hummingbird (that I watch all the time at my feeder and have a sign that says This Place Is For The Birds) can travel for 15 hrs nonstop. Amazzzzing. Thanks so much for your insights.

Wish the Northeast had regulations for glass skyscrapers built in Flyway. Heard NYC has some rules, but NJ does not. NJ will be erecting large windmill farm in ocean on Flyway. Migrating birds in Newark NJ, are hitting the glass buildings regardless of lights on/off. Wonder if the location being so near the water is making them hit even when lights are out at some of these skyscrapers. Many glass buildings in Newark are not just a milk carton shape, but have ledges/angles/overhangs that serve as 'cow-catchers' the birds hit and fall into 'cow-catcher', the Gulls know the locations, as I can see them feasting high above on the victims. The pedestrians at street level do not see the huge volume of dead/injured birds that are seen near the milk carton shaped buildings, as they are out of view high up in the 'cow-catchers' . Today the ratio of injured birds to dead on the pavement was about 1 injured to 4 dead.

It appears she's disinterested, but she has to read the incoming questions and she can't do that if she doesn't look at her 2nd screen. It's the same with every live cast on every channel when 2 screens are being used.
