1st gen dark owner here! basically bought for it being easier to modify, so they certainly nailed there with me at least ( stearing me away from the triumph scr 900)... but i got to say that new full throtle looks amazing!... and of course the post apocaliptic from bike shed also haunts my dreams.... always liked the desert sled but they are a little too tall for me for everyday use and traffic stop and go kind of riding ..... great vid as usual my friend and as we say in spanish : tocayo! (same name)🔥
Dropping the Desert Sled was crazy. I am on my second DS - the best all rounder Ducati I have owned.
took a scrambler out this saturday. the handlebars were one of my two complaints. my arms got tired after about half an hour. would definitely swap them. The other complaint is the seat is a bit solid, if there is a comfort seat i would 100% get one.
I'm definitely hoping for that first prototype.

Love the black and gold full throttle. A big improvement on the previous red colour. I used to own the black and yellow full throttle. Great bike, but prefer the look of this version.
Desert Sled is the only Ducati SCRAMBLER actually worth the name
Like the black & gold Scrambler Full throttle but rather pricey for what it is. The Dark version for 2k less is much better value given that they're essentially the same bike bar some gold paint & an overly expensive road legal exhaust. Also love the Cafe racer concept but having Scrambler on the tank is daft imo.
That exhaust is such an afterthought of a design

what do you think of the only single front disc brake? is is sufficient already?
Love the looks, I'd just wish they'd stop using 18" front wheels. It severely limits tire choice, and won't make these any more 'offroad'. 21 or 19 inch for the offroad ones, and 17 for the rest please.

Unfortunately they never remade the Urban Enduro, it was the most beautiful one and I had 2, should have bought the third used. Changed for a Triumph Scrambler 900 and the Ducati was much more amazing to drive!

I think everyday Adventure will be the new Multistrada V2.
Prototypes have got a new engine. So they will bring pretty sure a new Monster with that too.
Also it seems to be probably that there will be a Adventure or Enduro with the 698 Mono.

Man, maybe I'm old, but I can't stand the no rear end/fender look anymore. Looks incomplete and like an amputation.
I second that, it's only retro bikes that have decent looking rear ends these days..., and what's the point with chopping it off and then put some hideous contraption behind the rear wheel because the design doesn't work, it's a mystery..., or I am just old...
Agree, and then they put pillion pegs on, can’t ever imagine giving a mate a backy after a breakdown. 😂
For me it is much worse than that. We end up not only with ridiculously impractical bikes, but also all bikes seem boringly "custom made", 2hich defeats the intent of beong different. They ahould design the frames and subframes in a modular manner so they could sell a proper bike and then sell "upgrade kits". That would make them hugely more money both from having less bikes in the manufacturing line. Dealers would handle the conversions and they could offer the clients better price if they leave the original parts at the shop. Cliens can also opt to keep the original parts and have two or more bikes in one.
Old bike looking far too expensive, it's no wonder Chinese bikes are selling so well.

a scrambler with a low exhaust is simply a bloody roadster, no high exhaust - no deal, simple. The only one there that should hold the name scrambler is the concept version but the bars were wrong - come on ducati ffs
this look is getting old needs a redesign at least change the headlight design or something else perhaps exhaust . expect us to pay £10k and the same old look of 2018 huh. not taking my money better things to be had. Perhaps some more folks would resonate. They tease something and then the release something else and we spend thousands of £££ and then they get stolen in London, lol. ..... makes me think there are only a few motorbike designs that age well rest all are fancy toys .
If it was good enough in 2018, is good enough for newbies in 2024
I'm sorry to say, that garden hoe rear mudguard spoils the good looks of the bike. Not only ducati but also others like trident 660 etc.
