The reason no one can agree is because we need to start looking at the person instead of the remedy. Everyone is different. Until we all understand that, nobody will agree on anything.

So, about 3 months back I just finished a long course of Antibiotics and obviously that messed up my good bacteria in my gut. After just finishing the course I developed extreme muscle weakness, was out breath all the time and had pins and needles sensation in my nerves. I have been working out since 2011 and have done multiple marathons so never faced these issues previously. This issue just came overnight and I felt extremely heartbroken not knowing what happened to me. I went online did some research and came across potassium deficiency symptoms. I started consuming a lot of fresh coconut water and just in 2 days I was back to 100% and felt normal. I could run and lift again without any muscle ache and breathing got a lot better too. Honestly, no doctor could have easily found it so, sometime you have to do your own research and fix yourself. This video is really helpful to understand why my body was not absorbing Potassium. Please take care of your vitamins and minerals and stay healthy!

Just for example... 16 to 18 cups of cooked broccoli( 228 mg /8oz) daily would get you to about 4000 mg daily ( lower end of RDA). That would be about 8 to 9 pounds of broccoli daily if that's all you eat for potassium intake. There are others listed that are much higher like spinach and chard but are high in oxalic acid. Potato at 600mg would need about 3 pounds daily.

Most vegetables has substantial levels of potassium. I once concluded that if you eat 700 g of vegetables, you get enough of potassium.
That's pretty much of those, though. So I guess most of us get less than we need.
I use a "sodium reduced" salt, with 30 % potassium chloride, in an effort to balance sodium and potassium.
It's actually a mineral salt, and I think it tastes good. That don't give enough potassium, because I use to9 little salt. But I think it helps avoid sqewing the balance too much.

B1/thiamine can at the 300mg daily level completely reverse kidney disease in 90 days, taking people with end stage kidney disease to absolutely no kidney disease by lowering their albumin levels in their urine by 39% on average
Do you experience symptoms of low blood pressure ? Or does your doctor just use the low value to fear monger ?
Because the yanomami indians had basically lifelong blood pressure of 95/60 ,and were incredibly healthy, mostly as a consequence of getting like/ 10 grams a day of potassium and practically no sodium
The reader should remember that for the Yanomami Indians, normal blood pressure averages out at 95/60 and does not increase with age. Try comparing this with the AMA western ‘normal’ blood pressure of 120/80, which then goes up in incremental steps as you ingest more sodium and lose more potassium while getting older. Of course, the medical apologists will claim this is because we are more civilized, have evolved, and are thus ‘different’, but rest assured this is pathetic rubbish.
The only significant difference between the Yanomami and Americans or Australians, is that the Yanomami are stuffed full of healthy potassium, while we are stuffed full of toxic sodium.
      Best of luck

I explain in most of my videos, every health problem has more than one underlying cause. So if I gave you a remedy, it would only for the individuals who's cause that could correct. And it would make other people worse. If you're looking for quick remedies that only work for some people, this is absolutely not the channel for you. To correct an underlying cause of a health issue takes work. If you're not willing to do the work, you would want to watch a different channel. If you do want to fix the underlying causes of your health issues, you're best bet is to read my book and learn how to look at your unique body chemistry.
