About Young Sheldon:
It’s 1989 and 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper has skipped four grades to start high school along with his less-intellectual older brother. As he struggles to be understood by his family, classmates and neighbors, his mother arms him with the best tool she can come up with: reminding bullies his dad is the football coach and his brother is on the team. His twin sister doesn’t share his exceptional mind, but she has a much clearer vision of what life has in store for the young genius.

Don't forget that this was literally mid-Cold War 💀💀💀
I think the best thing about this game for the first time
@@abbyrundle5574tf are you on about bro
I have no idea 🤷♀️ why this happened but this one is a little uncomfortable 😳 I’m not going anywhere I’m going nowhere with it and I’m not going anywhere I don’t know 🤔 maybe 🤔 I’m just scared 😦 for my safety and my health if it happens again or not but I’m scared 😟 I don’t know 🤷♀️
I’m pretty sure this was around 1989, so nearing the end of the Cold War.
Literal end of cold war
After that scene the family started panicking running around looking for their American flags to hang outside...😅😅😅
That was hilarious!!! 😂😂😂
It made Meemaw look more suspicious
Was Sheldon Cooper real
The " Hang on a second😨😨!!"
Heck yes funny af
The family's reactions and attempts to walk back the situation are just about the funniest scenes in the series. I busted out laughing every time it showed Meemaw dancing and singing to the Great American Songbook and even Sheldon seemed to understand that it was non-negotiable that he had to withdraw his statements out of plain need to survive. I also love how none of them realize how bad it is until it's too late. Mary is so proud of him acting almost like a normal kid and making what appears to be a silly complaint and George can just tell this isn't good but can't put his finger on it until the end.
Dafaq...she literally fed that boy her agendas for spicing up her news rating...
Naive as he is Sheldon got baited
NO-
Even afterwards though Sheldon seems rather dumb for not realizing what communism really is or entails. I mean, when he's supposed to realize he was naive and was wrong in that interview, he still went ahead and talked to times magazine and extolled communism naively. For a smart kid, he acted very dumb
@str2010 im guessing that you don't know the definition of communism or how fdr had socialism, communism, and capitalism work hand in hand to prevent one from corrupting the other.
That's a time tested method
Don't liek message, attack the messenger
@@str2010 bro quick question. What Sheldon said. Was he wrong? You Don't think Americans should have a say in how stuff is made?
*”Oh, dear God”* 💀🤣 George
He was actually advocating for a more free market solution before the woman shoehorned in centralisation.
no genius would suggest a free market solution, that’s for morons and grifters.
Are you dense?
"This wouldn't happen if there were centralized control"
Our society has just conveniently decided that free markets only apply to the shareholders and CEOs of multibillion dollar corporations, and not to the workers, consumers and small businesses.
Workers? Workers don’t have to accept jobs! If they feel the contract they are signing is giving them a low salary, they can find another business who will pay them them more. Companies are always competing over medium and high skilled workers.
@@Alex-pl3jpEh. You can successfully run a private business while being decent to employees, especially highly qualified employees on the upper levels. It works out well as long as it is balanced with discipline, because well treated workers have better morale. I like the model of worker cooperatives, which is often highly skilled people having a say in how things are managed. I would want valued employees of a company I start to hold shares. I am not fond of Marxism or too much state control though, I want quite literally for stakeholders of a business including customers and employees having a say. Example: viewers of media should be listened to, instead of being told to watch "or else", She Hulk and Rings of Power comes to mind. I guarantee you would also not like a poor service or bad food, and you should have a say on improving quality and giving customers what they, what you, want. Get my point?
@@Alex-pl3jpWorkers are scientists and CEOs. You know that, right? A worker does not need to accept a job, but it may be the company's loss. If you abuse talent, I can steal that talent from you, so by disregarding employees you are sabotaging yourself and benefitting competitors. You really should comprehend this.
@@SéaFid I think he does, and you two are just talking past each other. Your optimal business appears on its surface to be a good idea, id support it, but it's not going to work for every industry and many workers don't want to be on the hook for losses. Manufacturing is a good example, it takes millions to set up a factory nowadays, are the workers going to take lower pay until the equipment is paid off? Some might, but many won't. That's why the investor gets the profit.
@@Alex-pl3jpwhat is it like to have subhuman intelligence and to lick the boots of your oppressors?
No comrade Sheldon was suggesting a well regulated market. He never said anything about all the rest.
Yes, Comrade. I spoke to Comrade Cooper about this matter myself. You are correct.
Well regulated markets almost certainly never works well for the country economically speaking.
@@shevthegreb757 well it works fantastic till some american billionaire tanks your economy for cheap minerals.

