That is almost how I have been making mine for years. I just add some yellow mustard also to the mix . Also for the topping I just use chili sauce . I just put it on in the beginning and let it cook the whole time. One bottle gives me 2 meatloafs . No xtra mixing and tastes great. Give it a try .
