    I worked for a huge hotel that built on the Atlantic (albeit more tropical). The salty air destroyed everything. IIRC the new complex required over $10m in repairs BEFORE the hotel opened (paint, wood, plants, grass...). The wind and moisture don't help but the salty mist and salt in the air are the killers.
    Then there are the storms, but those are more instant damage. . .

    I guess that pattern doesn't lend itself, but if it were me, I would have wanted the control joints to be integrated. Visually, it looks like an after-thought. No question it worked. Better than random cracks I suppose.

    The property is quite nice but the power plant is a real downer. As is the house condition. Can you recoup all the expense and effort or is it just throwing good money after bad? Refurb would make for awesome video content!

      I agree, and I don't think the current asking price of $289k is anywhere near where it should be.
      They paid $139 in 2017

      @@EngineerPEretired They must have done a lot of upgrades in the past 7 years! At $139k it would be a fun camp.
