Was in at 3:30 this morning salting got home around 7 and poured a cup of coffee and queued the music !!!!! Great video Mike you’ll make a great low bedder one day. 😂 ✌️
I know your excited about getting your new truck soon. But dam the one you have now is gorgeous for an older KW. Just hope who ever gets this KW will take care of it just like you do. I take it that they will be doing the old school lettering and paint scheme like this one on the new one? Not a fan of the def but who really is. Hopefully the new KW won't have any issues dealing with the def like a lot are. Love the videos and your down to earth self. Look forward to the next one.
Morning Mike awesome video love snow scenery did a lot of that when I lived in NY we use to haul it out of JFK back in the 60-70 brings back memories stay safe pal tell the gang I said hi
Hello from central Massachusetts!!!!! Your from around the Boston area? I Enjoy your show! Some of the eastern mass people say”anything west of 495 is not considered Massachusetts “ lol! Go RedSox!!!!!!
I'm old 😂. I had a neighbor that had an old early 60s International pickup. He used to grease the whole truck. He greased it like waxing it.That thing never rusted. 😂
Another great video! I really admire the pride that you guys and some of the other companies I've seen up that way in your videos take in your equipment and trucks. The lettering and the pin stripping look sweet! None of the companies around here even come close to that. Keep the shiny side up 10 4.
Train horn is a sweet sound isn’t it. When I ran W Va back in the early 2000s I would deliver in Barboursville and lay there and I would hear the coal trains heading north and you could hear them blowing their horns clean on up to Pt Pleasant. Sweet good seeing you again Mike 😉
Awesome video Mike! I am a new subscriber to your channel and have two questions for you? Are you part of the family that owns the business or are you just a driver for them? For the snow plow trucks why don't all your trucks have wing blades on the sides, is it a business choice or municipal regulations? Awesome content can't wait to watch more, all the best! Cheers Brian
Awesome content Mike! You are a true professional! That W900 sure sounds good, that emission motor isn’t going to sound like that! Can’t wait to see your new truck! Thanks for sharing with us!👍🏾
Remember back in the day my uncle was o/o for Amour transport out of Moncton NB he would alwas rub Vaseline all over rims and tanks between washes during winter months he too totally pride in his ride 🙂
The cardillo’s like the komatsu machines they’re great machines my uncle Rudy had a 1974 d155 a track loader and a 1985 or 86 d355 komatsu push dozer a freaking beast he said it would out push and out rip a d9 Cat all day Long
They issue permits for certain things here in PA at those weights. I haul milk part time and on 5 axles we can haul about 33.5t of payload. Gvw ends up somewhere around 99k. But I used to haul spring water part time and they would issue permits on those loads but they had to use tridem tankers.
Mike, at 24:10 it looks like you had the transmission on the high side, but double clutched into low? I’m not a driver so maybe that’s normal, but not on the regular shift pattern? Or maybe I’m confused lol! Have a good one!
Excellent question! I was in 5 high but then downshifted to the high side of low on the high side. Google 18 speed shift pattern and you'll see what I mean.
Haven't paid attention but does WD 40 come in a larger bulk container that could be poured into those 1 gallon hand sprayers? Those little spray can got to be expensive. Or can you get them at a reduced bulk price?
Finally, someone that uses "WD 40" for its intended use, Water Depletion "..WD.. ..now you're going to have to figure out a way to do a DEF deplete on the new truck.
Nice to see our old locomotives (blue MBTA) looking sharp in 2024! Fantastic video! I love the lowbed content
Thank you very much!
I just got hired by maine dot and am going through the process of getting my class b. So happy
Those snow covered trees are beautiful
I thought so too
Another great video. You're going to miss that truck.

I still can’t believe they are gonna sell that truck ! It’s a big part of the family !
Love the trains

Awesome! Love to see clean trucks running down the Highway, between you guys and French I get a good show on my rides to work in Boston 👍🏽
Great camera shots, lots of work action, scenery too!Excellent video Mike, thanks.
Many thanks Mike!
Great content mike keep up the we awsome job cant wait to see your new truck
Thanks! Will do!
the Boston truck has to be the hardest working person in that company lol.
Hardest working person with a camera 💯🤣

In Boston we consider anything past Framingham as another state..lol
I'm in Waltham, from Brockton originally and we have a pit in Littleton.

