Great video. Clear instructions. It’s nice to see the process before hand and know what you’re getting into. I’ve done many plugs but not on the Terrain yet. Surprised they’re so accessible. Thank you!

My GMC terrain got shaky and felt like it would die when stopped for too long. It died a couple times but started quickly. I think there is an oil consumption issue on this car. I have had to change my oil fairly quickly and it is low more frequently. I am gonna change the spark plugs. I don't have an error code though

You may want to see if there is a service bulletin on it. My KIA drinks oil too. I had to take it to the dealer for a computer upgrade so if the engine blows it is documented.

@@HomeOwnerRepair I did take it to the dealer because there's an open lawsuit but the only way to fix it is to rebuild the engine so they won't accept it they said the oil conception is acceptable which is bullshit excuse my language

Some mechanics say no anti-seeze and others say it’s okay on the spark plug trends. Which is it?

We have been adding a LITTLE anti-seize to spark plug threads for 35 years ..never has an issue. It will help to prevent the spark plug from getting stuck in the cylinder head when you go to change them the next time.

What's the link for the sleeve/fitting you use for tightening by hand for the spark plug?

It sounds like you are referring to the Thexton tool. Here is a link to them on Amazon: amzn.to/3UMnc6p

@@HomeOwnerRepair thanks and what's the name of that hose that's on top of the air filter? I went to the junkyard and everything terrain I seen didn't come with it.
