Not the best time in my life, but here I still am.

I've said it before and I'll say it many more times after this, I miss the days when rock and metal acts could have a track in the Top 10 (or Top 20) and it wouldn't be considered a big deal.

I was only a child in the 90s, but I'd take those times over now. Today is worse. Plus we had all these great songs back then.

Best song in this chart is from Mike Oldfield and that was from 1983 😮

Hard to believe this was 30 years ago. Seems like yesterday! I echo that the world was saner then. Starts off with a flyer as well with Nirvana. Shame Kurt Cobain sadly was no longer of this world some months later. Good time for rock and R&B. I believe that was Kate Bush's last single for a while. Used to think RuPaul was a woman then 😂 Eurodance had made it's mark then. I dont think Id want to hear that FKW cover again. September is a duff month, but October....all guns blazing! Bill 😂😂 At least he got a top 75 chart place on his C.V.
My top favourite is the amazing 'I Will Do Anything For Love (but won't do that)' by Meatloaf. My Dad would play 'Bat Out of Hell 2' endlessly. Such a great powerful rock ballad. Timeless hit. Shame he isnt no longer with us. I also love the songs from Nirvana, Iron Maiden, Eternal (God I love those girls), Bjork, Dina Caroll, Chaka Demus and Pliers, Salt and Pepa, En Vogue, Take That, W.A.S.P, 10000 Maniacs, Zhane, M People, Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Aerosmith (my Dad liked the girls in the video) and the underrated Cilla & Dusty duet. Plus others. Thank you as always Francis 👍 May you he blessed.

James & Texas 2 incredible songs that should have been bigger hits. Texas' "Ricks Road" album is still in my top 10 favourite albums of all time. + Shara Nelson, "What Silence Knows" is still a beautiful album.
