Real nice boots! Indian boot / shoemakers fly a little under the radar but they seems to be offering great value for money. Last week I ordered a pair of Goodyear Welted Suede Split Toe Derby Boots from Kozasko I'm eagerly awaiting their arrival.
These look fantastic. I’m at an age now where my interest is spiked when I hear the word comfort. Sometimes I just want a well made, good looking boot that is comfortable. I have a few well made and great looking boots that just aren’t comfortable enough for a full day.
I own three pairs of blkbrd footwear, and I just can't wait for your review! The reason is that I myself am planning to buy a pair of black boots. I was considering buying again from blkbrd, but because I like the more shiny chromexcel kind of black lather, I am leaning towards miles and louie boots, as their black boots seem to more resemble the look. So, it will be particularly interesting to check the effect of your idea of treating the boots with saphire shoe cream.
Incredible value for the price. The prices for their models in more well-know leathers are also fantastic. I'm convinced I need to get a pair from them. Thanks for the introduction to this model.
I think it would be great if you could examine the insoles on them. They come with removable liner soles, which are glued but not in a fanatical manner and are not very difficult to remove in order to examine the insoles.
Thanks for the review. For the last four weeks I've been wearing this boot from Blackbird as well (in burgundy pull-up) and the Indi boot (Wine colour) from Luosjiet. Here are some of my comments. Both have a very high level of finishing. The sewing and welting is really good. The Blackbird is expecially nice at the heels and sole. For the leather, the Luosjiet is the better one. The blackbird pull up leather has to much creasing and maybe loose grain. Also, the black rubber sole leaves black marks on some surfaces. Finally, the sizing chart was incorect (5UK) in my case it was too big and required I add a thicker insole. For me, the Luosjet is the better value. Long term I think it will age better. I would recommend Blackbird improve the quality of their pull up leather and increase the price if needed. They would still be a good value and place it on par or better than the Luosjiet.
I don't have either one but am interested in them. I've noticed the heel and sole on Luosjet are just too plain. Also the BLKBRD heel counters, most of them have not much of a curvature when viewed in profile. What do you think about ordering from BLKBRD with imported materials? I'll be in the $300+ range.
I've read about BlKBRD and I wanted to buy a plain toe pair (I think Rüdiger or Something" they have a Solid palet of leathers but No videos on TH-cam besides on the Dress-shoes.
Do you own any Beckett Simonon? I am a 12 brannock and wear a 12 in Beckett Simonon and it’s really a perfect fit for my narrow ankles and wide toes. BUT I want to try some other brands. Curious how these fit compared to BS. The “12.5-13” is throwing me off because a half size is kinda a big deal.
nice, I can't wait to order them. Should I get these first or order some Wolf's Urban club boots? Club ban wolves seem like they would likely arrive quicker , I'm in California also. what is the website I've fallen in love with boots as of late and every time I Buy a pair I think Will be content , but not more than a few days go by and I'm already looking at something else online or watching these videos of yours. to be fair I am on a meager and fixed income so $200 boot does quite a bit of damage, I have found some good deals on eBay and offer-up. and I'm not to proud to buy a second hand boot in the right condition. with my military background I've been more into workboat style or casual, But I'm slowly getting more into dressier footwear from watching your videos. hey, maybe I can even find an office job to wear them to.good job, and thanks agai n. oh quick note. is there a way you can improve or adjust your audio? it's like every time I come to one of your videos I have to crank the volume up from what is fine for a majority of other videos. and I'd like to be immersed in the relaxing soft drone of you voice.
The boots look really nice even with jeans. The left boot appears to have a flaw/crease/ fold at the left of center on the back of the heel. Is that a defect? The right boot looks smooth at the heel.
@@YouShoe-1985 Hey Ryan! I'm ordering Rudiger, but the support guy tells me my 30.5 cm. feet bestfitted with 47 EUR; you said your 46 comes as 12.5 inches (31.5 cm). Kinda puzzled here
Thanks for reviewing so many different brands. Love your channel!
Thanks!!
Superb value for money. I have a pair of shell boots from them and also a monk strap. The price to quality ratio is truly commendable.
Couldn't agree more!

Absolutely! You won’t be disappointed
can't wait to see the update on these. I might be getting a pair soon from this brand.
I don't think you will be disappointed with this brand. AND Im not paid to say that.😄

I have their Dixon boot, absolutely love it. I did replace the laces however.

That's a sexy boot Mr Ryan! I'm very impressed by the value. It's an interesting leather color. Is it dark grey?
It more like a matte black that’s looks grey in some lights.

Yeah, its 12 1/2 inches

Don’t you think that heel counter is almost flat? If it had rounded heel it would’ve looked much better.

How do you compare it to the urban Wolf?
Value for money they compare similarly. They are just a lot sleeker while UWC is more work ready.
