I got my first Instant Pot 8 days ago: 8 qt. Pro Crisp + Air Fryer. So far, I love it! The inner pot has the handles, it has a completely flat bottom, and it's stovetop & oven safe, so that's like giving me another stockpot. I also discovered that the largest glass lid for my cookware actually fits this IP, so I don't have to buy a glass lid for it. You might want to get this one eventually.
I liked your video a lot & learning about all the different features of the instant pots. I have a suggestion for you. The pots that you keep in your garage, attic & shed you could put a plastic garbage bag or grocery sack over them to keep the dust off. I have several small appliances that I don’t use very often & I store them in a closet. They tend to get dusty, so covering them has eliminated that problem. I love your channel!
Your videos are why I moved from a basic non-instant pot pressure cooker to the IP Duo Evo Plus. I love it and my husband even has learned to use it on his own! Love how thorough your reviews are. Happy New Year- stay safe and stay healthy.
That's great! I've had some people tell me that they don't like pressure cooking when they've only tried cheap non-instant pot pots. You've got to try the real thing before you make up you mind! 😄 Glad you're enjoying the Evo!
I only have 2 of them but like you have a very small kitchen! My all-purpose space is like 12 X 14 inches and that's where all of my kitchen appliances go when I use them! It's also my food prep area and my photo studio, and if anyone has seen the pics I post on the IP community the backdrop is always the same! I don't think it's excessive for you to have the IP's that you do! You have a big family and cook a lot of different things so you need the extra capacity! In my case I'll keep using my 6-qt. Lux and 8-qt. Duo until one of them goes to the great beyond, then I'll get another one of the size that passed! As always my absolute very very best to all of you including Po! Take care!!!
I have a 2qt, 3qt, 6qt, 2x 8qts, and a 10qt. A couple of them are not IP brand, but I upgrade to IP brand as I need. Four (or five) years ago I bought my first electric pressure cooker....to pair with my WP pressure oven. The non-IP brands looked like a good deal at the time, but after replacing the inner pots with stainless steel (they come with non-stick) , turned out the IP was/is a much better deal.....plus IP has MORE accessories available, and especially the EASE of getting the correct extra sealing rings....that alone really seals the deal [sorry for the pun, Hun]. Some non-IP brands don't even offer new sealing rings. I have been retired for 10 years, wife is disabled, and I do 99% of the cooking/baking, daily, from scratch. I found your channel this AM while comparing which 3qt Duo to buy today, the standard or the BB-8, to replace my 2qt non-IP. I use two pots on a daily basis and sometimes one or both more than once. I have the air fryer lid for my 6qt IP and it works great for spaghetti squash, cauliflower, potatoes, etc. even though I have a Breville air fryer oven, but sometimes I need the oven for baking bread, rolls, etc. at the same time [but the Breville has a larger capacity]. I watch tons of videos and you deserve kudos for intelligent and articulate presentation. It is my pleasure to have just become a new subscriber of yours. One IP for each member of the family - sounds about right! If I count the dog - I need another IP - off to buy the BB-8! the 3 quart is a phenomenal size for two people! I use it almost exclusively (except occasionally, when the 8 quart comes out). Yes I have your book and love it!

