You should react to basically every song on this concert. It's about the best concert ever. I think you'd love HIgh Hopes.
This a hundred times, seeing it from the beginning makes the encore (Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb and Run Like Hell) so much more powerful than they already are!
Sorrow especially. Epic guitar tones that you won't hear anywhere else.
High Hopes is my favourite. I don’t know if you have caught it but David Gilmour did a concert at the Royal Albert Hall a few years back and his version of High Hopes in that concert was sublime. It has an extended acoustic solo at the end which is so beautiful it never fails to make me tear up.
INXS - Live Baby Live is another one of those incredible concerts worth watching.
Sorrow, Coming Back to Life and One of These Days are also some of my favourites from this concert. Well all of it TBH 😎
A Pink Floyd concert is so much more than their music. They put on the most extravagant productions ever seen.
There will never be another band like them. They broke the mold.
The audience definitely got their money's worth. Every song , Every song. Masterclass Professional's. Worldwide legends.
This is without a doubt the greatest finale to any concert by anyone ever !
Great opener, not closer
@@HBC423 No they open with Shine On You Crazy Diamond and close with this.
Watch the end for David Gilmore “Live in Pompeii” (2016). The whole band wore shades.
@@roymeryman8098 "GILMOUR"
@@HBC423 not this tour, it was the closer
I am an old man now……and I just love seeing young people like yourself, who are discovering Pink Floyd and all the other fantastic music that I grew up listening to. Unfortunately, a lot of todays music is just terrible, with computer generated music and voices that sound more like robots than humans. A lot of acts today can’t even play an instrument or sing that well. I love your passion and emotion for good music……and “hello” from New Brunswick 🇨🇦
Then they will hear “in the flesh” lyrics the n be cancelled
what the hell im from nb too
I saw this tour at RFK Stadium in Washington DC. This was 1994 and it's still the best show I've ever seen.
Every time I see these videos it brings back memories of that concert. What a night.
I saw the Pulse concert in Raleigh, NC. 3rd row center stage. Best concert I’ve ever seen.
VERDY another great reaction. Enjoy seeing you get into videos with your big smile, air guitar, and air drums! You really like both the video and the music. Continue to explore Pink Floyd and other great classic bands. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
You smiled through the whole song. Mission accomplished.
I was one of the lucky one in the audience. That is how you end a concert.
I am lucky enough to say "I was there" it was soooooo amazing, I went four times 😊 I have loved PF since 9yrs old ❤
This concert, "Pulse", is for sure one of the greatest concerts ever...and I mean from beginning to end. Now you know why I have loved the Floyd since its inception. Thank you so much for your reaction. Nice to see a young woman appreciate great music.
I saw Pink Floyd live in New Jersey in 1994. What a show it was... and Run Like Hell... what a show ender. I left the Giants Stadium lightheaded. I am truly sorry you did not see them live. It was the experience of a light time. As you talk about the music, the light show watching a small screen, being there in person is or rather was out of this world. Twenty-eight years later I still feel chills all over when I see or hear songs from this tour.
It's great watching you enjoy the music I grew up with. Great to see you. Best wishes♥♥
Saw this concert at the Oakland Coliseum.
When the lasers went off at the beginning, they shot up into the night sky.
So stunning to watch.
Love your reactions to my generations mega group concerts. Had to be there to witness the special spectacles!!!
It is so good to find a new generation of young people enjoying one of the greatest bands ever in the history of rock music. The album Dark Side of the Moon released in 1973 spent a staggering fourteen years in the Billboard Album Chart and is played in its entirety in this concert with probably the best version of Money I have ever heard. 9:42
Pink Floyd is Music from another Level. A Benchmark for all other Bands. Who ever has seen a Pink Floyd Concert knows what i mean. Pink Floyd is the measure of all things. Musically and in terms of the show. I have seen them three times, David Gilmour twice and Nick Mason once. But the Division Bell tour was just awesome. Moments in my life that I will never forget.
Lucky. I saw Phil lesh, Australian Floyd etc but I’m gonna miss out on so many good artists because I was too young.
I absolutely enjoy watching some young reactors who really appreciate all that PF has given us, and you are easily in the top 3!
Thank you so much for sharing these special moments with all of us.
Love from Mexico,
El Charlie
20k crowd at Earls Court London
14 nights I believe
I was at the show in Earls Court the night after this recording. The was the 3rd encore and closing number of an absolutely brilliant show.
Dear young lady ... you make me happy ! I'm listening to Pink Floyd for over 50 years now and still get goosebumps every time I listen to whatever song of PF ... You too - as young as you are - should listen to all their music and let your heart be filled with joy ! Read their history and experience whatever David, Richard, Roger and Nick shared to the world ! I promise you you will have many goosebumps again ! With kind regards and love from The Netherlands.
