The hunter call of the wild, New England map is my favorite for sound and the environment experience. Can hear the rivers, rain hitting leafs, etc. will have to look into this headset, I like the white design.

My HyperX Cloud II just was full of static with and without mic after several years. I rebuilt it once which involved desoldering, resurfacing, repainting, replacing the headband & ear cushions. The main complaint of the Cloud II was the low volume of the mic even after flashing the eprom chip. How does the Fifine H9 stack up against the Cloud II? I noticed the usb soundcard controller is of similar design.

So far it seems fine 3:55 the volume is about half way I turn it down shortly after that.

Does the mic have noise canceling? I need to know how well it does in a noisy background.

As it is an omni-directional mic and not a dynamic mic noise canceling is minimal. However keep in mind that a microphone is designed to pick up sound and no mic regardless of the type can completely eliminate background noise. In saying that if you intend to use for strictly gaming it will pick up key presses from your keyboard but that can be limited with a software based noise gate or noise suppression.

I think they are pretty similar in sound quality, however I'd give a slight edge to the H9 they have just a little bit more bassy sound to them which I prefer where the Arctis do the highs a little bit better.