Awww! Mike! You added that train segment JUST for me I bet! Haha...thanks!
That’s hilarious you must be tired though. The hilarious part was my father-in-law. Does math like that. Drives my wife crazy.👍👍👍
It's Howard Stern math if you want to know the truth.
@@TheBostonTrucker 😂😂😂😂
That stretched Kenny is one of the best looking trucks I’ve ever seen
Love the videos brother ! You sure are a busy man ! 🍺😎♥️
Thanks dude, I'm no busier than most people I just film my busyness!
Thanks for the show Mike 🍻 🇦🇺
No problem 👍, thanks for participating!
this video was a gr8 way 2 end my wknd.thanks mike.
I'm happy to hear that!
Never heard of putting WD 40 on the shiny parts. Never to old to learn new tricks. Have a great day. Lead foot from Maine.
I learned it from an old timer. 👍😉
Beautiful opening shot!! Gotta love / hate New England lol ! Stay safe out there, cant wait to see the new rig on rte 2 !!!
Thanks Cousin!🥶
Mike- I like the train shots. The new truck is not going to roll coal at all. Stay safe. Save the manuals. JM
It's going to roll DEF fluid all over my stacks!🤦
Awesome view looking at the cornering from the loader. Great smoke too. Stay safe .
Good thing you have a comfortable a comfortable truck to plow in Mikey
Awesome video Mike thanks for sharing👍👍👍 is Rose still with you guys?
She's in basic training with the Marine Reserves and says she's coming back in the Spring.
@@TheBostonTrucker sounds like a good time to do it. Miss some of the winter trucking.👍👍👍
Seeing those MBTA trains reminds me of the Dropkick Murphys, and the song they wrote about it.... Stay safe Boston Trucker...
Did I notice that the Hyundai loader had hot rod flames???? So cool.....
The landscaper who owned it before us put flames on it

Thank you for thoughtful questions. I am not part of the family and we only plow in the city of Waltham, wings aren't necessary.
morning mike ! happy new year ! hope its prosperous and healthy!
Same to you Mat

@@TheBostonTrucker You’re welcome my friend!
Should have ordered a new Mack….just kidding, you will love the new KW. Thanks for the video.
You're funny 🫨😁😉
Thanks Mike. Keep on keeping on. 👍🏻
Thanks, will do!
Remember back in the day my uncle was o/o for Amour transport out of Moncton NB he would alwas rub Vaseline all over rims and tanks between washes during winter months he too totally pride in his ride 🙂
That's interesting!
You sure that was for protection?
Yes very light coat all over between wash in winter months all winter long when nice weather hit polish everything look brand new again
Nice train shots!
Great video mike
Wow, video at 6am!
Hahahaha
Nice intro Mike!
Thank you 😁

They've had good luck and good service from Komatsu so it says a lot about them.
Hi,w900 👌😍🙏
Hello 👍
Good Morning Mike glad your doing your thing but Winter stuff it’s depressing start thinking Summer this video is too much winter oriented
I'm not a fan of Winter at all!
Mike do you guys bounce snow plows around a different schools all the time? Looks that way to me I was just curious.
No but some of them broke in the last storm and the 380 crashed into a tree so it had to be repaired.
Hi from Winnipeg Canada..It freaking cold here at -35 C :O
Hello there 🥶🥶🥶
That's a nice hat they sent.
Figured your new ride would be in the vicinity by now🤷🏻♂️
It's here, you'll see it in my next video.
@@TheBostonTrucker cool..... can't wait 👍🏻👍🏻
Did you just say 31t payload??? That setup in australia is only allowed 39t gross so minus about 15t tare leaves 24t payload
Yes sir, 33 tons in the aluminum trailer I usually pull and 31 tons in the steel trailer.
They issue permits for certain things here in PA at those weights. I haul milk part time and on 5 axles we can haul about 33.5t of payload. Gvw ends up somewhere around 99k. But I used to haul spring water part time and they would issue permits on those loads but they had to use tridem tankers.
Yea in Arkansas we are only allowed 80k. Up were he is can haul more weight
Wow I didn’t think they used a caboose any more that’s a treat
I love that thing!
Happy New Year! How long of a round is it from your shop to the pit that you always dump the mixed dirt? (F*** salt)
30 miles
I got called out at 5pm Saturday and worked 10pm sunday
That's a long one.

