love might change, world might change, but Johnny Greenwood's hair never change
best hair ever ♥
Neither does Phil’s lol
@@jaysky545 got em!
hhhhhhh,yes
nor his age apparently
They never changed their line up. Worked with their producer for most of their career. Same with their album artist. Radiohead is so unique.
Crazy that they stay working with the same people and yet they all change so much. It’s crazy how a group of people can all change and grow together as a unit. It’s one of the many beautiful things about Radiohead.
and Jonny never changed his guitar either
Pretty insane that they’ve all been together since they were practically kids.
And never made crap album
@Luke Reid Also the same tech ie: Plank for their instruments and for the beatles, is Mal Evan. Except the beatles quit touring and be a studio only band. Radiohead also almost like the Beatles in that sense after OkC era. They'r too tired/sick to tour and/or see each other again. Kid A is a saver.
When they played this show, they had no idea that a streaming website like TH-cam would exist and they'd be posting it 23 years in the future.
And that almost perfectly fits the entire aesthetic that is OK Computer era Radiohead
That's a really good point
Ty you tube I miss those years with Radiohead I can’t afford to see a concert that time ❤️❤️❤️
You don’t know that they had no idea - in fact it’s You that didn’t know. True! 🍎🎬
What?
That makes alot of sense. What's for lunch?

Cool
Amazing set list. Love talk show host.
What an absolute joy
The bends.. Such an amazing album.. Best 70 minutes ever
"Talk show host" is such a great song it could have appeared on any of their albums without sounding out of place. Masterpiece.
Can we all take a minute to appreciate the sound engineer's craftmanship in recording this concert so cleanly? Really just makes the whole concert such a nearly transcendental experience.
This is facts, these songs are just as good if not better, than their album counterparts. The way Thom sings “an interstellar burst” in Airbag is unreal, his singing in my iron lung, throughout the whole fucking thing honestly and Johnny is too good. Favorite live tape by a long shot
What? Shut up!
Absolutely agree. They must be extremely complex and challenging. All songs sound brilliant, I can listen every sound quite clearly. Marvelous.
TOP SOUND
Very good point! When I took my two sons age 14 and 12 to see them outside Boston weeks before 9/11/2001 they put on a GREAT show and I remember being so impressed with the clarity of the sound! We could make out every word Thom sang and it was just the right volume.
the best live version of Exit Music I’ve seen. the disdain and hopelessness in Thoms voice/mannerisms are fantastic.
People yelling no! Just makes it better
I don't know Thom but I get the feeling that he draws some inspiration from his personal emotion and also purposely performs. I don't think he's truly hopeless, I think he's just a genius and can create these amazing feels.
i dont think thom has ever looked so british in the history of time
thom looked so british during ok computer era
WHAT?!?! Why is this not recognized as one of the best concert captures ever? So good I'm having doubts as to the authenticity! Perfectly played, perfect dynamics, the intensity, every part is played with life, so many seemingly dissonant parts that it make happen so fluidlike!
Everything was fresh. After this they'd never do exactly what anyone wanted them to do...to great effect. The end of their rock band era.
i love how Jonny through the years has been playing with the same passion every song... is like his first time everytime

Cute
Johnny cute 😂
one of the best performances of creep here.
Lucky was the one that floored me.
Talk Show Host is just a damn fine song.
Talk Show Host was a feature song on the movie Romeo & Juliet, that's why it's hot. It kept playing everytime Leonardo Dicaprio was being slick. Also why it's really good is because Radiohead was turning "experimental" between The bends & Ok Computer and they used that song as a transition [ they kept their rockstar ways by experimenting with a new style. ]
Love Ed’s contribution to that song.
@@langdonalger9219 so funky

We want more Radiohead Thursdays, this can't be the last one!!!!
Is this really the last?
WHAT???? Its the last one?????? Nooo!
Is it the last one? Ahh I was waiting for them to upload at least one of the shows they've done at Glastonbury
@@darkwarrior1194 I think they can't upload the ones from Glasto because the BBC would take them down ://
@@user-ib8ky6eo4f yes, they said that on their instagram
This brings back so many memories. I was lucky enough to see this live. Belfort was rocking that year. I could only do the one day and what a day. Live, biohazard, chemical brothers, smashing pumpkins and radiohead. This set will go down as one of the greatest sets and i feel privileged to have experience it. 🍄❤
I saw them in Paris same tour, October 1997. You could tell they were so done with touring. They played Creep but you could tell Thom hated it. But that rage they had for the song translated into pure, raw emotion. It's one of the best gigs I've ever witnessed! (It's on the "Meeting People is Easy" film.)
Highly unlikely that they did read my comment about the more 90s shows request but I'm glad that this weeks year is 1997 :)
Maybe they did because i certainly remember i did
Its so amazing.. 97 a good year for me. Second grade. 10 years old. Before my trouble really started
Thursday nights will always be Radiohead. Real men, real music.

Climbing Up The Walls. Best version. Guitar explosion.

