Spectacular scenery in northern Canada ! I was hooked from the very first moment i began watching your video from the Arctic. I began with pt 2 so after seeing half of it i had to stop and watch from the very beginning. I live in Sweden at almost the same latitude 59 as northern part of your country. It would be a real dream to go canoeing in your country and go fishing. Those trouts you caught do they relly exist ?!! I look forward to the next video and i gonna watch your early videos to. Many greetings from Sweden !!
Loved the caribou shot. So majestic and beautiful. Glad you had shelter to avoid the storm. I think Noah should have eaten the bugs! Blueberry pie is my favorite!
I knew this was going to be good when you started to post it, but really its f@#% fantastic. Best entertainment I've seen for quite awhile. A pleasure to watch. Thanks guys.
I’m new to the channel and I’ve just binged on this recent series. Thoroughly enjoying it. What an epic landscape. Really looking forward to the next episode. Cheers from down under 🤙🏼
thanks so much guys for another incredible episode. Can’t wait till next Wednesday. You guys are truly great adventurers. I am so glad you share the experience with us. The filming is exceptional and you tell great stories. Heartfelt thanks from John and Leslie!!!
the hospitality of the north is full on display when you pulled into the camp at the end of the video, you helping get them ready to open and them hosting you so graciously. You seem to be getting wise in the way of avoiding Ice! The Lake Trout fishing is ridiculous! Next up has to be a polar bear!
Always interesting your trips, well done. Two years ago on the Slaver River we had a storm that was very intense. High winds and very heavy rain. The rain was so heavy it flattened the waves. Long ago I and my two children (age 14 and 15) did the Yukon River. At one place there is an an abandoned paddle wheeler. The site had an outhouse. My daughter commented it was a great treat to use it. I assume staying in a cabin was far more exciting for you.
Awesome twist of fate to be behind schedule so you can come upon the lodge which ended up being a great place to shelter from the storm! Funny how some things work out.
Gorgeous, and absolutely glad to be able to watch your adventure from the comfort of my skeeter free home. Of course, we have a few months before they arrive here, but our bats and dragonflies tend to keep them at bay.😅
Ugh the ice…loving this series like all your others. Great editing & videography. Drone scenes as always…epic! Love the hospitality of the lodge owners ❤
Increadible, the scenery, the weather, the luck of meeting such hospitable people in the middle of now where. Truly a wonderfull experience! Thank you for sharing!
Another great episode! what a beautiful part of the world, that hunting camp you came across and stayed at was in an amazing spot too ! super nice of them to allow yahs to stay. Cheers !
You guys are troopers. It takes a mind of steel not to get discouraged and give up. I think nature likes you, and are trying to give you an easier journey. Those storms, man.. So nice of those people to let you in, and so nice of you to help them out!
Ha I get mad if the temperature drops below 75 in mid July!!! Guess I shouldn’t complain! That ice is really something - and the vastness of the land there is awesome. Thanks for bringing this place to us. Live your stuff.
imagine having a place way up there, awesome! Like so many other places on peoples journeys nice to see the kindness of strangers and their willingness to be part of your story
Epic camp you guys came across have to love that ,Amazing views of the Bison, man they are huge! well alot of ups and downs esspecially around the continuouse ice but hey you preserveared and overcome the obsticles cant emagine how much work goes into filming such a wilderness adventure. But I can say your all so blessed to be able to do such. how kind to help out the camp owners and be able to stay the night yourselfs .
Awesome content every time! Currently watching the Labrador and Quebec 30 day documentary, in between the release of this series! I wish I could do this... I dream of being able to do trips like these! Keep up the quality content!
Dang, been a fan of lost lakes, jim baird, explore the backcountry for some time. Somehow your channel has never come up in my reccomendations. TH-cam algorithm is a joke! Glad i found it though, epic trip you guys did..cant wait to see the rest of it. Cheers from Ottawa.
Wow! You guys are delivering another epic journey! There are so many thoughts and questions running through my brain! So glad you made it to the lodge and helped those poor folks! Just epic!
Wowa He was a big one! and yes, musk ox can swim. In fact, they are quite good at it and often use swimming as a way to escape predators or simply to cross a river. Some Inuit even refer to them as “oomingmak,” which means “the bearded one.”
Love all the drone shots you guys are getting on this trip
ITS XANDER
is the sun high enough overnight to keep charging...? extra daylight hours could be a big factor in keeping the drone aloft.
The hospitality of the lodge owners is so precious. Seeing you guys pitch in to open up camp is amazing 😊
True. The reality is that if the lodge runs into financial trouble and leave there is no money to clean up the landscape.
Such a heartwarming episode! I wish the McNeils all the luck! Fantastic job helping them out in return!
