Hi Ceri 👋 Wow! What a fantastic job you did with the items I sent you. I love the addition of the beads on the front of the cover and I love the way you co-ordinated the pages on the inside. In fact I love it all. Hadn’t seen the Kraft Tex before but I’ll be looking out for that. I’ll have a video out soon on how I made the pieces for you. It’s funny because I was reviewing the footage yesterday and I said that I had intended doing something in earthy colours but felt drawn to blues and greens that day. I’m certain I also said that you could cut those fringes off! 😃 I will also be putting up a process video of how I used the items you sent me. Thanks again for being my swap partner. Ceri, it’s Judy again. I watched your video once more this morning and I wanted to make a few more comments. I am so thrilled that you used the white pages because I normally see tea-dyed pages and this was so unique. I held my breath for the second time watching you use the scissors on all the edges. No need for me to have a cardiac stress test this year. I feel I passed with flying colors!😂 I appreciate the time and effort you put into selecting, creating and editing this video. When something looks this effortless, it indicates a real professional!

As an option for most of the videos I watch I use 2X speed so it takes half as long to watch. I usually do fussy cuts, sorting, cutting down recycled packaging to cut off tabs etc as I'm preparing it for use in up coming projects. If my mind wanders I often back up a couple minutes and rematch it, paying better attention. This was a freak project and you pulled together pieces to make a wonderful journal.

When I first saw this on the previous video, I thought you tore some gelli prints and glued them on. But printing on the pages is much better, especially the magenta grid. It ties it all together. Thanks for sharing your project.

You took an already gorgeous cover and made it even more beautiful! I loved how you used the gel plate to add some color to the white pages. I do inks and watercolors on my mat with my grandson to make my pages...he will love using the gel plate, but I don't know if I'm up to cleaning up that mess 😅 I always love watching your videos and how you explain your reasonings for using the elements and colors you choose. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent with us...I know it makes me a better crafter/artist/maker!
