In May of 1980 after approximately six months of strong conviction from the Holy Spirit of the living God I called on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to save me from my sin. I had been making a lot of bad choices in my life and it almost cost me my wife and family. I remember the job I had at that time having a lot of time to think about what I had been doing and realized I was on the way to hell if something didn’t change. My wife Judy, had become a born again Christian in December of 1979 and had been sharing the love of Jesus with me. One day while going to the grocery store for her I cried out to God with this simple prayer. “ God I have done many bad things in my life, if you can forgive me, would you please show me.” That prayer was answered two days later when having a conversation with my wife, she said; “ Mark, if God can forgive you, so can I.” My prayer had been answered and I have never been the old man again that I had been. Call on Jesus today and he will save you just as you are. Romans 8:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Ephesians 2 verse’s 8 and 9: “ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works lest any man shall boast.”
