These are so sharp you can use them without hammer TBH. I can only imagine the tile you cracked had the incorrect adhesive for porcelain. I’ve personally never cracked a porcelain tile with these and I’ve drill hundreds of thousands of holes over 25 years. I personally didn’t like how quickly diamond bits wear out compared to their price, but more than happy to check them out again, thanks for the recommendation buddy. Cheers, Rob.
@@stevevenus1 I’ll give them another go, but definitely need a speedy option when second fixing lots of equipment and accessories as I can be drilling up to 50 holes in one bathroom. How do you feel about the spearhead bits?
Are you using anchors in these holes to fasten these fixtures to the walls? I need to get a shower rod mounted but unfortunately don't have a good way to know where there are studs in the walls.
Use hammer action....find out from your contractor what's behind the tile , Really. Just moved in a ten year old house, no idea who built it , probably gone bust by now. Would have been useful to tell us how to do it if we don't know what's behind the tile !!!
Ok Alan, two options. Use Hammer and take a risk or don’t use hammer and you’ll still get through, you’ll just use a few more bits. Thanks for you comment.
I will press a dislike 👎 on the one comment you made. I apologize for the dislike sir. But I hope my comment might get the attention for u to answer me. 🤣 I'm sorry that I have to laugh to, your video is wonderful, but silly at the same time. Who is going to what bathroom, what tile or what they use years later. 2 what if you don't know who did the work ether because u just got the property or is an apartment 🤔 😏 😉 🙃 lol U said make sure u call and ask the contractor what they use behind the tile or how they install it 🤣🤣🤣really sir? 🤣🤣 come on now. That sounds ridiculous, why not just tell us how is done or what can we do to fix it, prevented 🙄🙄 omgs. I'm sorry to be rude, i don't mean to be rude but I had to point it out because there is how scars people from actually trying, and that just sounds fking awful sir. Well I hope u answer me or fix it for the next video . Otherwise thank you for your video
Satan’s Teeth?! Who knew??
Very Helpful Thank you :)
Thanks Rob, very informative.
Thank you!
Thank you!
You’re welcome! ☺️
I've cracked porcelain tiles trying that method. Much prefer a diamond tipped porcelain bit(not using the hammer)

@@lesterbathrooms3948 Yep, the diamond ones are very expensive and do where out quickly.

Yes I am, I use a 6mm multipurpose uno rawl plug which is great for plasterboard, so no need to locate the studs.
I don’t look good in glasses 😂😂
Truth bomb! 😂

Basically what I mean is that if your Porcelain tiles have been installed incorrectly and you crack a tile don’t blame me!
