Hell no! Even the 2.0t ats can be made to be pretty fast. Can make em little faster then a stock ATS-V get em around 450-480 wheel hp. My ATS 2.0t is making around 330 wheel hp 370 crank right now.

Absolutely the thing I love the most about this car is the way it handles, feels solid and super safe around curvy roads doesn't get out of control u feel planted and that's what I most love besides the actual fact that when boost kicks in it sucks you in the seat lol! The 1 thing I don't like or wish I could change is the 8 speed transmission it's ok, but if it could have been a dual clutch trans or something faster shifting that would have been perfect! Don't get me wrong the transmission is strong, but not something that should have come with in this car. If it would have had a dual clutch this car would easily be a mid to low 11 second car from the factory! That's probably the only knock I have other then that, this car is sexy, sleek looking especially in black (mine is black), luxurious, sporty, and comfortable, all around in my opinion the best bang for your buck! Pretty good on has mileage as well I get about 23MPG combined driving when in “Tour Mode" I usually just cruise and chill I'm not an agressive driver at all but I have launched the car since I've owned it tryed out the different modes traction off/traction on, “Track Mode" u name it I've already gotten comfortable with it over a span of a month just taking my time getting in touch or in sync with this machine bro, with that being said even with playing with it on different modes I'm still getting 22-23MPG cruising. So yea bro like i mentioned this car has basically a little bit of everything I wanted and more!!! I too was on the same exact car shopping list for cars I actually was low key searching for Chevy SS super underrated and rare car, and the other car was a INFINITI Q50 Red Sport 400 l. The reason I didn't get the SS was simple, 3 things for me in general speaking, 1, gas mileage horrible even tho I kno it's s big V8 with lots of power it gets horrible gas mileage for me since I was going to Daily the car often yea it didn't make since. 2, if for some odd reason I got into an accident the parts aren't going to be readily available bcuz the car is rare and don't make much supporting Factory replacement parts which I Kno would eventually be a headache. 3, for me I would hated to explain to everyone every single time they ask what kinda of Chevy it is “its a SS not a Malibu" 🤦🏻♂️ lol for those or us that Kno what the car is and where it comes from and what it's actually called in Australia would always turn into a story having to explain to people what kind of Chevy I own uhhh. 🤦🏻♂️ And I just told myself maybe I'll pass on this rare chevy. And the Infiniti I've always like them because of that sexy front end but I always hated the back end, the rear of the car has always looked blah or ehh to me and I've never been in LOVE with the overall looks or appearance of the whole car, the gas mileage, and power were gonna be decent for me and what I wanted but it wasn't something I knew I'd love especially the power for price! The interior was cool depending on what u options and colors you like but what kept me from actually test driving the Q50 is simple 2 things. 1 the stupid electronic steering that to me already was a big disappointed and didn't want to mess with. And 2 I've searched and read so many Q50 forums how so many guys had issues with axles popping out... the cars always overheating...even being normal Factory cars...needing to buy after cooling parts just to maintain a good temperature...and then to lower the damn car u had to basically rip apart ur entire back seat and lower seat and side bolsters just to lower the rear end..I'm like yea no I'm not doing all that Im good. I liked the Infiniti the most aesthetically until I came up in the ATS-V!!! I loved everything about the car since they came out in 2016 everything!!! I just never thought I could own myself cuz it was way out my price range so I was going to settle for the Q50 but the depreciation and price of the V came down alot in the 4 years that i was able to finally find one and purchase one! It was the best decision I made bro and I have no regrets one bit! I get looks from everyone everywhere I go and people at my work constantly give me compliments on the Caddy, asking “when are taking me on a ride" every couple days someone adores the beautiful site if this machine. If you can find one go for it test drive it for yourself see what you think, but me personally for my needs and wants what I wanted from a car this exceeded everything I was expecting I LOVE the car man and that's saying a shit ton cuz I'm a very picky person with my purchases I have no regrets brotha none! 👌🏼

Yes bro the car for me surprises me every time when I push it around corners the tires keep griping and the car goes where I put it feeling direc5 and rigid, all this being in track mode or course. And heck yes bro these ATS V's from the factory were OVER BUILT it's been proven so for sure you can throw this thing on the road course and whoop on those M3 M4's and even those heavy scat packs, and some AMG's might be forgetting some cars but the list would be too long LOL! Just this past Friday night I took my boss from work on a cruise and scared the crap out of him, launched the car hard and took a good sharp turn up ahead and he said “dam this thing takes corners sick" lol... So yes brother from my experience this machine is just amazing even in the tight sharp curves and turns stuff I like to do with all my cars anyone can go fast straight but I also like take my cars on twisty back roads, and this car does it perfectly! And as far as the exhaust note goes or sound from the engine yes I also too was skeptical about that from the videos I've seen bfor actually hearing one in person and let me tell you bro it's all 🐎 sh*t. This car all stock which mine is, sounds in no way like any rice burner or pocket rocker car man trust me! This car to me stock has a verrrrry nice deep smooooth exhaust note when driving in Track Mode and when u floor it man does it sound sooo nice and smooth very satisfying almost like that Infiniti G37 u mentioned bro very similar to that exhaust note smooth deep and refined! In regular “Tour Mode" the car is very quiet, super chill and relaxing. Has a distant exhaust note but very quiet. And oh yeah the Corsa exhaust I've seen and the Weapon X sound freaking mean as f**k! Im undecided in what I want to do to mine cuz both sound very agressive but great sounding without that annoying, dreadful, gawd awful “rasp" we all fear and hate! So no bro if you can find a V trust me when I tell you the stock exhaust sounds great! 👌🏼 I don't want to cloud ur judgement on buying a particular car but from my experience being around friends with the cars we mentioned, the V is a completely different category of its own brotha, people will stare and admire something like this over the usual nice but common Camaro you always see or the Infiniti, even the SS people will completely walk by that car cuz they think it's Malibu, with the V im telling you man people of all ages look and compliment it cuz it's different it's sexy it's unique! Everything I wanted people to feel when they see me driving it and when she's parked! The CUE system to be very honest bro for what I need and do the system does very good I also read and seen TH-cam reviews that it's not good... this and that bulls**t but from experiencing it Everyday the system does very good its not “laggy" like everyone complains about it's responsive and connects instantly to my Bluetooth when I get in ready to start Jamming away with music! Or switching from radio to media, changing the Climate control is fast and responsive and works very good. I don't ever use the navigation so I don't bother with but I have moved it an it does have a lil slow response but who cares I always used my phone for a navigation point when I needed to and that's rare so yea the CUE systems is good the INFINITI sucks ass jeez that system is poor compared to the CUE so don't be scared by the system bro it's doing just fine for me! And lastly overall this car is just a fun, beautiful, 4 door comfortable machine that outperforms 90% of the cars on the road, what more can you ask for bro it's literally as close to the definition of perfection when it comes to a car, Price range ✓ Comfortable yet very sporty (Recaro Racing Seats) ✓ Entertainment center functionality and overall ease of use ✓ Appearance aesthetics ✓ Interior room and trunk room a lil more on the tighter side for a Mid Size sedan but still comfy and roomy to fit my 2 kids with car seats ✓ Handing ✓ Permance overall ✓✓✓✓✓✓✓!!!!!!

These aren't just your typical v6's. Twin turbo v6. With basic boltons a e60 tune they make 600+whp and run anywhere from low 10s to high 9s in the 1/4 mile depending on temp, DA, and weight reduction. Full weight mid to low 10s all day.
