I love the Optimus Prime. I like the Rodimus Prime a lot. I was disappointed with the Optimal Optimus. When I heard they were making it I was glad that Primal one because he’s awesome and it made him an in canon Prime. I thought Primal would transform into a gorilla then the surfboard would come apart and basically armor him up into Optimal Optimus, kind of like Siege Ultra Magnus. I wouldn’t have minded this as much if Primal had incorporated better into the combined mode. You can still completely transform him into robot mode for “conjoined twin mode”. They could at least have made Optimal Optimus’ fingers articulated. I wanted Hound to win the contest. I’m surprised they never did Ultra Magnus as an Optimus retool
I wonder what the Hound figure would have been honestly? Like would Hound go into something and come out as someone else or what would Hound be? Or would it be super powered Hound.

watched Beastwars some years ago for the first time because remembered I got Transmetal Megatron as a child was interested where he came from.....sadly lost him, fist his lower half and later the rest. Now I have Beastwars Megatron and his Dragonform on my list
I have all of them except for the nemesis prime retool of Optimus. I have the SDCC exclusive optimal Optimus, regular Rodimus, Rodimus unicronus, and Optimus himself.
When these figures came out i bought them immediately love optimus and rodimus and absolutely love them unfortunately couldn't find optimal optimus anywhere in jersey or nyc
Optimus looks amazing, Rodimus looks a bit odd, but still looks cool, and Optimal Optimus is great! While I definitely prefer the new 86 Commander Class Optimus Prime (same goes for Rodimus Prime) these were pretty cool figures, and it would be interesting if they brought them back.
I wish they would release some main-line version of Starsaber, even if it's missing most of the Haslab features. At any rate, I've been enjoying your videos after being recommended the Beast Machine Megatron review. Good job!
The last toyline to have leader class sized leaders that were good old leader quality. Now leaders are worse then voyagers used to be. Are like £60 compared to £40 and now if you want a leader class toy you need to but commander class what is just leader class renamed and cost £90-£120.
There´s just onw thing I never understand from the Power of the Primes Leaders, WHY THE HELL THERE WASN´T A MEGATRONUS FIGURE?, WHY THE HELL THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE PRIME TRILOGY NEVER GOT A TOY?
An excellent question. I just feel like a waist of a slot. It's Optimus Prime but painted black. It's just very uninteresting to me is all. Especially given Nemesis Peime usually isn't a character RID 2001 Scourge however? Now that guy is some gooooood stuff boy. Plus he's an actual character.
@@TheUncleShow Speaking scourge/black convoy I actually picked his volocentron series figure and honestly the g2 optimus mold works way better as a black convoy figure. Plus I like the colors as he’s meant to a mirror to everything Optimus isn’t. Even looks nice when posting with my earthrise Optimus toy.

It is in fact based (thanks to its classics figure) in a Dome Zero Concept from 1978, but heavily modified

The closest we got was Siege Ultra Magnus and the Haslab star Saber, really good figures though.
