I suggest you power on the drone while it's sitting on a relatively flat surface rather than your hand. It calibrates the gyros and compass when it powers on and this can throw off the calibration. With a Mini it would be fine but this is an expensive bit of kit. Happy flying brother!

We all wish we had 2500 bucks to spend on this drone. DJI leads, and will always lead! I got the Mini 3 pro, pretty good, and a literal upgrade compared to the Mini 2 series.
Due to how DJI dones props are mounted they can't actually hit each other to do damage. Also even if you aline them they will still lag behind due to the sudden acceleration.

Normally you should put it on a flat surface. However in that case it was working without issues.

I have the mavic 3 classic. Honestly, if I could go back I’d get the mini 4 pro instead. Unless u r a media creator or whatever, the mini is perfect.

Air 3 lacks camera quality over the Mavic 3 pro. But the difference is negligible. The battery isn't however.
I don’t quite see the point of the Mavic 3 because the DJI mini 4K has a better battery life and has a 4K photo camera