I have two instant pot, both are six quarts, because we are just my husband and I, but I love them! I got one duo plus and my favorite is the Evo plus, I have never gotten an error message in mine, and I hope I won't, but after your review, I know it could happen but I can keep using it. I am in love with the inner por with handles! I really love it! Thanks for such good reviews and such good job!
So glad to hear you haven't had the error on the Evo. I'm hoping instant pot has fixed the problem! I just got it again today when searing pork shoulder 😒 BUT I still can't go back to no handles! 😂
I have 3.5 instant pots. I started with the 6 qt Lux, and accidentally damaged the lid. No lid holder on it and I placed it on the stove top when the oven was on resulting in plastic melting, hence it's now my .5 IP. It still works. I replaced it with a duo, but I can't part with my original. (I tried several times.) In addition to the damaged IP, I have 3, 6, & 8 qt IPs. Hubbie built a shelf in the kitchen to hold/display them.
I am usually only cooking for 2 so I have one 3qt Duo Nova and one of the updated 3qt Duo Plus. I find this is the most useful size and if I am meal prepping I can cook two dishes at once, get enough serves for a few meals but don't have to eat the same thing for a month.😀
I have a 3qt Ultra and 6qt Max. I love them both. Rose Red Homestead just did a great video testing the canning with a Logger. The Max passed! Great to see someone test it for low acid canning. I bought the Ultra first while RV traveling because of the altitude adjustments. Those two both have that capability. Been watching you for a long time. Love your channel.

@@lnghrnfn Since I’ve never saw it on sale yet, I wouldn’t know. But the instant pot Duo, I got for $59.99 at Target, but you must Google it first and look for sales. Then show them at Target at the register, otherwise they might charge you a higher sale price.

I brought my mini on our Easter weekend trip. Now that I have just purchased a 6 quart today, I would bring that one instead to increase the range of what I could make.
I have two. The 6qt and the mini. I also have an extra inner liner for the 6qt. I love love my instant pots. I have not used my stove in years. I cook whole meals in my instant pot, Thanksgiving, Xmas and all other holidays. I also have the ninja foodie grill. Happy New Year. Stay safe and well.
That's a great line up and having an extra liner is almost as good as an additional instant pot, imo! The main reason I use my stove/oven anymore is when I need to cook a large quantity. If my family weren't so big I'd hardly use it at all!
I have 3 and because I love them so much I've bought one for my daughter, son and stepmom.. I follow a large family here on TH-cam and I bet they would love the 10 qt!
I have six too! I live in two places so I have a 3, 6, 8 in both. I use my Duo Crisp the least too. I've found found that I don't care for the way the fryer bakes food onto the pot. It's kind of a pain to clean.
I have a 6 quart duo evo plus that I love - it replaced a 6 quart duo that was given away. I sold on the handles and the fact that it automatically seals....I was constantly forgetting to flip the handle to seal. I also have a 3 quart duo that was my first instant pot..unfortunately it’s not the cute Star Wars version. Love using it to make the best cold method greek yogurt, plus other items - your cookbook for the mini is terrific!

Thanks for covering this particular subject.....how many instant pots to buy?! I received my first instant pot duo plus 2 days ago and very quickly put it to test after reading the manual. Unfortunately I became aware of the evo and pro models 2 days after placing the order. I wanted to change the product, but customer service was slow answering my email. I'm happy with the duo plus, but I would be much happier if I could get the pro model. Hence the question....is it normal to own more than one instant pot? Having seen yours, I haven't started yet. In future I might consider to give the duo plus to someone as a gift, or I might keep it as a backup. Thank you, your channel is relevant and helpful.
Great idea for a video! I'm sure it's helped many decide which IP they might want to get. P.S. I have three Instant Pots already, plus a Cuisinart, a Nesco, a Cooks Essentials (I never used), and several Fagor stovetops and a Presto stovetop! Yikes!

When it was just my husband and me (before we moved in with our kids) I had the 3 qt. I used it all the time. I'm 70, and who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I would have loved that Instant Pot when I was 30 and feeding a house full of kids!
I’m sure there’s plenty in store for 2021. Some of us with multiple IP models may feel a sense of obsolescence with any new models coming out . When I saw the Pro Crisp I felt ...ughhhhh 50 more degrees !!!!
I have 3 IP's. The 3qt duo plus, 6qt duo plus and the Duo Crisp and Air Fryer. One of each size. I like using the air fryer when making chicken wings or fries. But I also have the IP crisp lid for the 6qt. I did discover that I can't air fry in both my pots at the same time or I will blow a fuse. Haha. I do have an extra 6qt inner pot as well as an extra 3qt inner pot. I use my 3qt more than my 6qt since I make my yogurt in the 3qt.
Like chicken math!! IP math! I have 5 right now (3,qt Ultra, 6 qt Lux, 6 quart Ultra, 8 qt Dup Pro, 10 qt.) Lux is expendable and needs a new home. Does the Aura slow cooker count too??

