Best truck i ever owned was a 1980 Jeep Comanche 4.0 with long bed. Some young high schooler decided it would be fun to back out of the schools parking lot at high speed, in reverse, he didnt see me at all and he backed out right in front of me, totaling my favorite Jeep, at the same time totaling his moms Civic. Miss that Jeep.
I saw this jeep when it was just posted and was trying to figure out how to get it and take it to Michigan! Glad it ended up going to someone who will take care of it.
please tell me I did not just hear you say "put stop leak in it" ................................................. well that motor is irreparably F'ed, go head and find a new 4.0L engine, radiator, and heater core, all new hoses, they are all trash and irreparable.
@@TimelessMotors I have an XJ sitting in the back yard that had 4 engine flushes, a plugged up heater core twice and replacement twice, a plugged up radiator and replacement, and it finally had enough blew a rod out the side of the block, and it still has stop leak in it from the original owner, I bought it at 30,000 miles…. It blew up at 200,000, I also have a second XJ no stop leak body rusted off it at 250,000 miles, and a YJ that has 200,000 miles on the OG motor no stop leak. Then there is the ford cargo van, original owner put stop leak in it, heater core plugged up, radiator plugged up, still runs, the 95 Dekota rusted into the ground no stop leak everything work, 88 Ram Charger no stop leak everything works, the 89 Dakota original owner put stop leak in it and the radiator plugged up, over heated took the motor apart to clean it all out. Still haven’t gotten it back together. And we aren’t even going into the various motors not in cars, or the ones in progress. So ask me how I know stop leak should be an illegal product :)
@@webduelist Heck no man ive had it save my ass many times. Just flush it out when you get to where your going. The problem is people who leave it in as a permanent fix. Give her a good flush when you get home and your gold.
