Just glad that you even take the time to do this stuff. I do a lot of solo camping trips. Driving for hours just to get to the good places. Driving for seven hours, then filming. Ends up being a 12 hour day. We appreciate it bro.
Thanks for taking me along on your trip. I don't mind taking risks, as in example your voice over. Something to look forward to. What will Virgil do next? I wait until next time to find out. Take care.
Just watched this and thought your vehicle looked familiar. You were in my hometown. There's a lot of good trails around Weymouth that you'd enjoy if you ever came back!
@@PetesJeepAdventures thanks! Thats with Artlist.io they just released an AI voiceover feature on their site. It’s where I get all my music from, fully licensed.
Beautiful spots in our own backyards. All you have to do is get out and explore them. Great job Virgil on another great video. Thanks for inviting me to tag along.
You're gonna need a beeper for Zeus and train him to respond to it so you don't have to run after him lol. Seems like a great dog but I'm sure you know dogs are still dogs. Won't hurt to have that extra measure. When we're out overlanding that's what I put on mine and she comes back right away. Enjoyed the video 🙏
@@chenglee7277 yeah he has a strong prey drive and also he’s not dog friendly. He is quite a difficult dog and at age 12 he isn’t easy to train unfortunately. Can only be controlled at best… which isn’t always easy either 😬
@@NorthBoundExpeditions oof, completely understand what you mean. He looks very happy so you have that going for you 🙏 Ours definitely has that same strong prey drive. Always trees squirrels or chase anything on the ground. We have a pond in the back so I think she's gotten bored of waterfowl. Only just over 1yr old and my wife spent quite a bit of time training her so it's much easier. Keep grinding these vids out! ✌️
In western Quebec, overgrowth-regrowth is common. As for the voice cover, half of my brain likes it thinking of Sam Elliott. The other half of my brain is still scratching it's head, not in a bad way just not used to hear dubbed voice (unnatural).
You were close to ‘Electric City’ in the Weymouth area… We haven’t been yet but intend to check it out someday. The AI voice-over sounds like Nick Offerman 😁.
That’s where some brothers from France came over in the late 1800s, and set up a community with a Sawmill and other businesses, and dropped a dynamo in the river to produce electricity for the first time in that area. The locals could see the glow at night in the woods and called it electric city. They supplied timbers for the shipbuilding industry, but the first world war meant that some of them went back to fight for France, in the community just dwindled until there was nobody left.

@@NorthBoundExpeditions well your voice sounds better and normally on long drives you always play music lol 😂 but I'm still here for the next video lol 😂
Great video but gotta be honest, not of fan of the AI narration. A lot of what I find interesting about these TH-cam channels is the different personalities of the people posting these videos. For example Brad with Trail Recon, the passion and excitement he has for the adventure he is on comes through in his videos. AI would not be able to accurately capture that because, well, it's artificial. I am sure it can be a beating narrating these but you really do a good job and I hope you continue! Your channel is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting!
@@BruceF. thank you so much for your feedback. I might just have to overcome my narration phobia and do it myself. I appreciate you following the channel! Thank you
I hope this voice is only an experiment and will go away as fast as possible! I truly find it annoying! It takes away the spontaneity of your own voice, Virgil.
@@renelebel4665 yes it was definitely an experiment since I am very self conscious about narrating myself but based on the general consensus, this isn’t something I will continue doing. Thank you for your input!
What is with that horrible AI voice over? also you spend a lot of $$ on gear so upgrade your microphones. Very very hard to hear clearly most times. I watch many of your videos but unfortunately gave up because it wasn't a good experience. otherwise nice video. cheers