Yeah, it is a bit of a problem. Sometimes the sale is just too wonderful. The good thing is I have given many of them away. So at this time, i have three. I have one that I am giving away to a friend with a new apartment.
I have the 8 gt and the 3 at and I love them. The big one I make yoghurt , popcorn, meats, and so on the wee one I use for rice and veggies mostly. I really like your BB8 one and I'm sure I'd buy it if I ever saw it.

I have two instant pots. An 8 qt Duo Evo Plus and a 10 qt Duo Nova. I also have a 6 qt pressure cooker that isn’t Instant Pot Brand. I don’t use the 10 qt much but it’s great to have for cooking hams and broths. I’ve been considering a 3 qt but I’ve run out of cupboard space. 🤷🏼♀️
True confession, I purchased my 3 quart because it is so adorable and works great for rice and side dishes. It fits in a smaller space than the others.
i think you keep the Max in the shed. I have 4 - the 8 qt Duo Plus, the 6 qt Nova (from Costco), 6 qt Pioneer Woman Lux and the 6 quart SV. My favorite is the Nova but I really miss my original 6 qt Duo. None of the others make yogurt as easily (I have tried 3x and all 3 times it failed). I do like doing SV but it is practically the same in every other way as the others. I use the Duo Plus mainly for large amounts of food and making ribs (the reason I bought it in the first place.) I would give up the SV for the Gourmet or the EVO. I really would love the EVO for those handles on the pot and the great new pressure release. I also would love the 3 qt that looks like R2D2.

My passion for a long time was computers, so the technology of the instant pot appeals to me. I’ve gifted one to my daughter and also to my daughter-in-law. It is all so much easier now than it was 40 years ago when I had a stove top pressure cooker that scared me so much that I gave up using it. I’m waiting for you to discover the next big thing in cooking.
I think the Instant Pot people should be sponsoring you, Nili. You are such a great influencer for their brand. Your videos are so clear and easy to understand. They were very influential in my decision to buy an Instant Pot three years ago. I only have one (the 6 quart Duo) and it’s all I need. It’s on my kitchen counter and is used almost daily, sometimes more than once a day. In the past 48 hours I have (1) made yogurt, (2) proofed dough and (3) made a fantastic vegetable curry. If I needed to replace my Instant Pot I might get the one with the air fryer lid.
I was just wondering how many kids you have? I have 5 kids and I honestly can't choose between the 8 qt and 10 qt..I have the 6 qt and it is never enough for anything especially since I like to cook alot to have enough leftovers for a couple days. ...what would you recommend for that?
I have a two IPs, a 3 quart and a 6 quart. We have a family of seven and I find that the 6 quart is big enough for us...and we usually still have leftovers.

I just watched your Mealthy crisper vs instant pot crisper lids. I just got an instant pot for xmas and I'm learning how to use it. If you had to choose .... which airfryer cover would you choose? I always wanted just an airfryer ... so do you think I should just get one of those?

