Wow awesome work on the lock i sent you bill. I am absolutely grinning from ear to ear. Even though I was kinda hoping for a whipped by. It has still made my day that you picked my challenge lock. Thank you. 😁😁😁😁👍👍
That was a really cool lock, I would love to see how it was made. Lock picking had started as just a small hobby for me but seeing all this amazing work from people is making me want to learn how to make my own locks. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Dark Arts, blown away by those pins, and the methodical placement of pins and the "alien tech"! I think you would have had a "whipped by", had Bill not been...well... Bill! He's a tough cookie! Excellent challenge lock!
The pin in pin stuff never ceases to amaze me. Nice picking! I'm surprised you didn't swap picks with everything binding up so much. It made ME nervous!
I was wondering, is it possible to pick the challenge locks with other tools like a bogata or rake or something? I've noticed you always SPP the challenge locks, unless that's just part of the challenge? Thanks!!
Don'z Lokz Too old maybe, but certainly not too wise as proven MANY times in hundreds of videos. As a note, many of the trickiest challenge locks and "Whipped" videos are from Aussie makers. You guys just have too much time on your hands....
Mini Sota He makes it look easy because he is very good at it. A lot of things are going on, that just can't be completely described. When picking a lock, It is easy to mess up tension, pick placement, picking pins out of sequence, pushing a pin too far up, not pushing a pin far enough up, wrong pick shape, wrong pick thickness, and even if you get all that right, there is still a chance of something tricky hiding in there like a check pin, or side bar. Security pins can make a difference in resistance to opening. You can open an easy lock, like a Master#3 with almost anything. You probably won't open a challenge lock with a pick made from a cat food lid. An expert at anything will make something difficult look easy.
Bill, maybe I'm missing something, but if the actuator has to come off anyways, every time, why isn't that the first step before clamping? Is it to show you haven't tampered with the lock? I've probably heard you say 100 times "the actuator is hitting the vise".
ezdankie so the whole core doesn't pull out when he is picking it. The screws on the back of the tailpiece or "actuator" holds the core in the lock body.

Thank you mate. I appreciate it. 👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘😁😁
Hi
idk idk G'day.
Sussscribed.
Speechless, those pins are just beautiful.
Awesome work on those pins. Very clean & professional looking cuts.
I especially liked the devious pin-in-pin with spools and serrations.

Very nice pins by Dark Arts and a very cool lock to put them into.

I love the shot of DJ Bosnianbill at the end credits. Everyone needs to do something different once and a while.
Nice job to the both of you
Jikes, those pin in pin with a combi of spool or serration, very very nice!
Very nice picking my friend Dark Arts did a great job on that lock😊👍😎😎
Great work from Dark Arts LP. I cant think of feedback to add, he did a nice job on that 570

Wow really great

We're a few weeks into Autumn here now Bill. But still botheringly hot some days! I really gotta pull my finger out and get my lock to you!
is there a reason you can not take off the actuator before you put the lock in the vice???
He put so much work into thoses pins i am in the facebook group he is.
He showed it off i was waiting to see you pick it.
Daniel Bear thank you mate. 😁👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘
what group?
How do you free up a lock with a stuck pin in the back?
I was wondering, is it possible to pick the challenge locks with other tools like a bogata or rake or something? I've noticed you always SPP the challenge locks, unless that's just part of the challenge? Thanks!!
Where can I buy this lock?
Sweet job from a fellow Aussie & buddy.👍🏽🇦🇺 I was hoping for a whip'd but Bill is too old and wise for alien Aussie trickery it seems!🤣🍺😎🇦🇺

Bosnianbill haha! Us old..ish folk atleast tend to use our brain more. :) Mr Dark Arts done well, only pretty new at it but he's a clever chap.
That was a tough one
How much is that pic, out of curiosity?
Where did you get your curved pointed tweezers????
Just standard pinning tweezers, available from all lock tool specialists.
Hey there, I was wondering if you could teach me how to pick a cars gas tank, they're generally opened from inside so a bit curious.
I watch all your videos but just never understand how any of this serration, spools etc make it any more effective, you just pick it so easily

I'm adding this channel to my list of strangely captivating content along with Steve1989's MRE reviews :) Fun stuff.
LOL that guy Steve he eats stuff from WWII.
Ok Ratyoke picks are pretty expensive. From what I saw on their page in the lower 3 digit dollar range. So it would hurt to scrap one.
