    Tropicana stadium owners and the Florida Governor was sold a “Pig in a Poke” when the roof salesman said the fiberglass roof could withstand a hurricane force wind.

      the only one's there were first responders they stayed there just in case they were called after the hurricane. thankfully some areas of the stadium have a roof.

    Weak stadium roof , that's what happens when you build on the cheap

    Explain to me how they were claiming Milton was a Category 3 storm with SUSTAINED winds of 125 mph, yet the top gust actually recorded was only 101 mph. Are they measuring those sustained wind speeds in the stratosphere or something?!?

    well now its a good time to give the rays a new stadium. preferably near Miami or near disney there is a lot of terrain near by.

    How many more 100-year events that happen twice in 5 years before FL is uninhabitable?

    • @derrickrr5516
      @derrickrr5516 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      It’s not uninhabitable. Building practices need to be changed and there always needs to be a level of acceptance that you can lose your property and you may have to evacuate in order to survive some storms. Turning the entire Gulf of Mexico into a Nation Park isn’t the answer.

      By that, I mean that the expectation of losing your home to a hurricane every 5 years will make insurance (rates) impossible and, unless building codes prevent 10-15 foot surges from flooding out your entire home, who wants to live like that?