I prefer the countertop drawer style airfryers for the results and ease of use. If you have the room I say go for it! The one I have (and love!) is the Instant Vortex 6qt
How long does it take you to cook 2 medium sized russet potatoes? I pressure cooked for 15 min, and wasn’t done, so I pressure cooked an additional 10 minutes, transferred to a plate removed skins and still wouldn’t mash. Insides still hard. Cut up into smaller pieces and microwaved 1 minute and finally done. Instant pot Duo 7-in-1 bought 1 month ago. Everything takes too long to cook. Settings are high pressure. Normal. Not vented. Sealed ok. 1 cup water.
For medium size potatoes I do 12-15 minutes. Have you contacted instant pot customer service? If your pot is defective hopefully they'll replace it for you!
@@IndigoNili I traded it in for a replacement at Target yesterday. But before I did that, I looked for this same problem on the internet and couldn’t find one. Then I called Instant Brands customer service. Was put on hold for an hour. Then when they did answer they said there were 65 people waiting. I explained my problem and said they’d send me a test to try out. Also my 30 day trade in time was close to done, so I traded it in. He said to use 2 cups of water instead of 1. The more water, the more steam. As soon as I got the replacement, I washed the inner pot and put 2 cups water the trivet, 1/4 cup lintels and 2 small to medium 4 inch potatoes. Then pressure cooked on high pressure for 17 minutes on timer. The lintels came out the same, and the potatoes were almost done. Enough I could mash with a fork, but centers still slightly hard, but definitely eatable. 20 minutes probably better. But next time I’ll cut in half lengthwise first. This one better, but only slightly. They sent me an email of a test to run. Put in 3 cups water, the. Sauté on more setting. Use a timer to see when it comes to a roiling boil. Take picture of water boiling and send to them with length of time. 1st time I’m guessing 9 minutes and I let cool and did again. 6 minutes that time. But it never came to what I’d call a rolling boil. There were only one or two spots in the pot where some small bubbles came up with tiny bubbles everywhere else. I sent them my information and Haven’t heard back from them yet.
@@IndigoNili the home office for instant brands is 328 feet and I’m on a hill from Kansas City so approx 950 feet for me. The higher altitude the lower the boil rate. That just might be it. Surely I cannot be the only one complaining about this. What about people in the mountainous areas? Surely they’d have a worse problem.

I buy it on Ebay and they want me to pay for the shipping if I want to return it I'm from Puerto Rico so it's a little expensive .I'm waiting for and Ultra mini but this time I buy it on Amazon. I still want a 6Quart but I don't know wish one to buy Max Pro or a Duo Plus or Duo Guormet 🤔
The Duo Gourmet is probably going to be the cheapest options but it's a great machine and I highly recommend it. If you have a bit more money to spend is go from the Pro. The handles on the inner pot are my favorite upgrade! I'm not a huge fan of the Max or the Plus... Not that they're bad machines, I just think for the money the Pro is the better option ☺️
I’m so torn on my first ever IP between the Star Wars duo 6qt vs the Duo Evo Plus 6qt. Being new I like the idea of the handles and pressure release of the DEP but it seems like all the presets and stuff won’t really be used. Do those features make it worth getting that vs the one I love the look?
That is a tough decision! I will say that I don't think you could go wrong with either option. 😄 The handles and pressure release are pretty great but probably 95% of instant pot users don't have those features and still have a great experience. Here's an idea: Get the Evo and then find some cool star wars decals to decorate it with 😃 Best of both worlds! 😂
I stopped the video and I am guessing you keep the 10 litre pot out in your shed. The biggest one I own is 8 litres and I don’t see myself buying the 10 litre any time soon.
I have wished I could do giveaways with my used instant pot but, sadly, the cost to ship an instant pot is about the same as the cost to purchase a new one!

Ninja Foodies and other Ninjas are great machines. I went with Instant Pot because of the well known cookbook authors and the huge IP community on Facebook.

@@slate2103 you will find more “programs” on the instant pot. The foodie and other ninjas don’t have a great selection of programs. I like programs but only I use them. I try to use whenever I can but most recipes run on manual. My favorite IP is the Max with 15psi and I love the Duo Evo Plus and the Mickey Mouse Duo.

Wow! Your collection pots mine to shame! Totally agree with you on the sealing rings. That's enough reason to go with an instant pot in my opinion!

I got my 3qt based on your review of the 3qt duo. It has been the rock horse of my kitchen 3ver since.