🤟 much love for this comment. I thank your generation for keeping music alive for mine to experience
My friend Durga McBroom on backing vocals was with Pink Floyd for years. She and her sister Lorelei have an album out this year called Black Floyd. I will plug it shamelessly. The McBroom sisters can sing the stripes off a zebra.
I don't suppose she was at that concert (I was there)
But if she was I have great respect
Definitely going to check her out
Keep on plugging
She was singing at that concert.
@@tobytanzer shes a great singer for sure, was awesome for floyd.🤗🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍👍
Durga is amazing! The video doesn't focus much on the background singers, but I saw this concert twice that year, and live, they brought so much to the show.
@@genegiusti6239 now you are showing off Gene seeing it twice
(lm just jealous)
I arrived on the opening night and that's when half of the seats collapsed so they sent us home
They had to add another date at the end of the run especially for us
So I suppose you could say I went there twice too
Still gives me chills and a great big smile on my face every time I watch it and that's after 28 years
I attend this tour in '94, I was 18 years old. Best concert ever... I couldn't believe it, I wouldn't have dream to see them live once, but when they announced it, it was exciting. I had listen intensively to them since I was 13. It was in Bordeaux, France, in an open place outdoor (place des quinconces...), in the center of the town, just close to the Garonne river... People were watching from their windows around the concert, but couldn't appreciate the "surround" sound with quadriphonic as we did in the crowd.
Fortunate to be at this concert, i can say that it was the most magnificent concert i have ever seen. A lifetime dream of mine actually happened, to see Pink Floyd live. Growing up in the 70's & passionate about this group, it was a big highlight of my life & it has to be one of the greatest concerts of all time. ❤🙂🇬🇧
You need to watch that entire concert!
Hi Birdie channel thanks for your reaction love them I was at that tour in 1994 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California my first concert clean and sober I’m 27 years of sobriety now saw them in 1977 the animals tour at Anaheim stadium it had just stopped raining then there was a double rainbow and then they came on stage like they planned it or something…they’re like a band that tours other solar systems!🌈🪐💫⚡️🎵🤪😘
15,000+ crowd at Earl's Court, and they played there for 15 consecutive nights. This tour played to 5.5 million people in 68 cities; each concert gathered an average 45,000 audience........
Yes, you're right, it's a huge crowd. And it was a huge crowd for 14 NIGHTS IN A ROW!
Believe me when I say this, I saw Pink Floyd in 1994 on this tour here in New Orleans, LA, and it was more than incredible - it was totally mind-blowing. That was the BEST concert experience I've ever had, and that is going some when you consider all of the concerts I've been to and artists I've seen perform live beginning with Elvis Presley in Las Vegas in 1969. I had goosebumps for days following that concert.
I know what you mean. I saw this show on a Thursday night at Foxboro Stadium in MA. They added a third show for Saturday night. After seeing the Thursday show I went and bought tickets for Saturday, I just had to see it again. When they came back around again for Delicate Sound of Thunder I just bought tickets for both shows. I didn't bother waiting!
GORGEOUS REACTION
Comfortably Numb was done as an encore. Then they did this!!!
Great reaction 🎉❤
Along with my brothers, I saw this show in Pittsburgh. Since it was in 3 Rivers Stadium, air traffic to the airport had to be rerouted around the city to avoid the lasers. I remember going crazy in anticipation when David toyed with the audience at the beginning of this song. We all knew what song was coming up, we couldn't wait to hear it, but internally we were all a bit sad because we knew it was the end of the show. Another favorite of mine from this show is an instrumental piece, although they do say the full title of the song in the middle. The song was "One of These Days (I'm going to cut you into little pieces)". When thinking about that song, all I can say is "PIGS"!
Verdy, love your reaction to this, and your appreciation for Pink Floyd!! You commented it was a lot of people. It was! I saw them on this Pulse tour in San Antonio, Texas, and it was with 47,000 fans! "Run Like Hell" was the encore to end the show!!
Love seeing your reaction to this amazing piece of music! Exactly what I am feeling watching in concert. David Gilmour is a master. Rest In Peace Richard and Nick.
...Nick is still with us, and sometimes tours with his band titled "A Saucer Full of Secrets ".
What a session with Rick Wright, RIP Mr. Wright!!
Gotta watch Comfortably Numb off this concert DVD. I guarantee you, your emotional level will double or triple, especially with Gilmores legendary ending solo.
I believe she did. In fact, I think it was the first Pink Floyd reaction video she shared with us.
@@waynemarvin5661 ok, my bad...just watching this channel for the first time!
