Yes, you can definitely finish the batten installation in one 8 hour day. It took me ~20 hours, because I had to buy tools and think it through. I will let you know how long it takes me to install the port side batten.
Wow! looks great. Love to see that you embraced the hand tools a bit. Gives me some more motivation to do this sort of thing as well.

I am learning to use the hand tool. Now I need to learn to sharpen chisels. The thickened epoxy dulls the edges quickly.
