It's always fun seeing someone's collection. I started collecting a couple years ago myself, basically because my spark with Pokemon happened to reignite right before I got into art and well... Pokemon Cards have cool art so I could learn a thing or two. From my big binder of the Eevee, to my Buizel and Floatzel collection (a few stray from completion with jp and English variants alike. Missing English Lvl X, Countdown Calendar Floatzel and a variety of English reverses for both Bui and Flo,) and a rag tag grouping of some of my favorite mons. some of my favorite are the Greninja and Zoroark tag team alt art, the Absol reverse from what I recall might be Sandstorm, and my two Flygon (holo and regular) from Dragon.
I’ve been looking at older Pokémon cards and that Rocket’s Sneak Attack was apparently a menace back in its day. When I was little nobody cared about the trainer cards even though they’re such a huge part of the game. My favorites were the Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket sets, the theming was strong and simple.
Recognizing a lot of cards me and my siblings used to have as kids. There's supposed to be a binder somewhere and bulk cards from back in the day, like 20ish years ago.
I used to collect cards, but I don't know if I played a single game. I remember sorting my binders by pokedex number, which was real annoying when I would get a new version of a pokemon and had to readjust the whole binder because I was a dumb kid without the foresight of leaving spaces... good times.
Oh man, that's neat. I haven't played the card game since middle school. Fun though, is that my !brother's boys are just old enough to be getting into the TCG, and the older one is WAY into it. It's rad, and we always know what to get him for gifts, haha. It's also training for getting him to join us at the MtG table. ^_^
All my mom collects is disappointment in the life choices I've made.
But she’s still collecting that’s something. She could stop collecting
“Gotta catch ‘em alll
The first two binder pages had me like 😍 gengar is my favorite

Your Mom rock!
Casually pulls out a multi-hundred dollar card from behind another card in the same sleeve, then reinserts it back together