Absolutely! Those darn Instant Pots keep getting better and better....and I keep buying and buying.
I have one, the 6 quart Duo and purchased an air fryer lid recently. I cannot give up my air fryer, I love it and use it 4-5 times a week! I for one would love to see more videos using the crisp lid. 🙂

Same here. The reason I don’t have the IP with the crisp lid is because I already have a Mealthy CrispLid and love it.
I’d love to get an air frier lid, but will wait for a good sale.

@@lnghrnfn Since I’ve never saw it on sale yet, I wouldn’t know. But the instant pot Duo, I got for $59.99 at Target, but you must Google it first and look for sales. Then show them at Target at the register, otherwise they might charge you a higher sale price.

Yes! Now I know that a road trip instant pot is an essential! 😄 I have given away a lot of accessories but still have a ton as well. 😅 Whenever I give a pot away I try to set them up with the accessories they'll need
I brought my mini on our Easter weekend trip. Now that I have just purchased a 6 quart today, I would bring that one instead to increase the range of what I could make.
I have two. The 6qt and the mini. I also have an extra inner liner for the 6qt. I love love my instant pots. I have not used my stove in years. I cook whole meals in my instant pot, Thanksgiving, Xmas and all other holidays. I also have the ninja foodie grill. Happy New Year. Stay safe and well.
That's a great line up and having an extra liner is almost as good as an additional instant pot, imo! The main reason I use my stove/oven anymore is when I need to cook a large quantity. If my family weren't so big I'd hardly use it at all!

I have 3 and because I love them so much I've bought one for my daughter, son and stepmom.. I follow a large family here on TH-cam and I bet they would love the 10 qt!
I have six too! I live in two places so I have a 3, 6, 8 in both. I use my Duo Crisp the least too. I've found found that I don't care for the way the fryer bakes food onto the pot. It's kind of a pain to clean.

I have a 6 quart duo evo plus that I love - it replaced a 6 quart duo that was given away. I sold on the handles and the fact that it automatically seals....I was constantly forgetting to flip the handle to seal. I also have a 3 quart duo that was my first instant pot..unfortunately it’s not the cute Star Wars version. Love using it to make the best cold method greek yogurt, plus other items - your cookbook for the mini is terrific!

I received my first instant pot duo plus 2 days ago and very quickly put it to test after reading the manual.
Unfortunately I became aware of the evo and pro models 2 days after placing the order. I wanted to change the product, but customer service was slow answering my email.
I'm happy with the duo plus, but I would be much happier if I could get the pro model. Hence the question....is it normal to own more than one instant pot?
Having seen yours, I haven't started yet. In future I might consider to give the duo plus to someone as a gift, or I might keep it as a backup.

Great idea for a video! I'm sure it's helped many decide which IP they might want to get. P.S. I have three Instant Pots already, plus a Cuisinart, a Nesco, a Cooks Essentials (I never used), and several Fagor stovetops and a Presto stovetop! Yikes!

When it was just my husband and me (before we moved in with our kids) I had the 3 qt. I used it all the time. I'm 70, and who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? I would have loved that Instant Pot when I was 30 and feeding a house full of kids!

I’m sure there’s plenty in store for 2021. Some of us with multiple IP models may feel a sense of obsolescence with any new models coming out . When I saw the Pro Crisp I felt ...ughhhhh 50 more degrees !!!!
I have 3 IP's. The 3qt duo plus, 6qt duo plus and the Duo Crisp and Air Fryer. One of each size. I like using the air fryer when making chicken wings or fries. But I also have the IP crisp lid for the 6qt. I did discover that I can't air fry in both my pots at the same time or I will blow a fuse. Haha. I do have an extra 6qt inner pot as well as an extra 3qt inner pot. I use my 3qt more than my 6qt since I make my yogurt in the 3qt.
Having one of each size is the way to go! I also have extra liners which makes things so nice. 👌🏼👍🏼
Like chicken math!! IP math! I have 5 right now (3,qt Ultra, 6 qt Lux, 6 quart Ultra, 8 qt Dup Pro, 10 qt.) Lux is expendable and needs a new home. Does the Aura slow cooker count too??

