Thumper chops are awesome! Each and every bike you featured was great, but three of them REALLY caught my eye. The Panther's engine is absolutely beautiful, the Matchless is, well...a Matchless! But the bike that screams "proper chopped thumper" like nothing else for me is the Snortin' Norton...wow, what a machine! Time to find myself a ratty ol' thumper to make into a sweet bar crawler...thanks for the inspiration!
Panther i had one in 1969 70 loved it broke the crank lack of oil ( my b31 never used a lot )built one for o guy chooper what else in bsh yammie west cumbria yours is the best of the bunch is it still on the road
Panthers were built to be used with sidecars, loads and loads of torque, due to large heavy flywheels, very necessary in the 50s and early 60s when no one could afford a car.
To each his own, but there's a reason why production bikes have always been designed within a relatively narrow range of ergonomics, suspension, and steering geometry: it works. Going outside of that normal range means sacrificing safety, functionality and comfort for attention-seeking.
Think of these bikes as the motorcycle equivalent of a woman wearing six inch stiletto heels as apposed to her wearing a pair of practical "sensible shoes".
I "got it" the day my cousin and I were standing in the shop at a motorcycle dealership where we both worked when another of the mechanics rode by on his Harley a block away. It was LOUD and I said something about why anyone needed to ride something like that. My cousin dead-panned a four-word answer: "Got you to look."
This old machines run today!!!!! Amazing, precious, a big work !! Congratulations for his owners, best regards from Argentina.

Panther's heart beat! I love the thump timing, it would easily sync with human heart beat!
Makes me even more determined to build one. Thanks for sharing.
Good thought.....I am making one.
I think it is damned cheeky using my Yellow Panther chop in the header and not featuring her in your compilation!

Have you heard about Mark Atkinsons new two stroke piston design with the thread in rods? Very cool stuff
Love the first one, fat Freddie's cat!
Wonderful motorcycles ! Cool !
I use to have a 1924 triumph motor that I built a bike around back in 1970 kind of miss that simple cruiser
Norton single is badass!!!!!!
I think the number plates in the UK should be larger.
+1 for Fat Freddy's cat
Just my opinion but nothing sounds better than a inline four with four into one header!
Шикарный звук особенно у первого.
That suzuki savage will toast your thigh
And the last Yamaha sr 400/500....nice
Kool my Dad called them one lungers
ok the rat 650 suzi with the bsa tank was tight.
nice bikes!
I haven't seen a Matchless in over 50 years......
well then, since I'm in the USA I guess I'll never get to see it.......
The Panther M100 has the coolest engine!!
Looked good,sounded bad!
It's my passion. Royal Enfield. N jawa yezdi
One lungers sound way better in my opinion.
The single-cylinder race at Isle of Man interesting. Speeds less intimidating. Love SR 500
Love that panther!!!!!
panther fires at every lamp post
Wow what a beauty!
Очень познавательный канал ,мне очень нравится,
the very first one was too good 💓
I guess each has their own. Not in my taste of motorcycles. Nice to see they weren't crushed at least.
Look at Tatros single harley.....fastest single you could imagine
Why is the idle so high on that Suzuki?
Those were nice bikes but my daughter was upset the pink bike thumbnail was clickbait. I'm a little disappointed
it seems someone slipped a few 2 cylinders in there???
Twin port or 4 valve, no twins.
Several one lungers have two exhaust pipes.
All choppers should only be single cylinder #onlytorque
Mine Mine Mine Mine🐧. I want one
nice bikeee

HA!!!
Thank god there are people who do go outside the norm !. What a boring world it would be without them !!
That's the whole point of choppers, surely?

Thumper + chopper = Thopper? Chumper? 🤔😂👍
I enjoyed the clips, thanks! But where's the pink one? Clickbait. Not that you should need it for this... My doughter's just really disapointed now...
👋 😎 👍...
1:00 realmente estamos solos en el universo?

працюе як січкарня
Satria FU
Single cylinder sounds horrible! Wouldn't be caught dead in one
Years ago, had Yamaha SR 500.. used to go super-bike hunting on windy mountain roads, and ride up their tail-pipe.
So why do you care how it sounds?
