    The way she’s applying them looks so much better and neater than some of the other techniques I’ve seen in other videos. Some look so messy and look like they have an inch or so section that’s just all full of glue and it looks so gross. And not to mention they left a lot of space between the scalp and then start of the glue extension. I really like this method

    Isn’t the weight of the extensions too heavy for such thine fine hair? It’s going to cause more hair loss.

    • @SierraElaine
      @SierraElaine  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My client doesn’t really battle loss. She had cancer so she battles more with fine hair and it not growing in. We’ve done this to 2 years now no issues

    • @sarahlynn9270
      @sarahlynn9270 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@SierraElaine though cancer treatment caused the main issues with her hair, Length and weight matters with any type of hair. Extensions repetitively pulling on such thin hair is definitely causing more changes to her hair and scalp but I wont get all into that. I just hope she’s aware its causing further changes to her hair. If she’s fully aware then that’s great.

    • @SierraElaine
      @SierraElaine  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@sarahlynn9270 I would make her aware if I saw changes in her hair pattern. But I haven’t. I’m sure a client who’s been with me me for over 2 years would stress her concerns if she felt the quality of her was being compromised. But I’ve received no complaints. As a hair stylist of 6 years and salon owner. I’m confused as to why so one would think I’m intentionally comprising a clients hair who honestly has no other option for length and fullness apart from wearing wig

    • @SierraElaine
      @SierraElaine  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you did your research on fusion extensions you would understand that the bond wouldn’t be able to hold onto the hair if it wasn’t strong enough. It would simply just slip out since they are a permanent extension that stays in the hair for 3-5 months. Her hair cannot support it, it would break or the extensions would slip out and she wouldn’t be able to retain the extension for such long periods of time.

    • @sarahlynn9270

    Nice job except the extensions that you are attaching to that very very fine hair should be cut vertically in half. They are too heavy for the amount of hair that she has. This is how hair gets damaged and breaks off because it’s too much weight. I know this because I have very fine hair just like she does and my stylist customizes, my keratin extensions by doing exactly that cutting each one in half vertically before installing and I’ve had these for over three years and no hair breakage