Yeah, it is a bit of a problem. Sometimes the sale is just too wonderful. The good thing is I have given many of them away. So at this time, i have three. I have one that I am giving away to a friend with a new apartment.

I have the 8 gt and the 3 at and I love them. The big one I make yoghurt , popcorn, meats, and so on the wee one I use for rice and veggies mostly. I really like your BB8 one and I'm sure I'd buy it if I ever saw it.

I have two instant pots. An 8 qt Duo Evo Plus and a 10 qt Duo Nova. I also have a 6 qt pressure cooker that isn’t Instant Pot Brand. I don’t use the 10 qt much but it’s great to have for cooking hams and broths. I’ve been considering a 3 qt but I’ve run out of cupboard space. 🤷🏼♀️
I cooked our Christmas ham in my 10qt and it worked great! The 3qt mini is so teeny, you could totally find room! 😂😉🤪
True confession, I purchased my 3 quart because it is so adorable and works great for rice and side dishes. It fits in a smaller space than the others.
I have four Instant Pots, 3 6qt and 13qt. Plus two other pressure cookers.

i think you keep the Max in the shed. I have 4 - the 8 qt Duo Plus, the 6 qt Nova (from Costco), 6 qt Pioneer Woman Lux and the 6 quart SV. My favorite is the Nova but I really miss my original 6 qt Duo. None of the others make yogurt as easily (I have tried 3x and all 3 times it failed). I do like doing SV but it is practically the same in every other way as the others. I use the Duo Plus mainly for large amounts of food and making ribs (the reason I bought it in the first place.) I would give up the SV for the Gourmet or the EVO. I really would love the EVO for those handles on the pot and the great new pressure release. I also would love the 3 qt that looks like R2D2.

I’ve “only” got 2, a 3 quart and a 6 quart. And a large kitchen, so storage isn’t an issue.

@@IndigoNili My husband appreciates the food that comes out of the instant pots. He’s also impressed with Sous vide cooking. My passion for a long time was computers, so the technology of the instant pot appeals to me. I’ve gifted one to my daughter and also to my daughter-in-law. It is all so much easier now than it was 40 years ago when I had a stove top pressure cooker that scared me so much that I gave up using it. I’m waiting for you to discover the next big thing in cooking.
I think the Instant Pot people should be sponsoring you, Nili. You are such a great influencer for their brand. Your videos are so clear and easy to understand. They were very influential in my decision to buy an Instant Pot three years ago. I only have one (the 6 quart Duo) and it’s all I need. It’s on my kitchen counter and is used almost daily, sometimes more than once a day. In the past 48 hours I have (1) made yogurt, (2) proofed dough and (3) made a fantastic vegetable curry. If I needed to replace my Instant Pot I might get the one with the air fryer lid.

I was just wondering how many kids you have? I have 5 kids and I honestly can't choose between the 8 qt and 10 qt..I have the 6 qt and it is never enough for anything especially since I like to cook alot to have enough leftovers for a couple days. ...what would you recommend for that?
I have a two IPs, a 3 quart and a 6 quart. We have a family of seven and I find that the 6 quart is big enough for us...and we usually still have leftovers.

I just watched your Mealthy crisper vs instant pot crisper lids. I just got an instant pot for xmas and I'm learning how to use it. If you had to choose .... which airfryer cover would you choose? I always wanted just an airfryer ... so do you think I should just get one of those?
Mealthy is probably my top choice but they're both good!

