About the auto correction bug you were talking about, please change this in settings and try again
Settings - General Management - Default Spell Checker and choose Gboard ( instead of Samsung Spell Checker )
It will soon start working, try with different words

I previously preferred Microsoft SwiftKey for its swipe text feature, but I've transitioned to the Samsung keyboard because it offers swipe typing as well as colour customization options through Good Lock.

I use the Gboard due to it seems (To me) to be better with the swipe to type feature. With the Samsung keyboard, sometimes I have to swipe a couple of times before it picks up the correct word. I had this same issue when I had an iPhone. Just recently switched to the S24 Ultra and love it!

If I'm being real, the only reason I still use SwiftKey over samsung is because of the accurate word prediction which samsung, for some reason cannot match or even come close to matching. Once Samsung fixes their horrible word prediction, I will gladly switch over. They've already crowned the customization, now they should just focus on matching their word prediction with SwiftKey or steal whatever word prediction system SwiftKey is using. I remember trying to go back to samsung keyboard for a few weeks to attempt to give them another benefit of the doubt thinking their word prediction might have improved, but still not close to SwiftKey unfortunately.

I've been using Gbord for many years, I'm used to it. I like its size customization, you can hide the number row and make it more minimalistic; and the correctness is decent.
I didn't like the samsung one, maybe because it's too big and you can't resize it as much as the google one, adding the correction.

The biggest problem with Gboard on Galaxy devices, The keypress sound is very loud and its setting is broken, you can’t decrease the sound since the slider won’t function. Only way to decrease sound is through the phone’s system volume which affects a lot of other important sounds. It’s been this way for years and neither company sees any reason to fix it. Because of this I dual wield Sam Keyboard and Swiftkey, both are great in they’re own way

I use both keyboards. Samsung keyboard is the King of customisation and with Goodluck it really comes up awesome. It has more customisation on side panels and feels more modern compared to gboard. Of you are using a Samsung phone then samsung keyboard is extra awesome.
    Gboard feels more 2021 then 2024 .........
However after using both extensively I personally Hage seen that the AUTOCORRECTION and PREDICTION feature on Gnoard is MUCH BETTER the Samsjng keyboard.
Initially it will be dumb. But more you use it , more it learns about your knows typing errors , Language Mixed words and writing other languages in English.
It then starts predicting accurate results so much so that typing fast isn't an option as yoi trust its autocorrection skills.
I Have trouble getting that LEARNING MY TYPING BETTER Silent feature in Samsung keyboard.
Samsung kb is a flashy really cool keyboard but when it comes to Typing correctly while using multiple languages and Building your typing profile Gboard does much better. My Gboard has learnt about my typing so well that now even if I mix multiple languages in one sentence writing in English it accurately predicts what m about to type along with suggesting possible other options so it's really fast adopting to mixed up language typing. You just Have to give it Sone time learning about your typing styles.

My Samsung keyboard won't even type "the" right when I type fast I can hit the wrong letter and it will always stay like ths or something else and doesn't correct with space bar, but with Google it corrects most mistakes and I like it. I have the galaxy s23+ .... Gboard is great for swipe typing. Samsung keyboard isn't very good at that at all. if i hit the wrong letter gboard knows it and fixes it and samsung doesn't. I use the voice typing. The only reason i use the samsung keyboard is for the AI functions. If they worked on gboard i'd go back to it.

    To all,
Swift keyboard, Samsung and Google all are better in their respective zone.
But gboard typing and suggestions reliability is unmatched is continuous typing.

When I make my own theme for a keyboad, it does save in Good Lock. But when I go to choose it on the Samsung keyboard, it keeps on saying that "There is no keyboard theme" when I cleary made one. What can I do to fix the issue? I appreciate the help.

I have used the Samsung Keyboard on my phone since i got it because i figured why not since it's a Samsung phone and it's a Keyboard made by Samsung , i don't see the need to use the Google keyboard...in my opinion Samsung keyboard is a lot better than Gboard.

You can change the loudness when you go to the preferences section in the gboard settings

@ifrankenstein7455 no it stays the same regardless of the volume

@@chrismosco121 The gboard sound is linked to the ringtone sounds for whatever reason so try setting the ringtone to the maximum volume then go to the gboard volume and set it to 1%
After this set your ringtone to the default volume you are using. This might help

I love Samsung keyboard, though I use Gboard. It feels better and smoother than Samsung keyboard. I wish Samsung keyboard had direct emoji access like Gboard

I've been using Gboard ever since I started using Android so I'm more familiar with it. Not sure if Samsung keyboard is better or not but I'll definitely will have a hard time using it and may take some time to adjust. But nah... I'll just stick to Gboard which is the one I'm more familiar with.

The thing is that people has been using gboard for many many years which is plus point for them they improved a lot on it but Samsung keyboard people are very less so that's the reason Samsung keyboard couldn't capture people's usage.