The most hilarious episode of Young Sheldon 🤣🤣
For me it's when they talked about parallel universe 😂
Loves how no-one has issues with corporate compromising on quality
It still happens to this day
Sheldon would get executed if he weren't lucky. Then there wouldn't be big bang theory and young Sheldon S2 episode 16 will be the latest episode. And young Sheldon wouldn't have a narator.
He wouldn’t get executed, he would just been socially blacklisted
@@FFFDATC He's a kid bruh no one would care.
Sheldon just wanted better bread
It's not Sheldon's fault, he got baited
Sheldon just wanted better bread. The stupid reporter made up the Communism mess!🤬
no, communism is the answer, dummy.
He never could read the room very well.
Well, he is…. Autistic. Its the perfect touch.
It’s funny because corporate greed is a problem, but this boy doesn’t know how news outlets like to twist up words😂
Sheldon only wanted regulations
Communism
@@Beriothien007 regulations are everywhere
@@Beriothien007 sort of socialism. Or at least, welfare capitalism
Regulations go against free market, which is a form of left policy, and considering this was in the 80s makes sense they would associate to Communism
Not them cutting out the lady saying “hold on a second”
Meemaw waving her flag on the lawn and singing patriotic songs was my highlight of this episode
Big corporations shouldn't make these decisions on their own. They should be FORCED to get approval from their customers and provide them with a complete ingredient list and a detailed description of the manufacturing process
If George was going to have a heart attack, that this would’ve been the moment, he would’ve had it oh the things George put up with from that kid. George was actually a very patient and tolerant man towards Sheldon especially when you consider what a ginormous pain in the ass Sheldon was. And George did not have to put up with it. He could’ve at any moment put the fear of God into that boy, just like all of our fathers did to us at some point when we tested their patience once too often. Growing up, Sheldon never learned that his words and actions come with consequences because he never faced any partially because his overbearing control Freak mother never wanted to see him upset therefore never discipline him no matter what stunt he pulled, so Sheldon grew up, thinking if he thought it was a good idea, it therefore must be and any random impulse or inclination that ran through his head was acting upon without consideration for the effects it would have on those around him
His idea here ain't bad tho
It’s just a show calm down 😂
@@JuanMata-ix5qr Be that as it may I think my points are still valid
If you follow his logic, it immediately contradicts. He says the people, individuals, should have a say in what buisnesses do. But then goes to say that buisnesses should actually be centralized. People already have a say, in terms of boycotts, selective purchasing, creating alternatives, etc. Centralization would literally be a select group of peoppe deciding what a buisness does.
Communism is what Texas needs 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Funny thing is that Sheldon didn't propose anything the Federal government hadn't already done by that point.
Redditor's would LOOOOOOVE this!!!
What “super intelligent” Sheldon doesn’t understand is that the people do make that decision for the company when they choose whether to purchase their goods.
Do they? What option Sheldon had then?
@@filipmaly6603 yeah. That’s how capitalism works. You vote with your money. Sheldon’s options are to either accept that people want the product or to convince them not to want it
@@benjaminmee3751 So what other bread taste like Sheldons old bread?
@@filipmaly6603 who cares. It’s irrelevant.
@@benjaminmee3751 According your claims Sheldon can chose by his wallet. Demonstrate it then.
What episode is this?
The moment Sheldon’s big mouth put his family at risk
He was cooking until he said "centralized control"
This episode is supposed to be set in 1984/85 and the Cold War didn’t end until 1991
It's funny because the people who eat the bread get no say if there's centralized control.
I'm not saying it's directly Me Maw's fault, who am I kidding I am saying that. She's known her Grandson long enough to know him voicing his opinions will lead to nothing but trouble.
Why do Americans make such a big deal out of communism?
For the same reason that they are religious zealots. Ignorance and thought control.
Because communism is the worst form of government it has ever existed including fascism, and if you disagree I would love for you look at it for yourself in cuba, Venezuela, or Vietnam.
@@sitla9118 So saying "i support communism" on tv is just as bad as if someone for example said "i support Nazism." ?
Whoever defends any of these two should give u a hint of what kind of person they are, Idk about you but i don't want to follow political ideologies that killed thousands of people and caused massive anti-sematic genocide and a massive murder of millions of people including the 22,000 officers killed in Katyn, so yeah...@@belgiumcomics2537

Will someome give me the context? Why suggestion communism is bad?
This takes place in the late Cold War. American foreign policy is focused on stopping Communist authoritarian states like the Soviets and P.R. China.
Because it's communist.
So you're telling you don't know what communism is?
Basically in communist form of government, corporations or private companies doesn't get to make decision like mention this video. Government controlls it. Government mostly own everything. North Korea is the best example of communist nation.
america is dumb as fuck.
