Thanks for getting back to construction topics. Good catch ! Slip slide away I probably will use this info in real life.i am never going deep sea TY
Basically it's not continuous! Also the top hook is not continuous vertically and will just pull loose in the event of movement.
It's more the lack of shear key and rebar location on the compressive side of wall ...
I dont know a single thing about anything you are talking about, in ANY of your videos, as a guy that has worked an office job and sales my whole life, you have me intrigued and interested in learning more about everything. Great knowledge and skill set displayed by you man, keep going, many people learn from these 🙏🏽
Thanks for the view and your appreciation and interest of the content 😊
This one dude had me double guessung myself when he said the bubble will go to the lowest point, the way he explained it made since reguardless of what i know 😅
Thats the key word, the bubble goes to the high side, i know how to read a level, one dude explained it and it got me double guessind myself, its pretty self explanatory
overpriced book indeed for what's contained.
Lol on the writer getting triggered on everyone except him calling electricity "juice"
I never knew how to read one of these
Why does it only do this when cold. If it's warm out it works fine
You are just bleeding the system of air...
Very helpful
Did you try replacing the teeth with a new set?
Yes, it has new teeth and currently I put a new motor and it is a beast now
@@EngineerPEretired Great!
Tenemos en el trabajo una máquina así pero no funciona el UP solo dow
I can help you but not for free
I second the below comment! Geniusssssss
Thank you
Fica excelente acabei de desgrudar 2 copos de acrílico
Who makes it for them?
Dude .. this fkn video is ridiculous. Why waste anyone's time n just get to the point!
I got the same 2 post lift only mine is 9k. There's a little flex but it's normal when I first used it there was more than normal. The fix was to re-torque the anchors. Mine are all fully imbedded in 5" concrete about 1/2" thread showing and hold the torque. This guy ran out of threads he didn't pound them in all the way.
I would not trust it's just the bolts... 9000 lbs is multiplied as you go higher off the ground... How thick is your concrete and how deep are the anchors?, also how from from the wall or any crack in the concrete? Email me if u like with images as I am not sure if I will see a reply here
What about removing(not converting) heavy scaled rust with oxalic acid? Is it possible?
That would be good for cake makers too.
The property is quite nice but the power plant is a real downer. As is the house condition. Can you recoup all the expense and effort or is it just throwing good money after bad? Refurb would make for awesome video content!
I agree, and I don't think the current asking price of $289k is anywhere near where it should be. They paid $139 in 2017
@@EngineerPEretired They must have done a lot of upgrades in the past 7 years! At $139k it would be a fun camp.
I worked for a huge hotel that built on the Atlantic (albeit more tropical). The salty air destroyed everything. IIRC the new complex required over $10m in repairs BEFORE the hotel opened (paint, wood, plants, grass...). The wind and moisture don't help but the salty mist and salt in the air are the killers. Then there are the storms, but those are more instant damage. . .
I guess that pattern doesn't lend itself, but if it were me, I would have wanted the control joints to be integrated. Visually, it looks like an after-thought. No question it worked. Better than random cracks I suppose.
Old bricks need breathable mortar with lime and NEVER cement based mortar.
Is it reasonable of me to buy this to grind down 1/2” of concrete in a 200sq ft room or is it too much to ask of this machine? Putting new flooring in and need to level prior to laying laminate. Other option is using self leveler over 1200 sq ft….that’d be a major pain with a high price.
No. This is not your machine for that much removal
@@EngineerPEretired could you suggest a machine or method please.
Either an engineer inspects the break before any reconstruction work OR once it is finished.....in the midst of work?...for sure you are going to find ALL sorts of faults🫏🦥
I will be inspecting as this job advances; I'll do updates.
If you Google the MSDS for Super UDT2 you will find that it is manufactured by Valvoline!
Product totally sucks. No working time. Goes off too fast
Inhibitors do exist and using cold water will help also...
Colleague who builds houses in New England said the housing market is slowing down hard. Are you seeing the same in Phili?
Bc of high interest rates and lateral move will cost the seller more juice 🥤 and not worth the squeeze 😕
@@EngineerPEretired He said nobody wants to leave their 4% mortgages. Plus monthly payments here have doubled in 2 years (higher interest rates & higher home prices). Disaster.
Yes there’s an opening there at 10:51
Your videos are honestly incredibly informative and helpful.
Thanks!
You bet!
Bro, just tell me how to get it out! WTF. 🙄
You are screwed... both pieces are useless and anyway from cutting to drilling or even torth.
How did you get inrush on the cl800?
Yes.
Great, thorough explanation, high side!
Can I just use gorilla glue?
Sure, they are the same.. 😂
Hi sir, is it possible to get 3cm depth using a scarifier machine?
NO WAY should you attempt to rip off 1 inch of concrete... you have highway machines that can take millings off at that lift... so, u are stuck doing it in lifts to get to your elevation u want
I had 2 different 5 gallon buckets that I've been yanking on and pounding on for days. 2 minutes with a big screw driver and apart they came. Great simple suggestion.
Great video. Helped me make up my mind on oils for my Kubota tractor, utv, zero turn. Thank you
Make sure it has some rust inhibitor in your choice - my recommendation
need to rent. It is just me to load unload. Called the rental place guy did not know anything, was no help for this question: Does it have a drive wheel for loading it by driving it up ramps into my pickup? .
No drive, just push or two man lift
Can I use acrylic paint to mix it?
did you use something on the foam or directly smacked the plaster on it
Do the columns need to be cemented into this ground?
Yes, it does need to be anchored to the subgrade and this can be done via my technic or via a footer.
this is a potential meme
He says alot of funny things
Hello Grubb, glad to see you are doing well. Keep it up!
looks good to me.
I find it hard to believe that the exterior wall is not tied every seventh course with a header. Maybe there was some other way to tie it but i am unaware. That front wall is failing and is going to fail. My guess this was an abandoned house that suffered water infiltration, some fly by night developer bought the property, fixed it up by less than standard methods. They then put it on the market and sold it. My comment regarding less than standard refers to what was done in the basement to the exterior wall. Terrible workmanship that hurts the home owner.
The cyanide might mix with iron oxide and turn a very deep blue. "Prussian Blue" or ferracyanide. Handling looks scary but once combined onto the surface it's harmless. It's like it turns the rust into paint. Don't take my word for it though. Check this out and see. Thanks. Good good post on rust.
How does a concrete saw like this cost nearly twice as much as an entry-level KIA?
