It's amazing thing. I have it on my Epiphone. Weird he said that it only have standard it has 6 banks and each bank has 6 option of tuning. Which make it 36 option. 24 are preset which can be adjusted by you. 2 banks are free so you can fill them up however you want. If you buy tune plus. Normal one should have 24 option. You should not need to drill holes for the machines. you need to buy correct type which you need to find on the website. They may not have tuner for your guitar. If you press on button one time it will show you preset option on what tuning are you right now (Low E red is standard) than you strum the guitar and it start tuning. You need to silence them and strum again. If the press on button two time then you can choose different tuning (on D is whole step down, B is E flat and so on) You choose the tuning (it'll adjust the string first then again strum the guitar. Second and very important thing which was left out that this tuner doesn't know what is standard tuning so you need to set it up. You put the string up and tune it with tuner and I advise you to learn tune the intonation as well so you have properly tuned guitar. then you go into setting (after you set up what guitar you use as he did) Press 3 times and press left for A (blue) them press enter for E and that is Calibration. You need to calibrate every time you change the strings. You have many options in the menu just need to red the manual. It can be overwhelming.

It seems like you put the left machine heads on the right side and the right ones on the left.
The whole idea dounds ok, but I decided not to install them in my guitar.
I ended up realising the old ways are better.
READ THE MANUAL works perfectly you need to calibrate every string change then tune 1 string with a reference tuner follow the instructions and the other strings will fall in line with your chosen reference strings . Also most important increase the accuracy setting and use individual string mode ( long press on starting )it will tune slower but better.
I have even calibrated to sweet tunings my Peterson tuner uses. It is a great addition to any guitar but you really have to learn how to use it to get the best performance

I have a gibson tronical autotuner but it seems the holes don't line up with epiphone. What did you do to get them to line up?
You should not put ANY screws on the back of this when installing. Its only held down by the nuts on the tuner post. He said he put screws in the back on the base plate but that is not how to install this
I've installed mine but the tuning pegs do not move when I turn the heads. Are they faulty or am I doing something wrong?
How is it determining the frequency? Is it measuring the vibrations on the capstan?

Will one of these made for a LP model fit the peg head on a SG? I'm not familiar with whether they use the same hole pattern, but I found one used and I don't want to buy it if I'm gonna have to drill new holes in my SG headstock. But it's SUPER tempting...

Everything would be backwards. Check to see if they have a left side tuner, or a way to set it up for left hand

Yes it does. I do Eb and Drop D tuning all the time.

How long did it take from your order to when you received it? I made an order on 20 August and when I emailed them for a tracking number they said they were sorry for the delay and would have it shipped asap... just wondering if you had a similar experience... still pumped to get it hoping it gets here within the next few weeks!
Actually I did. If you're in the US, it has to ship from UK. It's not a fast process...

Any update on how this panned out? I am considering buying a set for my tele but current reviews from buyers sound horrible. I dont mind waiting, just want to make sure they are actually delivering at this point.
First time I ordered a Tronical it took about 4 or 5 days from Germany to eastern Canada. Spent hours online extolling the virtues of this system - defending it, explaining it, promoting it, helping people configure it. I've bragged about it to fellow guitarists & inspired them to consider it. I ordered a Powertune April 2, and it's April 19th and they're finally going to FedEx it to me next week. I had to open a complaint with PayPal, attempt a chargeback on my credit card, and tried to contact Tronical via every social media account they have (TH-cam, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook). I managed to get through to a German site that provides parts, found an obscure email, and that finally got through. If you try to reach Tronical through traditional methods, you'll be ignored. Pay, wait, eventually get your product. No support, no updates - you don't exist. I absolutely love their products - but it takes a lot of effort to provide customer service that terrible. Upon the first whiff of competition, Tronical will fold. Apart from intentional self sabotage, I don't know why a company would behave this way.
