Hello kieran, i want to make a service or some tools as a software product, but i don't know how to get ideas for that, i can't really getup with some idea, please suggest some ways on how to get a great idea and be able to start working on it

Hey Alpine Lux, figuring out a great idea to pursue is one of the main reasons people fail to get into business. The best place to develop ideas is the painful problems and inconveniences you face in your daily life and work. For instance, maybe it's inefficiencies you see at work or tasks that take up a lot of your personal time. List these out in a notepad. Then, proceed to think about software products that you can develop to resolve the problems that you experience. The chances are that others face similar issues that you experience and would equally value a software product that you develop that addresses and resolves these problems. Good luck! @@KieranMoloney Thank you for advice, I have one more question, i have $1500 right now and i am alone for doing Saas business, i know about technical part and can make the product on my own, does it is necessary for me to have a partner to work with or it is good that i can start this whole journey alone till a certain point? ​@@alpinelux407 Having the skills to develop your SaaS product puts you in an excellent position. It will allow you to bring an MVP to life and get your first handful of customers. Not to mention potentially giving you the ability to raise further funding from outside investors. You do not need a partner right now to develop a product and gain some initial traction, I.e., your first dozen customers. A partner might even slow you down at this stage. What you do need is the knowledge and skill to acquire customers and realise consistent revenue growth, month over month.
