So there's no point comparing yourself to another player.

The picking hand takes practice to get rhythmic, so true. I am learning so much from you sensi, i had many bad habits that are getting corrected one at a time. Here at 71 years old and finally learning the right way to play. Being a luthier first, i never really worried so much about playing technique now im learning to play well and its so wonderful.

I got a kemper set of your setup. It's so good to love that tone went from tech metal all these pedals to a profiler to a Seymour power stage, and a keeper hab sounds pretty close and clean tone lol who woulda knew

Good tips Tomo- would have been cool to reveal the change in wrist/grip when performing the triplet at regular tempo. The triplet explanation at slp-mo only demonstrated the picking direction while exaggerating the movements

@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you! I rely on reverbs really due to my music i make. On my little channel. Very ambient blues ish. But ive been trying to clean up as much as possible without losing the needed emotion and tails. Hehehe.
You're welcome! Music is subjective so do what you love to do! For me, I just want to improve my guitar playing everyday so I made this "No reverb" as normal thing. My amp has no reverb. But it does not mean I don't like reverb. I have a lot of reverb pedals and I love mix two reverb pedals to get my tone! I love using multiple amps too. Good job!

I got a kemper set of your setup. It's so good to love that tone went from tech metal all these pedals to a profiler to a Seymour power stage, and a keeper hab sounds pretty close and clean tone lol who woulda knew

Good tips Tomo- would have been cool to reveal the change in wrist/grip when performing the triplet at regular tempo. The triplet explanation at slp-mo only demonstrated the picking direction while exaggerating the movements

@@TomoFujitaMusic Thank you! I rely on reverbs really due to my music i make. On my little channel. Very ambient blues ish. But ive been trying to clean up as much as possible without losing the needed emotion and tails. Hehehe.
You're welcome! Music is subjective so do what you love to do! For me, I just want to improve my guitar playing everyday so I made this "No reverb" as normal thing. My amp has no reverb. But it does not mean I don't like reverb. I have a lot of reverb pedals and I love mix two reverb pedals to get my tone! I love using multiple amps too. Good job!

I need to embrace this more. Lesson helps. Sounds not so good on a Gib SG, but better on my Telecaster 92'.
The hand charisma to the strings makes them sing. I need to embrace this finger tip romance as to slide on coiled metal. Love the guitar and lovew your guitar work.
