Simply beautiful scenery. Not too dissimilar to the Lakes.
As a fully trained Mountain Guide, your knowledge of the surrounding area is a marvel! 😂 Thanks Tony. keep em coming!

Thanks Adie. Yes, very similar to a Lake District “round”. I don’t know much about the hills & mountains of Scotland, but hoping to get there more in 2025.

Thanks Sally. The last quarter was the most enjoyable section of the walk. The goats were good to see though.

Hi Cathy. Yes, it absolutely was. Although the goats on Black Crag were cool.

That looked a bit of a slog but the final hill was stunning. We were in the Lakes at the weekend and Keswick was RAMMED.

Hi Darren. Yes, up to the trig was a slog. The goats were good though.
The other side of the valley was much more interesting.
We were up The Dodds on Saturday in the clag and gales. The forecast was blue skies and 15-20mph winds!
Did you get up any hills away from the crowds?

@@TonysTrails We climbed Catbells, Maiden Moor and High Spy. We managed to get to Catbells summit ahead of the massive crowds that followed shortly after but Maiden Moor and High Spy were both fairly quiet. Your route down via the quarry is superb. Spent about half an hour exploring all the old workings. We were going to tag Castle Crag on at the end but the heat defeated us and we just headed for the bus back to Keswick.

@DarrenK276-NE Glad to hear you used one of our routes. We started in Rosthwaite last time we were up on that ridge and Catbells was a nightmare with the crowds! It was still quite busy until we dropped down to the quarry.

@@TonysTrails Catbells was busy when we got there but when we looked back down there was a constant stream of people behind. Hopefully going to the Langdales in a few weeks.