Count me as another who loves to see new people enjoy this concert. I was at the show in the New Orleans Superdome for this tour that summer of '94. Problem was, our seats were in the upper level near the ceiling on the left side (looking at the stage, we were near the upper left side bank of surround speakers), so it was hard to see much of what was projected on the circle screen above the stage. Still a great show. I bought the laserdisc release of Pulse and could finally see what was projected on that screen - when something was actually projected for certain songs, and not just part of the light show.
Great band, great concert, great song, great reaction, great reactor!! What else could we want???? Thanks for another great example of your appreciation of music, Verdy!
Another commenter here (Seth Johnson) said you should just react to every song on this album. Seth is absolutely correct! 😁
The bass is fantastic in this performance!
I was there! I still get fingers running like hell up my back when I see and hearing this every time!
Absolutely gorgeous melody,,takes you on a musical journey from the start to the end , love that you enjoy it 😊
Hola. Felicidades muy buena elección. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
I'll always remember this song played at 1st Floyd Gig I went to @ Maine Road Manchester City's old ground 1987. I was stood about 40 yards away from stage on pitch when this song started and I'll always remember how they used the bank of lights loads of lightbulbs arranged into rows and sections of them then they kept spinning them and stopping and starting them in time to the rhythms in the song speeding lights up till they were spinning like the running rhythm of song till they were spinning like crazy.Very memorable
I was there in '94 three nights after this was filmed. It remains the greatest concert I have ever been to - and I've been to a lot! Btw if you heard the explosion at the end live there was no question of there being any more! I don't know how they were allowed to do it - the whole building shook for several seconds!
yes barry i was there aswell i remember the brief silence of a few seconds before the applause the sound of the bang was so loud
I saw them live in Toronto back in the 90s and when this song came on my best friend ran right out of the stadium. Rip Bobo
Best live show on earth
Yes that was the encore. To be there was a once in a lifetime experience!!! So glad this was recorded so it could be shared with those that couldn't be there.
@1:00 When a guitarist puts his/her hand across the strings to deaden the sound, that is called a “Palm Mute”.
I discovered PF in 1973 at the age of 9. Saw them a couple of times and figured I'd never get to see them perform Dark Side live. That was until I saw this tour at the age of 30. When I realized they were doing DSOTM in its entirety as the 2nd half of the concert, yeah, I teared up. A bucket list item I always figured was out of reach.
I have seen Pink Floyd many times. They perform flawlessly in every show. The thing I liked best about their shows... Look at the crowd. There is NO "Mash Pit" nobody is pushing or shoving. Everybody is just watching with amazement. Very enjoyable.
Saw Gilmore do this live at the RAH - what a show. Not a dry eye in the house.
I also saw Water's in his Wall concert at Wembley, and just a couple of months ago in Birmingham. I can now die happy.
I was fortunate to see this tour in DC in '94. Love the videos, but live? A different level of awesome. I enjoy your videos and am happy you are experiencing music I grew up with and spent my stoner years enjoying live whenever possible. Cheers....
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Floyd back in 1988 @ the horseshoe in Columbus, Oh. It was an awesome show. One of the best concerts I have ever experienced.
On many of their tours (like this one) they ended the concert with Run like hell.
Recorded at Earls Court about a week before I saw them at that venue. The last Floyd gig I ever attended.
You’re such a great reviewer /. reactor, Verdy !
I saw this concert twice, [in Winnipeg July 1 1994, then 1 week later, July 7 in Toronto], their shows are magical!
You are 100% correct - the journey is amazing, the emotions are enough to keep even the most cynical old heart like mine beating. Keep going verdy, we love seeing you react.
She gets it
Watching a recording of a concert is one thing, being there is another level of experience and you can 'feel' the gig inside you. I was there and it was the greatest gig I ever went to!
It had been an amazing concert all the way through and when they finally played this the combination of sounds and light were like sensory overload and took us all to another plane of rapture. Astonishing concert and an eternal memory for those of us lucky enough to be present at one of the shows. Great news is however that they captured the essence of it on video for posterity and once you have had the chance to react to a few of the songs i cannot recommend strongly enough buying the video and listening to the concert from start to finish on the biggest screen you can find and the volume turned up to 11.
I'm an old dude. I went to 2 Pink Floyd concerts and the entire show was magic. 1978 Animals tour was the best show ever out of all the shows l have seen. Back then everyone was touring. It could be anyone.
I saw the show 2 nights in a row in Oakland, CA. They opened with Astronomy Domine......played all sorts of stuff.....played all of their latest album ( 'The Division Bell' ).......played MORE random stuff...& I believe they took a brief time out. Then they played ALL of 'Dark Side of the Moon'...in its entirety.....so by now you're in the zone....& we got Comfortably Numb as an encore....& finally Run Like Hell.
The greatest finale to the greatest concert by the greatest band ever!!!
