The antique birthing table recycled with a reclaimed wood top is terrific. I thought it was an antique operating room table so I was close in identifying it. I think my favorite piece was the beautiful brass watering can with the silk sunflowers in it, truly lovely but a little too pricy for me! Thank you for the Round Top tour of this shop, it was a very enjoyable video.
I am drooling over all the beautiful COPPER!!!! One day I will have a huge French copper centerpiece🥰 I have been blessed with finding several old rugs this year, I think I am becoming addicted!!!!
Thank you for taking us along to this fantastic shop. I always look forward to Sunday's knowing you will showcase unique antiques and shops we might not be able to visit for ourselves. As always you inspire us in ways to elevate our every day. Thank you Mary Beth
Love the art deco items and yes, it would be at home on Poirot set.❤ The Sitz bath for hemmorrroid sufferers, for the fellow who had everything and a bad diet. I have seen them in old house tours, along with those old steam cabinets, it was good to be a tycoon.😂 The recycled pieces would fit well with the steam punk look. Thank you, great looks.
The material on that settee is gorgeous! I wish I could find a few yards of that. So many uses for that size of seating. I’d love to showcase that right by my entry, it’s great for a transitional home. The wall of hancrafted mirrors along with those blue velvet accent chairs is also stunning. I would have never ever guessed that to a birthing table!! 😅 Always enjoy all your great finds, have a fantastic week, Lady Mary Beth! I’ve made Bluebird a weekly stop, just love that place.
Hi LMB, hope you are doing great! I was watching some of your other videos and oh my the kitty who goes to the tea party, THE CUTEST!!!! you could make this into a kitty video and make a lot of money with it and get a lot of views!
Lots of beautiful true (old) antiques! But omg the prices are insane 😳 I think this industry needs to pivot considerably because younger folks (under 40) can't afford this type of stuff. And a lot of older folks can't either, anymore. So who will be left to pay $700 for a decorative watering can? That was crazy, btw.
Such quality. I would grab all the white stoneware, all of those leather chairs and (no surprise) all the deco bar ware. I have a deco cocktail shaker I found when we lived in Montréal. Drinkers loved that city during prohibition x
Did they let you in early before the customers came? I can see why the venue would let you in there to film; you do a spectacular job of showcasing the items! I think I have been ruined by shopping in thrift stores though. I know these items are valuable but I’ve gotten used to bargain pricing so some of those prices were shocking 😂 thanks for sharing
They are open Wednesday-Sunday, and I filmed when they opened Wednesday. It was a quiet day and I worked around customers. It’s a great shopping resource for interior designers and shoppers. We can learn about these antique treasures to better discover hidden gems while thrifting.
Are your Roundtop Antiques & Show Guide Maps for sale? If so, where can I purchase it? It would be so helpful as I’m out of state and have never been to The show! Can’t wait to come…
