Hey, I’ve been subscribed for awhile, but haven’t had much youtube time. I’m binge watching all of your 7 rock cuts of the week and I love them all! I live in SK Canada and we aren’t known for having great rocks, I’m planning on getting a lap saw because I could watch rock cutting all day. It’s always a mystery solved, thanks for your content!!
Thank you, glad you’re enjoying them! You won’t regret getting a saw! I was intimidated by the whole process for a while and never looked too far into it because of that. There’s something really rewarding about getting to see what’s inside! Thanks for the comment, and for watching!!
3:46 Looks like you have a nice thick crust of common opal. The mineral is silicified something? Agate with lots of cool inclusions or wildly colored quartzite?
Ahhhh cool! Didn’t know that’s what that was! I have found a chunk of it, but mainly I’ve only seen like it was on this rock. Yeah, I could see both, probably leaning towards agate only because I know that’s in the area, but there’s quartz also I guess, haha
So Pretty!
thanks!
Impressionist painting! Excellent description
thanks!
Beautiful cuts! Really like the swirled rhyolite #4, and the red and white heart shape in #2.
Thank you! I thought the second one looked like a heart as well
