Travis is the BEST! Question: I'm confused when Travis says the attempt of a contract would be "Void" only if it's ILLEGAL. Is this entirely true? I mean, yes, if it's illegal it is indeed void. However, just because it's void does it automatically mean it's also illegal? Put another way, if a "contract" is made but there is no consideration, isn't that a "void" contract also since it doesn't meet the validity test? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

So, according to that definition, it seems that if a contract doesn't meet ANY one of the 4 elements (not just legal object) of testing for validity, that defines the contract as void. Is my prep book incorrect? Thank you so much for your help, you are a phenomenal teacher!!!

A contract without consideration is unenforceable.