👍😁
Mike check engine light what’s that all about that’s why I like my mechanical diesels 😆
@TheBostonTrucker do you run extra mass permits to be able to haul that or is that standard weights
Overweight for 100k and 12 foot wide permits good for a year
I don't miss those days Mike, when will you get your new truck.
It's here! Watch for my next video!
You bet I will@@TheBostonTrucker 👍👍
Hey Mike, I noticed your air horns aren’t on the roof. Why is that?
I'm pretty sure most Kenworths have them hidden.
Need to get on that phone to WD40 and get some sponsorship..lol. That’s a good idea to keep stuff safe from salt
Hammer down Mike
Yeah buddy
Mike- I forgot to ask you if you're going to any truck shows in Florida in Feb or Mar ?
Not in Florida
Why did you have to move the snow equipment?
Hi Mike..when you guys drop equipment at the schools, do your guys run it or is it rented out to them?
We run it.
Hey mike where can I get that maroon color KW hat?
My friend from Minnesota gave it to me.
Will you ever reveal the company you were going to go work for…the one where you wouldn’t be plowing snow anymore at! lol!
I did in this video th-cam.com/video/0E-r5EMjO50/w-d-xo.html
where are my shades nice SHINE
Thanks for the oil trick how many cans a year for you thanks
You're welcome, just depends how much it snows and how many times I wash, I'd guess 6 cans.
that’s mad how much more you can carry with less axles, how much can you carry on a triaxle semi end dump??? On semi I meant sorry
77,000 lbs. gross on a triaxle dump truck.
How's the lady driver working out haven't said much about her lately
She's in basic training Marine Reserves, she'll be back.
So do you screen the snow for the loam.
Haha
KEN WORTH KEEP WORKING
Love that!
Hey mike, you dont put the boom down when you move the backhoe? I have to because 75% of the time i never been to where im going.
No because it's locked and a real pain to unlock it but it's also not very tall.
Ive used fluid film for years on my personal vehicles, works great, but you'll have a greasy mess on your hands when you try to clean that rig up
I've gotta try that stuff!
Why not buy WD40 ether in gallon cans or 5Gallon and put in a garden pump sprayer save $$$ save ⏰
I should do that.
I got a question how come you never idle the truck up in the morning
Fluid film won't wash off like WD-40 it's very wax like! Good for underside because it won't wash off easily
Ahhh good to know thanks
Haven't paid attention but does WD 40 come in a larger bulk container that could be poured into those 1 gallon hand sprayers? Those little spray can got to be expensive. Or can you get them at a reduced bulk price?
Yes absolutely you can do that!

What happened to the Winter Star?
We still have it
@@TheBostonTrucker I thought that was your winter ride. Until Rose comes back. Hence calling it the winter star
Cardillo doesn’t like Cat equipment?
You know the ridiculous saying, no farms no food. Well how about no salt no driving. Let em starve
What happened to the girl driver
She joined the Marine Reserves and is in basic training, she should be back in the Spring.
It would be a cold day in hell before I spray the wheels with wd40 so they don't get dirty omg this guy needs therapy. 😂
Can you recommend a therapist?🤷
Another guy that doesn’t get it. I have polished a lot of aluminum
WD IS THE SHIT!
Hahaha
Mike why kamatso and no cat machines ?
It all started with them having better service.
Where’s wide load flags
Qiut wyning
Never 😙
Fluid film isn't that good
I like Krown much better
The baston trucka😅