I prefer the countertop drawer style airfryers for the results and ease of use. If you have the room I say go for it! The one I have (and love!) is the Instant Vortex 6qt

How long does it take you to cook 2 medium sized russet potatoes? I pressure cooked for 15 min, and wasn’t done, so I pressure cooked an additional 10 minutes, transferred to a plate removed skins and still wouldn’t mash. Insides still hard. Cut up into smaller pieces and microwaved 1 minute and finally done.
Instant pot Duo 7-in-1 bought 1 month ago. Everything takes too long to cook. Settings are high pressure. Normal. Not vented. Sealed ok. 1 cup water.
For medium size potatoes I do 12-15 minutes. Have you contacted instant pot customer service? If your pot is defective hopefully they'll replace it for you!
@@IndigoNili I traded it in for a replacement at Target yesterday. But before I did that, I looked for this same problem on the internet and couldn’t find one. Then I called Instant Brands customer service. Was put on hold for an hour. Then when they did answer they said there were 65 people waiting.
I explained my problem and said they’d send me a test to try out. Also my 30 day trade in time was close to done, so I traded it in. He said to use 2 cups of water instead of 1. The more water, the more steam.
As soon as I got the replacement, I washed the inner pot and put 2 cups water the trivet, 1/4 cup lintels and 2 small to medium 4 inch potatoes. Then pressure cooked on high pressure for 17 minutes on timer. The lintels came out the same, and the potatoes were almost done. Enough I could mash with a fork, but centers still slightly hard, but definitely eatable. 20 minutes probably better. But next time I’ll cut in half lengthwise first. This one better, but only slightly.
They sent me an email of a test to run. Put in 3 cups water, the. Sauté on more setting. Use a timer to see when it comes to a roiling boil. Take picture of water boiling and send to them with length of time.
1st time I’m guessing 9 minutes and I let cool and did again. 6 minutes that time. But it never came to what I’d call a rolling boil. There were only one or two spots in the pot where some small bubbles came up with tiny bubbles everywhere else.
I sent them my information and Haven’t heard back from them yet.
Interesting! Environmental factors can also affect pressure cooking. Do you know what altitude you're at?

@@IndigoNili the home office for instant brands is 328 feet and I’m on a hill from Kansas City so approx 950 feet for me. The higher altitude the lower the boil rate. That just might be it. Surely I cannot be the only one complaining about this. What about people in the mountainous areas? Surely they’d have a worse problem.

I buy it on Ebay and they want me to pay for the shipping if I want to return it I'm from Puerto Rico so it's a little expensive .I'm waiting for and Ultra mini but this time I buy it on Amazon. I still want a 6Quart but I don't know wish one to buy Max Pro or a Duo Plus or Duo Guormet 🤔
The Duo Gourmet is probably going to be the cheapest options but it's a great machine and I highly recommend it. If you have a bit more money to spend is go from the Pro. The handles on the inner pot are my favorite upgrade! I'm not a huge fan of the Max or the Plus... Not that they're bad machines, I just think for the money the Pro is the better option ☺️

I’m so torn on my first ever IP between the Star Wars duo 6qt vs the Duo Evo Plus 6qt. Being new I like the idea of the handles and pressure release of the DEP but it seems like all the presets and stuff won’t really be used. Do those features make it worth getting that vs the one I love the look?
That is a tough decision! I will say that I don't think you could go wrong with either option. 😄 The handles and pressure release are pretty great but probably 95% of instant pot users don't have those features and still have a great experience. Here's an idea: Get the Evo and then find some cool star wars decals to decorate it with 😃 Best of both worlds! 😂

Ninja Foodies and other Ninjas are great machines. I went with Instant Pot because of the well known cookbook authors and the huge IP community on Facebook.

@@slate2103 you will find more “programs” on the instant pot. The foodie and other ninjas don’t have a great selection of programs. I like programs but only I use them. I try to use whenever I can but most recipes run on manual. My favorite IP is the Max with 15psi and I love the Duo Evo Plus and the Mickey Mouse Duo.
