I got started with one of your tutorials. But I had trouble figuring out the tools and shortcuts in Blender, since I knew nothing. I gave up for about 6 months and now I am back to give it another go. I love the stuff you create. This would be perfect for modelling robots and spaceships.

Hey you can select boundary loop by pressing Shift+2 with smart edge when in face select mode I guess maybe wrong just way faster then Shift ~

Pretty cool tutorial, thanks!. I do admit I had a bit of trouble at times understanding what you were saying as sometimes it comes off as a bit mumbled and fast spoken. I found myself having to pause and rewind quite a lot to understand what you said, and there were a couple of times I had to use the youtube shortcuts to go through the video frame by frame just so I could see exactly what menu item you clicked, as you went through some of them pretty fast.
I'm sure as I get better at blender I'll understand these things a bit easier and intuitively know what it is you are clicking etc, but might be worth slowing down just a tiny bit when going through menu's etc, especially for the tutorials aimed at beginners.
That being said, can't wait to try the next one, thankyou!.

@@PonteRyuuruihe shouldn’t have to use a beginners course, you should accept criticism and work on your articulation, so many other people struggle hearing you because you rush and mumble but you don’t want to hear that so they don’t say.
It really worked for me after I look and try some tutorials, yours is the one that worked. Owe you a lot.

update the blender and the addon, also make sure that you work on a full clean edge loop

at the fisrt time, i cant find the last shortcut so i couldn't do it in blender, pls tell me where i could found it ??
So this solidifies me wanting to learn Blender, right now I'm working with Maya and Substance to do what you just did with Blender, this is awesome. My quesiton, WHY are there no UV's required though? If you were to take this into something like Unreal Engine or use it as an asset for something, do you still not need UVs?
this is not a game asset, for ga you d need mid poly bevels and more tris count control, but the workflow would be the same, just need UVs
@Agape sure is, you just need to install an addon called Blender
@Agape what i can understand is why ppl still use maya knowing this, but i guess there are things in Blender that are easier in maya