Hard to believe so many years passed by.... Life is hard. Time waits for no one. But hey, at least Radiohead is still fighting with us, thank you for these free concerts, life savers.
Finally, I'll have this complete on my list without multiple videos to compensate the setlist.
Ed is just straight up the coolest chap of em' all
Didn't read the title. When I finally turned away from the computer and faced the TV, was really surprised at how young they look. This video is such a treat.
Sometimes I feel there is nothing I wouldn’t give to experience ‘97 Radiohead. I’ve watch so many videos from this era over the year, this is the peak of popular music as far as I can see. It’s raw and engaging but also intelligent and thoughtful.
How does this happen? How can someone and their whole group sound so perfectly in harmony and beautiful live like this?
The boring answer is hours spent in a rehearsal room before the door. But then of course there's that magic but that happens when the crowd is there willing you on that just brings everything to another level. Dedication plus Inspiration :)
Probably the best RH concert on TH-cam. I miss that energy...
Its weird how with Radiohead you start off with your favorite songs and songs you don't really like. Then you start liking the songs you didn't like. Eventually you just like every song on the album.😄😄😄😄
I SO wish I could see Radiohead live, minute 45 in this concert is transcendent, Thom sings, a couple of the bandmates take a much needed quick break temporarily, then it comes crashing back in with gusto! What a performance, this is otherworldly...
Thank you so much for these!! Will miss them :’)
Thank you for all of this radiohead, I have enjoyed it quite a bit!
Listening to this while going for a walk at midnight...thank you❤
Beautiful
Back when they were just introducing the magnificence of OK Computer to the world. Definitive live performances those songs indeed.
Because they were so hungry to displace the reputation of this song in their library ==> 01:00:57 XD They f*cking succeeded.
This version of Airbag continues to floor me every time I watch it... unreal
Thank you for the amazing Radiohead Thursdays during quarantine
Holy Fuck!!!
This shit is just mind blowing!!!
Damn... 😞
Im 53 years old!
And Ive never seen Radiohead live.
How did i miss this???
This is a time travel. Remind me very good times. I consider these five guys as my friends, very good friends. Thanks for all you did! Love from France.
I am stocked as you Radiohead used the rip I did years ago taken from my VHS and that got shared 20 years ago tons of times on dimea12n and other RH website fans. Incredible !!!! STOCKED ! Glad you brought music to my life and that you've been able to re-use my fan contribution to the community :)
i really wish i was born earlier so i could experience these concerts for myself. im thoroughly convinced that radiohead is one of the best bands out there and has at least two songs in each album that had something of value and i should be grateful that these guys exist.
Just pressed play and immediately I'm BLOWN AWAY by Thom's crystal clear vocals in "Lucky" - those looong, powerful notes. Phenomenal! And the instruments - the sound is so crisp, this recording is a gem. Can't wait to hear the rest
How does arguably the greatest and most influential Alternative group ever to exist have only 2.3 million subs? In a genre that, even at the height of its popularity remained very much an underground thing, these guys were a cultural juggernaut in their own right. At least, that's how I remember it. Times change I guess.
And I will go back and I will witness again, over and over again.
This finally comes to it's end :(
But thank you so much Radiohead, you're a life saver. ♡
@Bryton I saw that on Colin's latest tweet that this is the final premiere concert series :"

Thank you radiohead these videos have helped me get thru the past few months. Can't wait to see you guys play again.
25 years ago today. Still ahead of it's time.
I remember going to England in the summer of 1997, and I remember all that hype about Radiohead in London. I remember seeing their concert posters and people dying to go their concert. But me; unfortunately, I was into 70s hard rock bands in 90s, and it took me a few more years to see that Radiohead makes music with long-lasting quality. As luck would have it, I purchased my first Radiohead album (Kid A) in England in 2001. I love each note played in their music since that day...
Oh Great Scott Mist! I've watched this one over 100 times back in the days... recorded on an old VHS Vidéotape cassette. Amongts my favorite live versions of Airbag, The Bends, Paranoid Android, Creep and Just!
''This is their way of saying goodbye
... because they can't do it face to face... no matter what happens now... you shouldn't be afraid... because I know Thursday has been the most perfect day I've ever seen''.
To anybody reading this, may your soul be immersed in love 🙂

Thanks for posting guys!!!!
this was the best!! instead of being born in 97' i wish i was in the crowd jamming with them.
That exactly when I fell in love with Radiohead... they look so happy... everything Radiohead is here... sophisticated, a grain crazy (Tom?)... the time for revelation... THANK YOU
This Creep version is a performance 💯made me smile after all these melancholic songs😌❤️
Thank you, thank you, thank you, you’ve made this lockdown a lot easier and have (again) a fan for life. After a hiatus after kid A, but now I consider that album a masterpiece.
Thank You Radiohead🍋🐻 You are Beautiful people doing Beautiful things!!
My introvert teenaging of 90th with Radiohead, big computer, drMartins. Thom's music influenced so much on my personality and my way of thinking. What i know for sure, your songs helped me during loneliness at high school and made more sophisticated than school mates.
Being able to hear the rythm section live as opposed to the mix is absolutely astounding, Colin and Phil got me jamming to no surprises of all songs. Radiohead truly is an every member is a beast type band. On the albums, I can always hear Jonny and Thom clearly, but Colin, Phil, as well as Ed don't really get justice mixing wise. Being able to hear all 5 members contribution clearly live is truly magical.
This has to be my favorite in the series. Thank you, Radiohead!!
Watched this concert tons of times through the years. I remember watching it in 1997 and thinking Radiohead were the best band in world. Watching it now in 2020 and my opinion has not changed. Hopefully new music is coming in 2021.
I've been obsessed watching the newer concerts but hadn´t pay attention at all to the older one. Just started watching this, and wow! what an energy!!! they are amazing, Colin jumping around! They are at the top of the world!! and after this they'll just stay there forever!
i wish they had played 'Fitter Happier' for a little while longer, it's such an underrated song. i wish had been at this show in '97. The band that's been scoring my life ever since i was 9 yo. Hope they never break up, cos then i will die.
Colin was in a great mood that day.