I saw this in Philly, what a great performance of a great song.Thank you for doing this one! Have a great weekend
I can’t explain why it brings me so much joy to see someone experience Pink Floyd. Been listening since I was like 10 years old if I were to list top bands to ever exist Floyd would always be top 3 for me.
Love your reactions to this song …both are unique ❤
I first started to listen to pink floyd when i was 14 im now 64 they never disapoint. The first album i ever bought was dark side of the moon. I still get emotionally charged when i hear their music. Love watching your reaction to their music keep up the good work
This was the encore. Comfortably was the closing number and after seeing that, one would wonder how can they follow that? Pink Floyd: "hold my beer and watch".
I love your visual editing! Far better than blurring out the video 😍
There's Pink Floyds music Verdy, and then there's a Pink Floyd light show. Put the two together and they just take you to another dimension. Brilliant.
A whole lot more Pink Floyd to see! I would like to see something from obscured by clouds at some point as nobody seems to cover this album.
I saw pink Floyd at the Olympic stadium in Montreal in the late 70s. I think there were around 80000 people. Incredible!!!! 🙂
I was 31 Years Old when I seen that Concert and every time I hear a song from that Concert I try to remember the Light Show. Best Concert of my life over 150 Thousand People Easy Probably closer to 200 Thousand People. Because the College Students were buying all the ticket stubs and selling them outside for who knows how much, maybe someone in the comments might say how much they paid. Great Reaction great to feel young again.
It's been pretty cool seeing you become a Hardcore Pink Floyd fan. From first time hearing to big fan. Great videos!
Just watching your reaction gives me hope for the next generation 👍👍
There is nothing like a PF. Or Yesshow, completely different but the absolute BEST!! Emotional yep!
You really should react to this concert! It's incredible!
I took my son to this concert for his 16th birthday, he is in his 40s now it was in Madison WI. it poured rain and lightning along with the laser show was incredible
That big big crowd you noticed sold out 15 nights in a row at Earl's Court in London! I've seen Pink Floyd four times in three different decades including this Pulse Concert in 94, twice in the 70's and once in 87 and I've seen about 100 concerts in my lifetime but never seen a better concert than Floyd!! Could be why they sold out 15 nights in a row? Their shows really are second to none! Keep on digging!
I was there and it was the best concert ever. No stereo is able to do it justice though as they played their music through a stadium sized quadraphonic sound system.
I wasn't at this show but I saw them on the Division Bell tour. Still the best concert l ever saw.
The Pulse concerts took place over, I think, fifteen nights at London's Earl's Court. As I just lived over the road at the time, I went to five of them. I've also seen The Floyd in Manchester, in Munich and in Barcelona. In my younger day's I also saw live, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Genesis and a whole lot more. For me there is no doubt, the best live band, ever, was Pink Floyd. Quite simply when you saw Pink Floyd you were getting classic song after classic song, delivered on the best sound system that was available at that time and of course the light show which was stunning. I'm certainly going to miss them in the future but non the less I have many happy memories.
Verdy Girl, you make me happy just watching you, watching this.
This is great to listen to while driving on the expressway
Verdy you are a Amazing and Beautiful and Joyful and unique person keep on being yourself.❤️✌️😊💐👍👍
Just sat through Dark Side with you and I cried... Thank you, I'm saaaacribing... Have an excellent day!!!
🙂🙂🙂
Love seeing young adults enjoying this unbelievable music. This was the third encore, after the triumph of Gilmour’s unbelievable solo on Comfortably Numb, still rounds the show off with this tour de force.
Everything Pink Floyd is awesome.
That was nice to see you having that fun!!!!
"SORROW" from this same concert !!! 👍🤯🌋
oooo oooo gotta watch this one . this is my fav floyd song lol .
If I remember correctly, there were thousands of varilights, and they had the most expensive staging ever 'till that time (1994). Way far expensive from any other. About 75 million U$D.
This was the finale. It left you on such a high that everyone just floated out of the stadium/arena. No fights in the parking lot on the way home. Everyone new that we all had just experienced a once in a lifetime event.
2:10 that insertion of the melody to Vera’s ‘don’t know where, don’t know when but I know we’ll meet again’ was brilliant
As you journey through many of the songs from this most incredible concert you will begin to appreciate that PF concerts were equal parts excellence in "Sound & Vision". And eventually you will come upon "Creme de la Creme" or "Piece de Resistance" in the Pink Floyd catalog of once in a lifetime song performances Comfortably Numb. Quite possibly one of the best ever live performances and arguably the best guitar solo in the history of music......
Allez, j'ai moi aussi encore versé ma petite larme. Je ne peux que conseiller à chaque être humain de voir ce concert une fois dans sa vie. Un moment de pur bonheur! 💗
I love the guitar in " learning to fly" PULSE concert remastered, the drums are pretty cool too 😏
