Bout to remove my panel to reset my window motor. That electrical tape method is definitely going to be used now and many times after for other projects🙌🏼
Awesome video mate, my air vents in the door are scratched to shit and have been trying to find a decent tutorial on removal for a re-spray. Your video was spot on!
There's a screw (under a plastic tab) located where you grab the door to close it. I'm guessing your year doesn't have that screw, but if you just pop off the power window/power lock/mirror adjustment control panel without removing this screw first, you will break the bottom of the control panel.
thanks for sharing the video!! .. i just want to ad something, when you are romoving the panel make sure you take the other two screws that are on the handle bar. so should be taking 4 screws and you should be able to unplugg the panel..
Nice Z. I'm getting ready to replace my window motor, and wanted to make sure I knew where all of the screws were so I don't damage it. Helpful video! Thanks for uploading! Also, mind if I ask where you got your louvers?
The bolt/screw that sits behind the door handle, what size/length is it? I'm going to attempt to replace the window motor and I noticed my Z came without it, so I need to buy one. Thanks for the help.
PLEASE tell me where you got those carbon fiber air vent tube thingys. I’ve been looking th everywhere and I still can’t find it, could you provide a link or something
Hey man my door trim piece the clip broke towards the end of the door so it kinda sticks up and doesn't seal to the window, is it just screwing in on both sides or something? Please help man RAIN IS GETTING IN MY DOOR lol...
The top part of the door panel is seated back on top? Also the clips you are talking about are they the push pen ones? Kind of confused at why the interior door panel is letting rain in. That outside trim should be up against the glass sealing it.
I got a problem with the driver door handle from the outside it takes a few times to actually open the door...I was wondering if you knew what could it be ?
Oh man pretty sure the door handle is broken. I broke my passenger side door handle in the past and for some reason Nissan decided to make a crucial piece plastic. So I would think if you are having problems it probably cracked.
@@ProjectKaiGarage33 Locktite is the brand; it helps keep the screw in-place. There is BLUE, RED and GREEN. "Locktite BLUE" is correct for a REMOVABLE screw. Thank you for the great video.
+rawwducky69 Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry the music distracts you, but I just prefer a music playing in the background. Hope you still enjoyed the video and the stuff I put out.
Maybe do more research before diving in to take stuff apart. Sounds like you have an 03-05 interior. My Z is an 07 and I don’t have a screw in the cup holder
I mean I couldn't see it when you opened up your door panel. I have to open my door panel to reset my window motor, because when I use the auto close switch, it rolls down again halfway.
Hey Kai what's up thanks bro for the video it really helped. And if I may bro you are very attractive and cute. I know your probably married but still. New fan here, don't be offended
+MatruyoRocket oh hahaha. Yeah I posted how I relocated my cruise control on there couple years ago and was getting flamed about why would I do that and that's dumb and such. So I left that page.
Magnetism... it's magnificent... magnetic.... check it out.... I do it to everything... except plastic. does not work on plastic... i tried already....
Just got my 350z so I have no idea how this car comes apart. Your videos have helped my out immensely bro good work.
Great video , I removed my panels for paint and reinstalled them this video is easy and excellent to follow.

Thanks to your video I was able to replace my driver's side air vent. Thank you!
Good video! Liked the electrical tape on socket idea. I will definitely use that one.
Thank you so much. No one else showed this in as much detail.
Thanks man, just put dynamat behind the speakers and on the door - would of been lost without this!
Dubble D *would have
thx man! great video.. I want to upgrade my speakers as they went bad

Zakustech. Check out my other install video or google them. Can also find them on instagram.

svoncampe probably easier to just get it from the dealership. Probably only like a dollar or 2.
Hey do you know the name of the tiny white plastic that helps open the door at 4:33. It's closer to the top right of the screen
That I don't know. Maybe someone else might be able to answer.
Nice, go ahead and replace my 240 door panels while you're at it ;-)
PLEASE tell me where you got those carbon fiber air vent tube thingys. I’ve been looking th everywhere and I still can’t find it, could you provide a link or something
I wrapped them in vinyl. But you can find some overlays on EBay
Kai Johnson oh I got you I’ll think I’ll wrap them just regular Vinyl works?
DSX Vehicles yeah I used some carbon fiber ones I got off eBay. Not sure which brand since this was long time ago.
none of these tutorials show the bolts and they're all different sizes and lengths, that is why we need the video to reference what one goes where...

just took my door apart and yup a plastic part was broken great video by the way
Thanks man. I used your info. Good vid.
Good job putting locktite on that... that means when you need to replace your window motor that panel isn't coming off lol.
You do realize locktite isn't permanent?
ArtemisArtz I don’t think you know what Loctite is.

Hey man where did you get that carbon fiber part on the door?
Wrapped in vinyl but should be able to find them on eBay.
Helpful video, thank you.
The part where u are taking the inner handle off my car doesnt have a bolt like urs
Helpful video, thank you :)
Ugh, I'm going to have to replace both of my window motors. Not looking forward to it.
+MrFuzzaBear Yeah I don't look forward to it either whenever my window motors go out.
Thanks for video, its easy!
Great video
thanks
Just a tip bro u should take off the music on your videos its just distracting
+rawwducky69 Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry the music distracts you, but I just prefer a music playing in the background. Hope you still enjoyed the video and the stuff I put out.
there is a screw its in the cup holder on ther first piece you take out you made me rip it out saying there aint no bolts holding it in
Maybe do more research before diving in to take stuff apart. Sounds like you have an 03-05 interior. My Z is an 07 and I don’t have a screw in the cup holder
Where are your window at?
Rolled down? Not sure what you mean
I mean I couldn't see it when you opened up your door panel. I have to open my door panel to reset my window motor, because when I use the auto close switch, it rolls down again halfway.
Ah gotcha. There is a metal panel that you would need to take off after removing the door panel to see the window and window motor.
The Kai Project Awesome, thanks!
🤘🏼thanks
what year is this z?
2007
+Project Kai Garage I have the same :3 I just finished replacing both mini air vents on the door frames and vinyl wrapped the arm rest thanks
A screw driver is the worst tool for the job, specially if you didn't bother to protect the plastic and door panel material.
Thanks

You're obviously not on the 350z facebook group lol
I use to be. why whats going on on that page?
+Project Kai Garage cuz that page is the definition of cancer, and you seem like a nice guy lol
+MatruyoRocket oh hahaha. Yeah I posted how I relocated my cruise control on there couple years ago and was getting flamed about why would I do that and that's dumb and such. So I left that page.
Kills me to see you stabbing at your interior w/ all those metal tools, try putting a microfiber or some soft rag over them first man
mint
Eh 1 to many bolts for me ill just squegee the tint in the gap lmao.
