The other part being that he may just not be that interested in connecting. I have worked tons of genealogy cases with a focus on reconnecting families and most every family has a few people who don't really care that much and just find it all trivial. There is also the possibility that Joe has dealt with family members trying to get something out of him because of his fame, so if that's the case he may be a bit jaded in connecting with family because of it.

@@matteoj226 My guess is it is partly for privacy reasons, since Joe likely doesn't want to divulge too much information about his family. The other part being that he may just not be that interested in connecting. I have worked tons of genealogy cases with a focus on reconnecting families and most every family has a few people who don't really care that much and just find it all trivial. There is also the possibility that Joe has dealt with family members trying to get something out of him because of his fame, so if that's the case he may be a bit jaded in connecting with family because of it.
Well considering what their respective claims to fame are they really couldn't be two completely different people so there may be no interest due to lack of anything to make a connection with.
